That name should mean something, and to most people it does. It just doesn’t mean what I want it to. When they hear my name they automatically think of Ricky Storm, my father, the legend.
Every member in my family is known for racing—except for me. I’ve gotten shot down by my father and my two brothers at every turn. They’re adamant about how it’s too dangerous. Every time I bring it up, they’re adamant it’s not the place for me.
It’s all bullshit.
In life nothing is ever guaranteed. Racing is just as dangerous for them as it will be for me. They think I’ve given up on my dream to prove myself as a member of this family and carry on our legacy, but I haven’t.
I’m going to prove them all wrong, if it’s the last thing I do.
Elizabeth Knox is a USA Today Bestselling romance author who specializes in romantic suspense, and dark romance. She’s well-known for her intense page-turning motorcycle clubs, and sinister dark mafia books.
While Elizabeth loves to write, she is an avid reader as well, who reads a mixture of genres. She lives on a farm with her husband in the northeastern United States with her rescue animals. When she isn’t working, you can find her horseback riding, riding ATVs, or out on the farm with her animals.
I was delighted to see that this author was writing a story in The Driven World.
Gemma Storm comes from a racing family. She wants to race but her father won’t let her. She’s a lesbian, yet to come out to her family. The chemistry between Gemma and Kiera was oh so hot.
This is a quick and easy read. The storyline is well-crafted, intriguing, suspenseful, has drama and steam. The characters are defined, and likable with sizzling chemistry. I liked it.
This was a great addition to the Driven series! I loved both characters of Gemma and Keira, they are both determined and tough women. Their love story is sweet, sexy, and filled with some struggles and complications. A quick and satisfying read and one I highly recommend.

Elizabeth Knox's Consumed is a sexy, lesbian contemporary romance novella set in K. Bromberg's Driven World. This is a contemporary Lesbian romance and I found it sexy and sweet and exciting. I actually haven't read any books in the Driven World besides this one yet so this is my introduction and I am excited to explore more. Consumed was a quick read for me but very satisfying. I loved Gemma and Keira from their meeting to the last page. There is room to expand on their journey in future books... this is a taste, a little snapshot into their story. I just want to say that I hope what the author says in the after note is correct and we will be seeing more books surrounding the Storm family. And especially followup with Gemma and Keira... I am hooked!
Our heroine is hiding too many things and fighting an uphill battle against her family's preconceived notions. But she is not one to back down from a challenge.
This story is about being true to yourself, which can often be a challenge. The story is well written and easy to read with well developed leads that do an excellent job of bringing the story to life. I really enjoyed the journey of discovery that they embarked on and loved the chemistry between our characters, as well as how they supported each other. Overall, the story was short but highly enjoyable and I look forward to reading move from this author.
Highly recommended.

I enjoyed reading this novella. Meeting new characters in a familiar universe was a pleasure. I found myself liking Keira as a person and felt for Gemma in her family situation.
A fast paced quick FF romance read set in the Driven World. I enjoyed this new release with an author that normally writes MC and paranormal romance. She did a good job with the storyline between Gemma and Kiera who meets by chance and develops instant chemistry. I cant wait to see where the Storm family goes from here.
Gemma Storm family is racing royalty and they manage a gym. She has racing in her blood but knows her father won't want her to race. Not only is she hiding her racing dreams but the fact that she's a lesbian.
Kiera Kane is a human resource manager at Corporate Cares. After a bad marriage she has a wonderful daughter and swore off men ever.
These two meet at a hotel bar thinking their evening will lead to a one night stand but quickly realize it could be more.
I liked both of these characters but I don't think this novella gave us enough time with them. I could see some of the sparks of their relationship but very little depth. The story seemed to go in multiple directions before coming back to their relationship, leaving the story feeling a bit scattered.

I really enjoyed reading Consumed by Elizabeth Knox. It's a fast read but Oh So Good.. Loved the chemistry between Gemma and Keira. I can't wait for the next book to come out. Awesome book Elizabeth Knox.
Consumed is a very short but sexy, lesbian novella as part of Kate Bromberg's Driven World. I had just finished the series and was a bit shocked to see this and was interested as to how it fit in. It is a lesbian romance and I found i read it because of the Driven series but I do not normally read F/F romance, it isn’t my troupe so there was that/ it isn’t about judgment, it’s just not for me although the story itself was good. The story revolves around Gemma and Keira. I’m still not really understanding what, why or where.

