In this cookbook, all of the recipes followed one simple technique, pressure baking at high temperatures. One who loves cooking can surely check this book out. Apart from the dishes, this book throws the lights upon the methodology, instrument, appliances, and why to follow this method. But there is a flaw in the system rather a must requirement, you can't cook any dishes in the given time in a pressure cooker. You have to use a pressure baker instead and follow the methods from point to point. So if you are willing to use a cooker to cook the dish in minimal time, sorry to say, that won't be possible and the author has mentioned that in the first few pages of this book itself. Opos is one pot one shot cooking. It is based on actually tried and tested culinary science. The book starts off by explaining the science behind OPOS. Then explains how exactly it works. It is quick type of cooking which would be helpful for anyone who is working. The book also had pictures with a recipes which really wanted me to start cooking right away.
The book also answer commonly asked FAQs right at the beginning of the book and any doubts you have is mostly cleared there itself. Though some OPOS recipes can be done with normal pressure cooker. Certain equipments need to be bought to use the OPOS method effectively. The basic concept used in OPOS is PRESSURE BAKING which was completely new to me.
Then the book moves on to basic and simple recipes. It explains all the aspects in detail. More complex dishes are also present after that. The book also has recipes for Modular cooking. It has different modules based on core ingredients for everyday of the week. Then there is an exciting section where there are recipes based on whatever is there in your fridge.
