Cute but other than Lumis the Perv, not a lot happened. Oh, and the MC H being an adorable CinnaRoll. MC h is kind of clueless re: her love interest’s interest, but she’s young yet.
4, the Perv needs to GO, stars.

But goodness, that ending hurts just as much as it did the first time!
And the opening was just as explosive as the first time!!
I loved every moment of this! Well, except with that one guy who is a total creep, and good riddance if we never see him again!
Something that I appreciated more from this reread is how the magic is woven into the story. It's an everyday occurrence for Aurora and love how it's naturally part of her passion and what she does day to day.
And Clavis…excuse me while I swoon! He is the perfect knight and I hope he will win Aurora's heart because if these two don't continue to grow closer, I will cry! LOL!
Original Review 1/23/23: GAH! I AM DESPERATE FOR BOOK FOUR'S RELEASE!!!!
These two continue to be as adorable as ever, though I could "argue" that even more so in this volume specifically because they both now officially have realized how much they care for the other. Seeing the developments of their feelings and those feelings truly bloom (especially for Aurora) has been such a beautiful delight to read and see unfold. I deeply enjoy this couple and want the best and happiest of things for them!
But that ending…
I honestly was afraid this was going to go a love triangle route, but it doesn't look like that is going to be the case. (And thank goodness! That one guy is indeed a perv and creep.) I feel that what is offered instead of a potential love rival vying for Aurora's affection is definitely much more enchanting. She is now going to have to take a very honest look at her feelings and what exactly she wants to do moving forward. Felix, I am 100% cheering for you!
Another cliffhanger ending which has me in agony that the next volume doesn't release until May, but I was so happy with this volume. This series has been a gem of a read and absolutely love it! Cannot wait to read the next volume because I know it will continue to sweep me off my feet in a continued trail of giddiness!
There’s more tension and conflict in this volume than volume 2, thankfully. But still not enough for me. I feel like Aurora is going to make a very quick and obvious choice.
If I was Aurora, I would’ve stomped on Yule until I needed new shoes.
I really enjoy watching the two main characters interacting together. There's a charming tenderness to the way Felix treats Aurora. I think she's rather clueless, but somebody in the relationship usually needs to be in these kind of stories. I am curious about the role of the antagonist being a career choice rather than a villain to defeat. It's kind of interesting, and frankly closer to the kind of things that happen in the real world. How many of us have had to choose between our life goals and our partners? Or somehow find a happy medium so that both sides have a type of compromise between the needs of a couple versus the needs of our career or dreams? In this way I find it a fun spin on a common story.
Continuing the previous volume left off, Aurora is by a rival of Felix's. The crown Princess gets involved but Aurora also comments making the situation over quickly.
In this volume, Aurora and Felix start to develop feelings for each other, where she thinks of him often while at her summer home and Felix asks some of his soldiers to gage when and why they asked their girl's hand in marriage. One responds that they he didn't want her to swept off by someone else. Felix decides he will ask Aurora after their audience with the Prince. During this time, she is offered a position among the high mages where she will be able to embroider ancient patters unfortunately because of how secretive they are, Aurora will not be able to have any contact with the outside world for at least a year.
Next volume we will find out what she says as a response once she has taken time to think about it. She still love embroidery but her mind is now also taken up by a certain someone.

This is Book 3 of the manga series "The Fiancee Chosen by the Ring" by Jyun Hayase. In this volume, Aurora goes on a retreat and is separated from Felix. During this time, each of them realize how much they miss the other. Is it love? Felix saved Aurora, or so he thought, from Yule Lumis, but right before he reached her, she had already beaten the daylights out of Lumis. Now, Lumis is infatuated with Aurora, and he wants her to stomp on him and beat him up some more. What will Aurora do? Will Felix allow this to occur? The Crown Prince and the Head Sage are enthralled with Aurora's magically infused embroidery. They want her to join the Magical Tower. However, if she does, she will have to leave her family and won't be able to marry Felix for a few years because everything that goes on in the Tower is Top Secret. Will Aurora enter the Tower or stay with Felix? Felix wants to marry her, but he hasn't told her yet. Will he confess his love for her before it is too late? I gave this book 5 stars.
Can we start that I didn't like how Aurora just brushed the attempted rape away like that? I wanted her to speak up, tell the princess about her fears and how she was lured here. But no, she brushes it off as a drunken incident. WHAT THE FUCK. No. EWW. That is just so wrong. Plus, Lumis wanting to get stomp on?? And then also suddenly professing interest in Aurora. YUCK. Nope. Nope. NOPE. Not into that. Lumis can just fuck off. Thankfully, the rest of the volume is much better. With Felix and Aurora having cute moments together (I love how he thinks about her and tries to make every moment perfect, like at the cafe with him giving her his special coffee). I love seeing Aurora fall more in love with him. I love the embroidery stuff and seeing her get much better and learn about her magic. But yeah, she has to make a choice now. Tower and learn more, or marry Felix.
the romance is blossoming!!! felix and aurora are getting REAL BLUSHY AND CUTE. also, I just love the art style here, it’s too gorgeous.
my big complaint here is that freaking lumis gets away with literally attempting to sexually assault or rape aurora…?!?!? I’m just so confused why he is still a character, and she even tries to downplay what he did. come on, what even is that….I really hope he appears in less scenes moving forward because I’m sick of him.

Loved it! Their relationship just gets cuter and cuter! In this volume, Aurora and Felix are beginning to develop real feeling for each other after they spend some time apart for the summer. This volume was just so wholesome. To combat their feelings of loneliness, they begin to write letters to each other and Felix even comes to visit Aurora at her summer home! In this volume we even get to see their first date! Normally I am not a big fan of super slow burns, but the way this one is playing out is just too adorable. Can’t wait it pick up and start reading the next volume!
This series is such a delight! I really am so excited to see the progression of the romance in this volume, and to see that both of our characters are in it for more than the convenience we see in the first volume. They are truly adorable together, and I can't wait to see what is to come in the future of the series.
This story is deeper than it appears at first, little more complex. But it’s such a slow pace and the price is so expensive. It’s hard to keep purchasing it. I feel like the character depths… they’re making his develop. Very interesting personalities. We’ll see.
Really am enjoying this series, even with a very slow burn romance. I just wish that Lumis weren't here at all. He adds literally nothing to the story, just shows up to be creepy for a few minutes.
Still a delight but we're heading into bad-communication waters! I love love love our rival's turn about in this volume, twas hilarious & unexpected. Can't wait for book 4!
This was adorable! I just love Felix and Aurora, they're the cutest! The art is gorgeous, the romance is fantastic, and the story is interesting. The best kind of romance fantasy imo. 5 stars.
Escaping from the party intact leads into the summer and going to the country, there are further talks with the prince about her embroidery, Felix's men worry about their commander and who can give him advice, the Tower where special magic studies are conducted, and more.
