"The Christmas Trail" is an annual outdoor pageant in the foothills of western North Carolina. Visitors are escorted on a trail through a wooded park to view scenes from the first Christmas. With no production possible during the 2020 corona virus pandemic, this book gives an idea of the trail and its message. Marshmallow Stew is based on a true event when one year, something special happened, and two girls learned the true meaning of Christmas as they traveled the trail.

Not your typical holiday tale
I personally have been on the Christmas Trail. Reading this book was like a trip down Memory Lane.
Gretchen and Cheyenne did quite the presentation of this annual event. May its testament fill that yearning in our hearts as we experience Christmas on a different note this year.
