Daughter of an over protective world-champion fighter, and shielded by dozens of alpha men, Emma Kincaid was locked in an ivory tower many years ago.
Too bad she shimmied down water pipes the moment she was old enough to do so. Coercing with the devil twins is as natural as breathing to her, and getting into trouble with them is as easy as falling in love.
For Emma, falling in love is easy—it’s a known family trait—but falling out of love may be the hardest thing she’ll ever have to do. * Dealt a tough hand since birth, and accused of being the devil since day one, Rob Hart was punished accordingly, and watched with distrust.
Any time golden girl Emma Kincaid was in his presence, she finds herself in danger.
Or at least, that’s how her father sees it.
In reality, Emma is the courter of danger, the instigator of illegal activities, and Rob is the unfortunate fall-guy who endures the punishments of Em’s misdeeds.
It’s a small price to pay, after all, to be with his soulmate day after day.
Best friends to the death, Rob and Emma know everything about each other: except where their hearts lie, and just when they decide to try something new, Rob’s past smacks into them harder than any explosion that came before.
Rob and Emma are destined to be together, but to get their happily ever after, they must overcome a pain so few in their family know about.
Can friends who want to be so much more see past the shards of destruction engulfing them? Or will their blooming relationship bust before it truly begins?
BUSTED is a love story that spans two decades, two proms, three ex boyfriends, years of potential prison time, one pet food factory, and an explosion that will rock the world and change everything the Rollers have ever known.

Now that this spin-off is over I can tell you what my fav couples and stories were, and I'm honestly surprised that the characters I was most eager to meet (Smalls and Bean) fell under the top three, so... 1. Nora and Tucker. Literally best healing trope I have ever read! 2. Brooklyn and Miles (and little Lyss). 3. Bry and Maddi.
About this specific book I just want to point out how well the childhood bestfriends to lovers Kincaid + Hart combination worked again. Izzy and Jimmy are the original owners, but Emma and Rob's relationship evoked the same feelings; I loved how connected and in tune with each other they were, and how ready they were to express their feelings, be it love (even when they were still "just" friends) or exasperation cause this friendship... yeah, poor Rob. THE LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION!!! ugh, I love when characters know how to talk.
I read this book the day that it was released on Kindle, but I have waited to write my review. I kept thinking that it was me, and that I had misread the story or that I didn't connect with the characters. No, it wasn't me. This just isn't that great.
How I felt about Stacked Deck: 1-2 - Eh, but it was still good 3-6 - Yes! This is what I am talking about. 7 - I am not a fan of restarting the timeline, but I'll go with it. 8 - Oh No! Oh No! 9- Ok, we're getting back on track. 10-11 - What a train wreck!
What I think went wrong: -The first third of the book is written in the past. Yes, it builds their friendship, and we do get to see some of the events that shape the future. However, there is a point where it's just too much. It's okay to mention the events in the past, but I was ready for the present long before the past was over.
-Rob - The main focal point for Rob is that he's in crisis and doesn't know how to handle it. I can't fault him his choices as I probably would have made the same ones. What bothers me is that no one in his family or Emma realizes that there might be a problem. How can you push the people who know you best away and no one says anything? I think Rob was right to be angry, but it didn't give him the right to push people away, shut down and then be angry when he caused most of the drama by his lack of communication.
-Emma - I liked Emma's character. She's strong without having the traditional fighting background. However, I didn't like that she constantly put herself in situations to be emotionally hurt. It just seemed like she takes the brunt of Rob's emotional abuse because he's in turmoil without knowing the real reason why. A strong character learns from their mistakes so the first time Rob throws her out would have been ok. However, there would have never been a second time.
-Their final ending doesn't seem plausible. There's just too much in between without groveling on both sides.
-For such a tight knit family - I missed those interactions.
-I felt it was silly that no one was aware that Rob and Emma might have been together. I don't know how many times we've seen the phrase "When a Kinkaid knows." but no one had any inkling? I am not buying it.
