Why should you read this book?🤔
👇🏻
It has those “magical” 4💫💫💫💫

👍🏻Author Adelyn Zara has done an amazing job with the background of the story, the plot and storyline🤩 The book is a romance novel for mature readers😍😋

👍🏻 The book talks about Dara, she seems to have it all:  beauty, intelligence, and the beginning of a successful career. But her inner demons place her in destructive and dangerous situations. As she struggles, her friendships disappear. she yearns for someone with which to share her life.

Connor Cerami is handsome, intelligent, and a rising start in the technology world.  Mimicking his father, he has become overly intense, cautious, and conservative, masking worry for his mother, grief over his father’s tragic death,  and insecurity about his job. Panic attacks and a a woman unable to stay in control challenge his practicality.

Connor’s stability attracts Dara but her flaws upset the firm ground that he has always stood on. As Dara works to overcome her demons, Connor learns to live with Dara’s flaws.

👍🏻 The story is well driven, expresses the struggles faced by a person with mental illness and how it is misunderstood by most of the people around them, how they wish to be treated as an equivalent and giving them a chance at normal life.
The book demands to be read as it progress and is definitely a must read!

⚠️ This story has mentions of breast cancer and mental illness subjects.
👍🏻My recommendation: If you want to read a wholesome story, this book is for you 🖤

In this second of the Tales of Resilience, we get to see the reactions of Lynn and Donovan, the main characters in Book 1 and their children. They each have their personal challenges.
Dara is an overachiever, has her own fledgling business, and struggles with severe mental illness. Yet, she always seems to be the person who helps others, whether its helping her father get out of a personal mess, or getting her father and grandfather to get along.
Connor wants to get ahead in life. He lost his guiding light - his father - in a tragic accident, but is still emulating him in the work world. He's enthralled with Dara but has a lot to learn about dealing with her. And he's hiding his own issues ...

Making Magic was another powerful book by Adelyn Zara so my emotions were running amok throughout. She had the courage to seriously pen a story that is a real issue in everyday life, and while it's not as stigmatized like it used to be, there are still some lingering effects about viewing those with some mental challenges making the story come off very realistic. Dara likes to shoot herself in the foot, which lands her into some pretty dangerous situations while Connor is an intense man who is doing everything he can to keep his panic attacks on the down low. They both have demons that are hard to destroy, so the masks they wear to the outside world won't stand up to each other since they can see past things that other people don't. It makes for a very emotional story that has me up in my feelings, so you may or may not need your tissues nearby after you go on this emotional journey with them! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This is the 2nd book in this series and what an emotional roller coaster this journey is. This is Connor and Dara’s story, and their journey to happiness is difficult and not an easy road to travel. These two meets at a mutual friends’ barbeque, and the next time he is one of the people who comes to her rescue when she finds herself in a dangerous situation. Both characters are challenged by their own demons, yet they see each other clearly through the façade they present to the world. This is a well written tale which this author has done a great job in penning, and with writing about subjects with such compassion and sensitivity and it hits very close to home. There may be triggers for some readers so just be aware.
