This book contained a large amount of clip art and little substance pertaining to the goals the author laid out. There were frequent advertisements to the authors other books that were about a topic being discussed but conversation on the topic never got deep enough for me.
Some brief moments of good story telling and honest advice, but overall failed to inspire or educate.
Not a lot of new ideas here. This would be a better read for a new teacher, but does not give me any new ideas or encouraging feelings toward teaching, especially during a pandemic.
I read this book 3 months after I started working in school and it was really useful. I saw mistakes I made myself :) I would really recommend it to someone who is just starting teaching.
This book had a compelling idea, but it read more like the outline and bullet points of a book draft than a book itself. The bonus: it was quick to read.