-Most of Busted takes place before or parallel to Dynamite. It just left both books even flatter then what they are. How could Luke not have known Rob was melting down?
Emila has once again written a beautiful and entertaining love story. The stacked decked series has become one of my all time favourite series by any authour. I'm a little emotional writing this review as this is the last book of this phenomenal series. I love meeting the new charters plus getting a sneak peak of the OG characters. Emma is the youngest child of the original peacock Bobby Kincaid and Rob is the second devil twin and son to Bobby's best friend Jon Hart aka Fart. How will two best friends deal with their children falling in love especially with each another?? Emma and Rob's story is explosive, heartbreaking, sexy, captivating, suspenseful and hilarious, with lots of twist and turns you don't see coming. This series gives you the best and worst book hangovers you will ever experience. Each couple and their stories throughout the series will stay with you forever. If your new to Emilia Finn. Do your self a favour and dive into her rollertown. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
When you finish the last book of this particular series. And your all messed up with a thousand different emotions because the author is that damn amazing. Emilia Finn you did it again. Busted just made me have all the feels in this book; 2: laugh, cry, get pissed. Basically a full run the gamut... Oh Rob my heart lol Emma is everything I wanted and more!! I can’t believe it is over like seriously I kind of want to cry but onward and upwards lol!! Emilia Finn had done it again and again and kept us coming back for more. Favorite laugh of the book....I can assure you, you telling Bobby that I’m good in the sack and will go off like a fire hydrant the very next time I touch a girl, was not in my plans. That was all you and your big mouth.”
I'm literally over here balling my eyes out because this is the end!!! And what an amazing end it was!!! I laughed, cried and even got mad a little!!! Poor Bobby!!!! Emilia Finn I can't thank you enough for the amazing stories you have written so that I can escape to a fantasy world where the Rollin on men rule the world with warrior woman by their side helping them stand strong!!!! You write such amazing stories that we as your fans truly feel we are part of their family!!! You have become my favorite author by far!!! And I can't wait for the new series to roll out!!!! Thank you for being the great writer you are and creating stories for us fans to escape in!!!!!!
This book is life. Emilia Finn has done it again. So many loose ends tied up and the ending (SQUEAL)!!!! She completed a series in a world that not only includes one family, it encompasses an entire town. The highs the lows and the happily in betweens. This book was an amazing finish to an amazing series....but, I don’t want it to be over, as usual I’m wanting more, more pages, just one more book, one more series, but that is the magic of Emilia Finn, it’s not over! We will see the Kincaids and the Harts again soon! I can’t wait for the the Rosas. Thanks for creating such a wonderful world Emilia it has been totally amazing!
Well that's it, the kids are all grown up, the series is done, and my heart hurts.
Emilia's stories are nothing but magic, the web she weaves book after book, merging timelines perfectly, creating people we love, or love to hate.
If your reading this book, you've obviously read the rest, you know how it works. You fall in love with the OG Rollers all over again, and as always find love for a new character.
If you haven't read the rest....what are you doing! Go back, start at the beginning. You won't regret it. You might finish just in time for the Rosa boys.
What a ride! Emma and Rob’s story was full of so many emotions, laughter love, sizzling chemistry, but also drama, angst, and tears! I love the way Emilia tied up the loose ends in the storylines. As always, I most appreciate the scenes with Bobby, my all-time favorite!😉 I can’t wait to read the Rosa Brothers books that are upcoming! Please check out all of Emilia’s books!!❤️📚
Rob, the other half of the Devil Twins, is a sweetheart. For better or worse, he grew up with his twin brother and best friend Emma always by his side. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say he never expected to fall in love with her.
Emma, a year older than Rob, can't live without him. He is the air she breathes, so it totally makes sense when she fights to get held back in school so she can be by his side. I'm pretty sure it's also safe to say she never expected to fall in love with him.
After reading all of the Stacked Deck books, this was a nice ending. The story spans two decades, giving you a front row seat to the Rob and Emma show, a slow burn that elicits cheers when they finally kiss.
