Rory Reynolds is a stay-at-home mom of two little monsters. She's a ravenous reader of romance and firmly believes that you can never have too many book boyfriends.
She writes feisty heroines, alpha heroes, and panty drenching smut with happily ever afters.
Xmas time with a dash of daddy kink!!! And low drama. Just what every Xmas novella needs!!!
Cherry lord my heart broke for Cherry her going though this during the hoildays well it sucks, and I felt so bad because I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Cherry isn't feeling the Xmas cheer since her grandma passed away the only person to give a hoot about her. Now shes in a house alone and heartbroken. Until she starts getting these secert Xmas packages from a mysterious secert Santa. She enjoying them and alittle curious who is sending her these treats. But then she re-meets Nick an old crush from when she was younger he's there to help fix her heater. And their is a connection between the two. Nick.. oh mister Santa daddy!!! That is who Nick is hes been wanting Cherry for along time but he wanted her to grow alittle and he isnt letting his chance get away. Being Cherrys "secert" Santa is another way for him to get close to his girl. Trees, cookies and other small gifts has him spending more time with his girl, and letting her cry and enjoy the moments even without her grandma. Ohhh but don't worry Nick is a dream daddy he does take care of his girl he also does give out punishments.. and yummy they are delicious.
These two are so good for one another you'll just die of daddyness and cheer. A perfect Xmas novella in my eyes.
Low angst, No ow/om drama, no cheating, tiny drama, sexy times, no virgins or manwhore

So I decided to read this one and go for a little XXXmas in July. This book is basically an X rated Lifetime Movie, but I don't mean that in a bad way. If you take the warm fuzzy feelings of a Christmas Lifetime movie but then keep the cameras rolling in the intimate moments, you'll get this novel. A younger woman has just lost her Grandmother, and the older man that's known her most of her life decides to help her with her grief. The fact that both of them has always wanted each other doesn't hurt.
The Daddy Dom/babygirl play is blatant, as the characters even use the terms and the H mentions how she reads naughty books about the subject and that's what got her interested in the lifestyle.
Overall this is a light hearted read although the sex is hot, and there's plenty of spankings. A babygirl needs spankings from her Daddy after all, right? Along with other things..
So if you're looking for a Daddy Dom/babygirl read with a Christmas theme this is tailor made for you.
I love daddy-babygirl kink and books, but this one did not do it for me. Smut was good, dirty talking was good, but the rest just made me uncomfortable.
I'll need to be more careful when reading Daddy Dom books because this one gave me an ick. Nick wasn't really a daddy dom to me. He was more of a controlling creep. Controlling what your sub/babygirl drinks and eats if like a fuck no for me. If he tried to make me drink milk before my coffee, I'd spit it in his fucking face lmaoooo get fucked daddy-o.
Getting pissed and punishing her for not picking up her phone because she was fucking working and closing her salon. I'd be fighting that motherfucker left and right, if he tried to pull that shit on me. Especially since there was no talk about the ground rules in their dynamic and relationship. Like....??? What's the safe word, bruh?
Another thing, I really don't like it when they act like literal fucking children. Makes me soooooo uncomfortable!!!!!!!!! Oh and, I forgot the golden "i wanted you since you were way too young for me to want. The minute you turned eighteen, a switch flipped inside me....." BRUH! Fuck that and fuck you! That ain't a red Santa suit you see on him, that a motherfucking red flag. Cherry doesn't need spanking. She needs some sense slapped into her.
Plot: These two were neighbors for some time, but Nick was much older than Cherry. Once Cherry came back to the house where her Grandma lived before she died, Nick turns out to be a very helpful neighbor, and Cherry is realizing that she still has a huge crush on him. As well, there is the matter of secret Santa-type packages landing on her porch.
Character development: When it comes down to it, there is a very sweet DD/lg relationship, just in time for Christmas.
I enjoyed this story - low heat, low drama, just a sweet Christmas story with a relationship between two people who seemed like they really deserved it.
