The world soldiered on steadily rejoicing in the newly created technologies afforded by the invention of the first successful quantum computer. The computing power of this new platform allowed for the creation of Autodrive systems for vehicles, multi-function computing glass, and namely Artificial Intelligence. This perfect storm of ideas allowed Larry Lagerman, a low-level programmer at QUAINT Industries, to ignite the wildfire that would sweep across the globe as he accidentally stumbled across mankind’s greatest invention. The teleporter was the most recent brain child of his now missing good friend Dean, the genius level father of Artificial Intelligence. DAAV, Dean’s AI, befriends Larry and the rest of the Teleporter Prototype Lab team, as they struggle to bring to life the new technology left behind by their missing colleague. However, once the dream of a functional teleporter is realized, the team quickly comes to terms with the notion that the world may not be ready for such a technology, and that humanity may have just be sent down a path of destruction and chaos. Can Larry and DAAV prevent the downfall of society as mankind struggles to adapt to man’s greatest invention of instantaneous teleportation, or will civilization be lost to the economic juggernaut that is the teleporter?