This story was happy, sad, sweet, and heartbreaking, with a much needed happily ever after. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to choke someone...
I loved the progression through their lives, and when something happens that tears them apart, I was heartbroken, for both of them, but Rob moreso.
I think the greatest part of this story is the dynamic of Rob and Emma's friendship. The push and pull, give and take. How neither of them feels like they have to change to have their happy ending. And I found, by the end of the book, they were exactly who they were supposed to be, no compromising morals or modified behavior. They were still Rob and Emma.
I can’t believe Busted is the final book of the series, and what a finale! If this was a TV show I would have spent half of my time screaming at the TV, as it was I just did it in my head (and sometimes out loud!). The ups and downs of this story had me smiling, raging and near tears, which actually fell at the very end. I know we will get to see some of the characters again in other books, but it’s sad that this part of the world is complete (for now!). I look forward to starting the journey of the Rosa brothers and getting immersed in this amazing world over again. That’s what this amazing author does with her writing, she immerses you in her characters world so you feel part of it and feel like you actually know each character as an actual person. The dedication to her work shines through and I can only marvel at the speed in which she writes and releases these wonderful stories without ever compromising on the quality of her work. Thank you Emilia, now bring on the Rosas! x
The Busted book is book Eleven of the Stacked Deck Series, a Rollin On series spinoff. This series focuses on the second generation of the characters in The Rollin On series. All by the same author Emilia Finn. Please start with the Rollin On Series, PLEASE. I cannot stress that enough. It is not required, but it makes these so much better. You need all the background from the first series.
This book is long, drawn-out, and seems never-ending in the beginning. This book is set mostly in the past to build on character development, but I was not impressed. This might be the worst of the Stacked Decl books. Rob Hart is Jon and Casey Harts’ son, one of a set of twins. It features his first true love and best friend, EmKat or Emily Kincaid. This book is full of Rob and his distress over EmKat. The character development was good and well thought out; it did not build on the reader's knowledge from previous books but was just dull and unbelievable.
This book has a HEA, and it does not have a cliffhanger.
Busted is Rob’s & EmKat’s book! If there’s one thing I love about the Kincaid’s & Hart’s, it’s their nicknames! ♥️ Ugh, I love these characters so much, it feels like I grew up with them and can’t get enough lol I’m so sad this series has come to an end, but what an ending that was! In this book, we got to see Emma & the twins in their teens and boy what a ride that was! Nothing better than a Hart boy taking the fall for a Kincaid girl through & through. I swear these two were made for each other. It took a few hurdles but they found their way back to each other. And though I’m sad this series has come to an end, I’m looking forward the Rosa men... and I hope we get to see more of the Rollers & Checkmates and their families in the future. I’m here for it all! Thank you Emilia for an amazing series. 😍♥️
This was an intriguing story that will send you on an emotional roller-coaster from beginning to end, with some emotions being much more stronger than others. Just saying!! Lol! I loved the ending, as well as the multiple surprises. It was a terrific ending for this book. It's been said that this book may/may not be the last of this series. I would love to see the rest of the second generation get their own stories. It would certainly add even more chaos to this series! Hopefully soon! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
If you're interested in reading a lot of amazing stories, I highly recommend that you check out the suggested reading order, which is listed in each book. The first series is the Rollin On series, and I guarantee that you'll be hooked from the start. Happy reading!!
I seriously love these characters and I don’t just mean Rob and Emma, I mean all the Rollers! This is the last of the stacked deck series but the Rosa’s are up next and I’m sure we will see some of these characters that we love pop in from time to time. Emma is the star of this book, she has always been the camouflaged peacock, the daredevil and Rob is the protector always there to take the fall for her outrageous stunts. Just when they think everything is going to finally fall into place, things go sideways, and Rob tries to take it all upon himself to fix things, and things go flip flopping all over the place. Thankfully things get sorted out, but not without some heartache, tears, laughter and quite a few punches thrown.
I would give this 10 stars if I could. I completely dragged this one out bc I didn’t want it to leave, and I recorded many MANY thoughts throughout my read. But it. Was. Perfect.
