When she walks into the bar she calls me by some other guys name, then sits on my lap and kisses me...I think I finally believe in the magic of Christmas.
Turns out, she just needed me to be her fake boyfriend, but when her lips planted on mine? There was nothing fake about it.
Things get a little sticky when she walks in the conference room the next morning and we are on opposite sides of a lawsuit. One second, she’s treating me like the enemy, and the next?
We’re doing things in the back of my limousine that make me thankful for blackout windows. Only, I’m in town for one reason only.
That’s to ruin Christmas. Unless, Santa can deliver us a Christmas miracle.
This Christmas will be hotter than ever with four new standalones by four of your favorite romance authors! Light the fire, grab a glass of wine, and settle into your favorite chair for A Cozy AF Christmas!
Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.
Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.
So, sit back, banish the real world and get lost in some over the top romance with a heaping helping of hot. xoxoxo
A New York Cynical lawyer who hates Christmas and a small town curvy, kind hearted sweet girl , this was so cute Nikolas was besotted from the 1st sight and Missy couldn't resist him 🤗 3 years later epilogue with Pregnant h was naughty and cute at the same time ❤
I love when the stories i read are set in Michigan! This one was extra exciting because it was set in the little town of Holly, which is only about 10 or 15 miles from where I live! Dani Wyatt described the feel of the town perfectly! The story itself is a feel good big Christmas hating alpha male turned Christmas loving sap with the love of his one.
Completely safe and free of abuse and cheating. No ow/om drama, no others after meeting, celibate hero and virgin heroine
I've been craving cute little holiday stories. I was browsing Kindle Unlimited and I picked this on a whim. I really like the opposite attracts trope and I liked the idea of a holiday town. It didn't start off terribly, though the dominating way the hero acted during sexy-times was a little off-putting. I don't necessarily have an issue with it, they just came up quick and it seemed a little over the top for how little they knew each other.
But then around the 80% mark the hero turns into a jealous asshole. He literally punches a guy because the heroine is talking to him, then determines he can never let her out of his sight again. This was a rich, urbane attorney from New York? Big Nope for me. I ended up skimming from there because I was so annoyed. I don't think I'll try another book in this series.
It just failed to hold my attention and neither main character really drew me in. Also, what the blurb fails to mention is that it's not just a kiss in a bar, but that the heroine . THEN they have the "chance" meeting the next day as opposing attorneys on the same lawsuit. I'm not a huge fan of that trope so that's partially what turned me off.
Maybe I'll try it again next holiday season because I usually enjoy Dani Wyatt's work.
This was all packed with the heat Dani Wyatt usually writes but in a lighter spirit, full of heartwarming moments and details. They all made this a perfect short read before Christmas!
Missy is being pursed by an annoying co-worker hard, to get him to leave her alone she tells him she’s meeting her boyfriend in the bar after their office Christmas party. Seeing a man sitting by himself she goes over to him and hugs him while whispering for him to play along. Nicholas is happy to play along with the curvy beauty. The co-worker leaves and Nik has a drink with Missy, when she is clearly very drunk he takes her up to his room to sleep. The next morning when Missy wakes up she can’t believe she is in her underwear laying next to the guy who helped her last night, afraid of waking him she sneaks out and heads home. Dealing with a hangover she gets ready for a big meeting her client has requested to help save their business from a big corporation. At her law office she heads to the conference room and comes face to face with the fake boyfriend from last night. Nik is enjoying seeing her again and teasing her about leaving without saying bye. All Missy wants to know is what happened, she can’t remember anything after they had their drink, everything is black. He tells her he will tell her what happened last night if she goes to lunch with him. The talk about the case they are on opposite sides of and he tells her nothing happened, she fell asleep. After she describes what she drank and how she felt, Nik thinks that she was drugged. They kiss again and fool around on the ride back to her office and later see each other again when she goes to pick her sister up. Nik has been invited to their house for dinner and will be staying at her house since the in is all booked up and he lost his room to the next guest. He enjoys his time with her family very much, further highlighting how he really missed out on family and holidays since his mother died when he was a baby and his dad did not celebrate the holidays. The big corporation will be taking over the land but an endangered species maybe their only chance to save the land. But Missy says she can not fight alone, Nik says he will help her. He quits his job and will work for himself and give her all the help she needs. Their sexy times were super hot, Missy is a virgin and Nik has been celibate for a long time. Epilogue three years later with them pregnant and with a new law practice. They end up saving the land for her clients.

