Now the grandfather of three boys and two girls, he resides with his wife Susan in Enfield, Connecticut.
love the whole concept about this book. Makes you feel good that you do read to your kids but also makes you feel like you could always do more. Last year our school did an "only read" night twice a month, where kids are suppose to read with their family. It was so great! we saw a huge interest the kids had on this time where mom and dad could read aloud to them. Huge success, I am hoping they continue it this year or I may have to show them this book;)
I am hoping to do more reading out loud to my students this year because last year's kids seemed to really like it. So, I bought this on a whim.
I read the five stories called "Chilling Tales." I only really liked the one by Ray Bradbury. It was part of Dandelion Wine, so I'm not interested in reading that.
Was a bit sad that there were a lot of excerpts. Was thinking that this would contain a variety of short stories and poems, but that's not exactly the case : ( Some gems inside it, but would have gone with another compilation had I not presumed what I had...