EmKat and Rob Fart are so perfect and all the Kincaids and Harts and Inkalot friends and more. Oof, my heart was so full of love and laughter for this whole bunch. I laughed, I cried, I squealed, and I lost some sleep over this. But I wouldn’t want it any other way.
I never want to leave the Rollers and their world, but I’m so incredibly excited for all the stories to come with the Rosas and whoever else speaks to Emilia.
Now we wait for May for our “Gilded Knights” (the Rosa boys) and two of my (many) faves to come back a bit, Abby and Spencer! Until then 😘
I absolutely hate endings! They always seem so final. What I adore about Emilia 's endings is that they're more like see ya later. So Stacked Deck is done and Rob and Emma have their story... but I will see them in some future story! Rob is so very different from Luke. Emma is so very different from all the other roller girls, even her mom... but maybe she's like a mix of Kit, Bobby, and Tina with a little JDH thrown in. Lol. I love her. She is probably my favorite girl in the series! Rob is up there. He's loyal to a fault and sometimes takes too long to think. But Christmas morning and the last chapter... oh so much my favorite parts of this whole series! Im gonna go reread!
First of all, like all of emilia's books. This was well written and well edited. I love jumping into roller world and getting to know new characters, but... Quit reading here if you don't want a spoiler as vague as it is...
There's a baby scare. These as a general rule turn me off a book, like for real, I skimmed about 10% of this book to just get through it. It's a testament to Emilia's skill and world building that I didn't put it down as soon as the affected character dropped her baby bomb. As much as I love emilia, this was the hardest of her books for me to read. She writes great fiction, she writes great characters, but the baby bombs happen once a series and I have to power through.
Ok so as previous reviews stack deck hasn’t been my favourite...but I have enjoyed reading about the town I’ve been invested in for a while. I like most of the characters as well, just wish they got a decent story.
I liked Rob Hart as I did Luke and wished it centred around their families and not the kincaids. Jon and TINK weren’t in this book as much as I would have liked. I mean Bobby sticks his nose in all the time giving advice when Jon says nothing and with Rob being his son I would have liked it if he was the one dishing fatherly advice!
Kinda guessed the way the story was going to play out but there were some twists and turns. Books so short though as were all the others and it ends as soon as they are a couple.
What an amazing ending to the Stacked Deck Series! Throughout the previous books you see small pieces of the Hart Twins and Emma, but holy socks, this was such an explosive conclusion. My heart hurt and cried as if I was right beside them experiencing all they were experiencing. I loved how Emilia brought all the years of love and family back together for this final episode (for now). The talent and true calling to write this Roller World never ceases to amaze me. I can’t wait for the next book and series to begin to see where we grow with the next round because if there is one thing I’ve seen over and over is the ability for Emilia to grow a world we all want to be a part of!
I could rewrite a raving review for every single book Emilia Finn has written. I could probably tell you why that book is “MY FAVORITE”! I could jump from power couple to power couple to tell you why they are the best, but in the end, I will end up finally choosing Rob and Emma. Their love was written before they were born and strong enough to conquer all. So much from this story hit home but nothing more than being told a test on your baby came back abnormal. The waiting for results to know what you steps you needed to make to make sure your baby had everything they needed in life. Rob, you stole my heart!

Wow, what an amazing journey Emilia Finn, Took us on with the Stacked Deck series. We finally got answers to a lot of questions in this last book of the series. Never disappointed in every book of hers, Keeps getting better and better. This one really touched on the heart strings, it will make you tear up if not cry at times, you will definitely laugh so much through the book and feel like your heart is breaking at others times. The antics these families get into is also a hoot. Cant wait until her new series comes out. Thank you Emilia Finn. For such an amazing journey starting with the Rollin On series and beyond.