Part of a series: No

🦌🦌ONE BREATH OF FRESH AIR🦌🦌 Ripping rudders rudolph! Rory works her magic with this remarkable thrill ride, serving up some seasonal joy, holiday cheer and festive frolicking, grabbing you from the first sentence until the very last word, launching this jewel to a whole new level. Attributes and perception in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into this tangled web so intricately and precise till nothing else exists, kicking this baby into the eye of the hurricane, bursting it into a tailspin with life-altering results, secrets confessed, revelations unmasked and promises made, hurling this baby to life brilliantly. The attraction and chemistry collides with such ease, exposing boundless emotions and infinite affections, drawing our characters closer, binding them to one another beautifully. The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balance and blend, with amazing depth and diversity and enough spice to add an extra kick to the mix. Throw in 100% on point realism, raising the stakes with such graphic scenarios that are so colorfully descriptive and vividly detailed its like you're living it with them instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Remarkable job Rory, thanks for sharing this amazing thrill with us.
Cherry is mine, and I plan on keeping her forever. She’s my heart. The very breath in my lungs. She’s my everything.
All I want for Christmas is one stern daddy. Heartbroken and alone is not the way I want to spend the holidays. Little did I know Santa has other ideas.
I wanted to try something out of my comfort zone. I have no problem reading and enjoying smutty books, but I haven’t read any with the daddy trope. I did read a book before this one called ‘Jennifer’s Christmas Daddy’ but that didn’t get anything from that book. This one definitely had the daddy trope. I didn’t love it. But I didn’t hate it. It was okay. I may try different books with the daddy trope and see if it was just this book or other books with the daddy trope that I just don’t like. I didn’t mind the dom trope. I wasn’t a total fan of the spanking trope, since I’m new to this type of trope, I’m not sure if spanking is part of the dom trope or what. I did love the Christmas setting, and the secret Santa gift giving part of the book. Overall, I’m giving this novella 3.5 stars.
Loved this wonderful, sweet story. After losing the most important person in her life, Cherry is struggling especially with Christmas soon here. Cherry's heart just isn't into decorating the house with memories of past Christmas and the loss of her family still so fresh. When she starts receiving gifts each day from secret santa, she doesn't have a clue who it could be but as the days go by her heart feels a bit lighter. Her hunk of a neighbor whom she had a crush on years ago also helps her overcome her grief and guilt. You will find some delightful surprises and a hot, steamy romance that is sure to keep you reading until you have finished. I didn't put the book down until the ending, I just had to find out what happened next and even there you will find an unexpected twist.
Finally Getting His Sub - As Cherry was still grieving the loss of her grandmother, she decided not to celebrate Christmas, but someone else had other ideas. Nick’s feelings for Cherry had been simmering for years, but he had waited patiently for her to spread her wings, knowing she will always return. To help Cherry out with her grief, Nick devises a wonderful scheme, where Cherry will receive a surprise daily until Christmas.
This story took me through a myriad of emotions with each page turn, as well as heartfelt moments, that will make you believe in the power of patience, love, fate and the miracle of Christmas. I urge you to get this book, if you need to read a story to pick you up.
I received a copy of this ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a beautiful Christmas story featuring Cherry and Nick. They live across the street from each other and have for a long time. Cherry is not looking forward to the holidays as her Grandmother passed away, the only person that truly cared for her. Enter Nick. He knows that Cherry is depressed, so he becomes her "secret santa." Every day, Santa Nick leaves a gift on Cherry's front door. When Cherry's heater breaks down, Nick decides this is the time for him to "make his move." He gives her something to look forward to. Nick is a great guy, and it was nice to see Cherry happy. I HIGHLY recommend this book. I did receive an arc for an honest review.
This was such a sweet and steamy holiday read. Nick has known Cherry for years, and has wanted her since she was eighteen. He knew she wasn’t ready and let her expand her wings. Now that she is back, he plans on making her his. He also wants to see her smile and get her Christmas spirit back. Cherry is back home and has been feeling down and not in the Christmas spirit since her grandma died. Christmas was a special time for Cherry and her grandma and she just can’t get into the spirit. This is a great story about a man who wants to make his Babygirl happy again. This is a DD/lg story. I loved how sweet and caring Nick was with Cherry. It is sure to warm you up on a cold night.
This book was an unexpected read, this is my first time witch Rory and I liked the way she writes.
I loved Cherry immediately, this young woman lost her grandmother who died from a stroke.