This is a great addition to this amazing series. Gemma comes from a racing family and it is in her blood, but her dad and brothers insist it is too dangerous for her, which she is determined to prove them wrong. When Gemma meets Kiera the chemistry is intense, and she is forced to come out to her family about being a lesbian, which her brothers had already speculated on. This is a well written quick read which is intriguing, and I was hooked throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend for all.
This is just an amazing story. Gemma needs to prove that she can do what she wants. He father and brothers keep telling her racing is too dangerous. So she goes to other tracks to race thinking they know nothing about it. I loved Gemma and how strong she is and her girlfriend Keira is just as strong and independent. This is a great book. I usually do not read girl on girl, I love guy on guy but this is making me rethink that. This is a great story and it was presented really well. Elizabeth Knox is a great writer and I try to get all of her books.

I usually love books by this author so although this book is ser in K. Bromberg's Driven World, a series I have not read, I decided to give it a read. It also features a lesbian love aspect which is not something I would normally choose to read, would I like it? The short answer is yes I did. It's about Gemma Storm, her father is racing legend, Ricky Storm. Racing is what she wants to do but her father and brothers are gainst her diving so she started racing at smaller tracks without telling them, what would happen when her father and brothers discovered this, would they wreck her dreams?
I really enjoyed this book! It was definitely different from what I'm use to reading by Elizabeth Knox but it was really good! I hope Elizabeth Knox decides to write another book to this one. Over all the grammar, characters, and storyline was fantastic.

This was my first read from this author and I picked it up because it said that it's set in the Driven world, however you don't need to read Driven before to understand this story. This is a lesbian romance novella. Also my first read of this genre.

I normally don’t read a story with this theme. However the author is a favorite of mine and I thought this was a beautifully depicted love story with believable attraction as well as actions/reactions. The tension is palpable between the characters as the story played out. I enjoyed reading this book.

Consumed is set in K Bromberg's Driven World and is about Gemma from a family of racers. Gemma is determined to race and keep it and another secret from her family. This is a quick, well written story with great characters, family drama, steam, and a good ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I've read a lot of books written by Elizabeth Knox; she has done a great job at writing a good short story; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Wow this story was so good.. I love the way the author gives the characters so much sass, fierceness and independence. These two ladies were amazing and I really enjoyed their story!
This was not a typical Elizabeth Knox book but it was still quite enjoyable with a great story about Gemma who is the daughter of a race car driver who wants to get into car racing, but the real story is that Gemma is a lesbian and has not come out to her family although her brothers have suspected. All this soon changes when Gemma meets Keira and her hand is forced. Her struggle is real and I feel it was dealt with quite well. This is a great short story therefore it is a quick read but it still had the impact that all of Elizabeth Knox’ books have. We got to meet more amazing characters and I only hope that more books are to come in this series.

Loved seeing a FF romance in the Driven World with this story. Elizabeth creates such amazing characters I was hooked from the beginning. Gemma is out to prove herself to her family and in the process meets Kiera. Their chemistry and romance is explosive and I devoured this. I can't wait to see more of the Storm family.
This was a fantastic book! It is my first book in the Driven World. I had no issues with following the story. This is a sexy, lesbian contemporary romance novella set in K. Bromberg's Driven World. It was a quick read but very satisfying. I loved Gemma and Keira. I loved their independence and sassiness. They are not afraid to go for what they want! The storyline is fun and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Will Gemma stand up to her family? Will her dreams be realized for her career and love life? Will Keira wait? Is there be a HEA? Read this one to find out! No spoilers!
Set in K. Bromberg's Driven World, his is the story of Gemma Storm, who was a daughter of racing legend, Ricky Storm. She had racing in her blood and wanted to follow in the family business of being a race car driver, not so much in their gym business...so she put out the word and was tearing up tracks without the support of sponsor or family...but she was uncertain of what would happen when her dad and older brothers finally discovered her dreams...but you will need to read this story to see what happens...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Gemma is from a famous racing family. Her father was a legend and her two older brothers were on there way too. But they will not hear of her doing something so dangerous. She had her own mind and decided to race at off tracks and didn’t think they knew anything about it to prove herself. She has a tough girlfriend like her, Keira who is just what she needs. Will her family ever accept her as she is?

It's a good book. Sometimes it was hard to understand why Gemma fears to tell her family her thoughts and what she really wants in live and love. We get a glimpse to understand it a bit but for my understanding a bit more would have been nice. Nevertheless this book is well written and easy to jump in and love the characters. in the series.
This is a great story from the K Bromberg’s Driven world. Gemma is from a family of famous racers and wants to race. She keeps that hidden as well as her sexuality. When she meets Keira, she will have to make a choice. There is some action and steam. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, you’ll just have to read what happens between Gemma and Keira. Elizabeth did a great job with this F/F read. You also get to see some Driven characters. You don’t have to read Driven to understand this book.
I do not normally read same sex books but I am open to anything and have now read a few. This is an excellent story and from the first page I was hooked.