Fantastic last book of the series they say opposites attract and they certainly do between Missy and Nikolas. Nikolas falls hard and fast for Missy he has never felt anything like it all he has ever known is work and now finding Missy and spending time with her family has completely changed him he is liking Christmas and tells his father he is having a Christmas his first one in many years. Missy can’t believe how drawn she is to Nikolas they are fighting on different sides of this law case but it doesn’t make any difference he then spends the evening with her parents and fits in so much that he quits his families law firm and sets his own up here in Holly.
I kind of loved this story. It was short, steamy, and unexpectedly sweet while still being entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. I really loved how Melissa (Missy) helped Nik kind of wake up to how things could be. Nik was all-in really quickly while Missy was thinking that it was just a fling. I loved how Nik told Missy that they were more. Nik and Missy had a wonderful happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.
Enjoyed reading the love story between Missy and Nikolas. Opposite position lawyers, who would think of love with these two. It started with him unknowingly helping her get away from a guy hitting on her at a Christmas party. It snowballed into them falling in love. Overall they ended up working together and things worked out well. Thanks for a good book. Written by Cindy :)
Missy and Nikolas are on opposite sides of a lawsuit but may just be right for each other. Trying to avoid the advances of a co-worker Missy pretends that a stranger is her boyfriend. Sparks fly. Little does she know he is her enemy in a lawsuit. Can the two of them get past their work issues and open themselves up to love?
I enjoyed reading this story. It was kinda all over the place because they thought they were true opposites. But, lust and love can change even the coldest of hearts. That part I liked. Zero to sixty, funny, but it was most appropriate for this story. I enjoyed the epilogue too.
“Here’s to finding your one and only in the least likely place possible.”~Nikolas Snow
Our Mr Scrooge is not really a grinch. He didn’t experience the magic of Christmas that’s why., and he experienced all that with Missy who turned out to be his opposing counsel and his one and only.
I guess Paula Abdul knew a little singing something when she sang about opposites attracting. I have to admit I wasn't sure Nicholas was going to have enough redeeming qualities to make me like him and feel he was good enough for Missy. But Dani wove her magic and in the end their story was just what the holidays order.
Missy may have met Nikolas under less than auspices circumstances but their differences make them fit. One kiss and Nikolas falls, Missy is everything he is missing in his boring workaholic life. This book is sexy and sweet and a wonderful holiday tale.
I've never read anything from this author before, but I love the other writers in the Cozy AF series, so I bought this one too. I am so excited to discover a new steamy author to read. This book was so cozy and spicy to get lost in.
Loved this story. Nikolas and Missy meet in a bar when she rushes to him and pretends to know him. Little did they know that would be the start of forever with them. A great sweet holiday read.
Soo soo good and soo soo H.O.T🔥🔥 I absolutly loved it! I love Nikolas and Missy they're perfect together!I hope Javier his going to get his story too?😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰
I loved this book. The unexpected meeting turns into a happily ever after. This was short and steamy read. Looking forward to reading more from this author
Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I’m not usually a big fan of lawyers as one or both of the main characters, but this one turned out to be sweet and based in a small town.
This was exceptionally good. Characters, the dialogue is all excellent. I don't think I've ever read her before but I will be looking into more of her books
But it's cool because it does make you feel good. The small town lawyer fighting the big city lawyer over corporate greed and bulldozing people's lives. I enjoyed reading it. It had a fun storyline, definitely a memorable meet cute going on, plus it was easy as all get out too! It was easy to read fast because I didn't want to put it down!