OMG. Rob & EmKats emotional Rollercoaster was something else. Lol moments and times when I wanted to reach through the pages to shake some sense into Rob. Bobby's meltdowns about his girls doing the 'thing'. I LOLd so much. 'We're going to church' made me about ROFLOL. Rob is one of the Hart twins and has his 'Twin devil' rap mostly d/t Emma and her antics during their younger years. I could feel the pull they had toward each other on every page and this BFF to lovers story was a great way to end the Stacked Deck series. PS: I couldn't put the book down and read it in one sitting well into the weee hrs off the night. Lol
I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is book 11 of the Stacked Deck Series.
Triggers:
Spoilers: Emma, daughter of Kit and Bobby (Findin Home, Rollin On Series b1) grew up with twins Luke and Rob but has always been Robs best friend. Interested in Rob but he doesn't seem to notice.
Rob, twin to Luke (Dynamite Stacked Deck Series b10), son of Jon and Casey (Findin Redemption Rollin On Series b5), people think he's the instigator of the trouble they find themselves in.
OW drama, lots of angst, tears, sexy times. I'm sad this is the final book (for now)
For a while I was confused on the timeline because I have read all this series of books in order. I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get to live in their world of loving each other for as long as I would of liked, but I understand why the author had it happen this way. You get to see the love the characters truly hold for each other. You read about the best and worst of them too. I was happy to find out who did all the crimes talked about in so many other books. I always enjoy reading any book by Emilia Finn because she connects all of her books together in sometimes the smallest ways and it makes the world feel whole in the Roller world
Oh this book did not disappoint. I started at the moment it dropped at midnight and finished today! Emma was the perfect combination of so many Kincaids, as we got to visit Piper’s Lane, the gym, and got to see so many others- the Alexi family, Chuck, Luke/Ally, Bry/Madi, Tink/Jon, Kit/Bobby, Alyssa, Brooklyn. Emma was a fun part of the previous book and she was the real deal in this one as well! I highlighted a zillion funny things she said/did! So so sad for this series to end. Thank you Emilia for this world!!
I was all set to savor thos book. Make it last. Being the last. But I couldn't stop. I had to finish. Rob is one half of the devil twins. But he really isn't a devil. He is the very best friend to Emma Kincade and always takes the blame for all her idiotic actions. She is the trouble maker. But he is her protector. And so much more. I sad the series is over. But I am glad how it ended up. I love each and every book. And all the characters. Absolutely amazing.
Don't cry because it's over smile because it happened. I know that is how the saying goes but screw that, I did cry!!!😭 ❤ As always, I also laughed and swooned throughout the book too! 🥰 Busted was another amazing wild roller coaster and the fact that you ended the series with it was perfection. Kit and Tink's BFF plan from 5 years old was epic! Letting Uncle Jack have a meaningful scene was so sweet too. Loved, loved it! Thank you for creating one of my favorite book universes Emilia! 💋
Wow, what a way to end the series. The Rolling on Family just grew by leaps and bounds and as always we were front and center to watching it happen. Never to disappoint the ending for the Stacked Deck series was as explosive as the first. I love hanging with the OGs and learning of the shenanigans as we watch the younger generation create their lives and families and everything comes full circle. Bobby and Jon never agreed on anything but Kit and Tink kept the promise they made when they were only 5! Love it! Can’t wait for the next series.
Epic... this series is epic! From story 1 to 36 Emilia has brought to life a world that we can’t get enough of. The way she weaves story after story , the surprises & laughter , the triumphs the heartbreak perfection in every way! I’m so lucky I stumbled onto Finding home what seems so long ago and have traveled this series with Emilia and the crew! I can say Busted was the best way to end this entire series a fantastic final lap around pipers lane that checkered flag is all yours Emilia!
There really aren't words to describe how satisfying the final book of the Stacked Deck series is. Emilia Finn has created a world that we all want to live in and never leave but if it has to come to an end, this was the way to do it! The original Bryan Kincaid's dream of a family legacy has come true in ways not even he could have imagined. And I think he would be ok for this Kincaid to give up the name for Hart. Because when a Kincaid knows, they know, even if it starts when they are too young to realize it. Bravo Ms. Finn, bravo!