Of course, her Christmas parties are going to be sad until a surprised Santa Claus starts sending him presents. She has no time for love, too busy with her job but when Nick, an old friend comes back in her life she starts to be happy even though she is afraid of suffering. This novel is moving, full of sweetness and passion and I loved it.I highly recommend this book.
This is a sweet Christmas story. Charlotte is heartbroken at her first Christmas without her beloved Grandma who raised her. Unbeknown to her, the contractor who she called to fix her broken boiler is Nick from across the road, who she has always had a crush on. In turn No co wants Cherry to be her s baby girl forever. This sweet man flooded Cherry with sweet gifts from Santa and made her Christmas joyous again with her daddy dim Nick.
This was on the verge of making me uncomfortable. I usually enjoy daddy kink, but it got to be a little too much for me here. I don't like when a guy forces the girl to eat or drink something. Or when they act as if she really is a little girl. I enjoy the taboo aspect of daddy kink but not the discipline, which I now realized and confirmed. I'll have to be more careful next time I decide to read a book with this kink.
My first time reading this author and it was a delight! So hard to celebrate the holidays when the one you always shared it with is gone. That's what Cherry had to deal with after the grandma who raised her had passed but into her life comes the secret crush she had from girlhood with so many surprises in store for her and Nick knows just what she needs. This story is truly a gift.
Cherry is celebrating her first Christmas without her grandmother(raised Cherry). She is upset and doesn’t want to decorate or anything. Enter Nick. They lived near each other growing up. He decides to help her find the spirit of Christmas by being her secret Santa. You can guess the rest. I am fine the babygirl and Daddy nicknames. In most cases it is oh so spicy and sweet. It quickly became annoying and weird. Not a fan of Nick by the end. IMO save yourself the time and skip it.
Santa rewards good behavior and punishes for bad behavior. Totally Dom like! In this case a Daddy Dom Santa is just what Cherry needed. Nick has been waiting a long time for Cherry and he finally has her for his baby girl. Sweet but spanking, sexy story.
A sweet older man/younger woman story, light on the Daddy and heavy on the HAWT. Is neighbor Nick the answer to Cherry’s grief from the loss of her grandmother? And who is the mysterious Santa leaving gifts at her door? A great lighthearted story just in time for Christmas.
Oh wow, a secret Santa who was a secret Daddy and a salon owner who didn't realise she was a Babygirl. Each got their Christmas wish. I know what wish is going on my Christmas list. Rory Reynolds had my attention from page one and time just flew by. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest and voluntary review.
This is one of the most delightful stories I have read in a really long time. Two loving individuals meeting again after a few years and the love they have for each other did not disappear. Cherry wants a loving, nuturing Daddy who will discipline her when needed. Nick checks all the boxes Cherry is looking for. Definitely going to be following this author and reading more.
This was my first time reading from Rory Reynolds and I have to say it was quite enjoyable. Love the back story of both Nicholas and Cherry, how they knew each other and how their love story developed. Would recommend to anyone who likes a naughty and nice read lol.
I love Rory's DD/lg books! Cherry is a very sweet and super deserving Babygirl, and Nick is her perfect Daddy Dom Santa! They're just fairytale perfect. He must've been keeping an eye on her when she was away to know that she hadn't moved on without him. L-O-V-E-D IT! Don't forget the added bonus story.
Babygirl for Christmas was sweet, sexy and full of holiday happiness! Since losing her grandma, Cherry's not feeling the Christmas spirit until she gets her very own Santa. This is a fun, quick and easy read. Loved the characters and enjoyed the storyline.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. An enjoyable holiday story with no angst or drama, just a whole lot of love and steam. I love age gap stories so this book was right up my alley.
I enjoyed this story. It was a quick read. The writing was easy to follow. I prefer a little more demanding daddy but that is a preference. Definitely worth a read. Will read this author again.
This is about two people who have been attracted to each other for years. When tragedy stricks , the two are brought together to heal the heart. I cried , laughed, and hated to see the book end. A five star book and Author ❤️❤️.
A woman who's a Little and just lost her grandma. A man that's been in love with her forever. Great, loving story, with characters that will warm your heart. Left me smiling and wishing Santa would give that to me.
This is a short and sweet story. I enjoyed Cherry and her secret Santa. It's not really thought provoking but a fine piece of excapism that will draw you into their world, as these two characters establish a relationship.
