Ethan is a Lieutenant in the Marines, a Raider. Leah is a lawyer. After ten tears will the sparks still fly?
Ethan sees his ex-love Leah at Marcus and June's wedding and he wants to speak to her. However, he sees an engagement ring on her finger. He knows he is still in love with her but now he thinks it's too late. So he asks her to dance to explain his reasons for leaving, but she shuts him down. So he has to find another way, and it arises when Marcus asks him to go help her set up her law office instead of him. She is shocked seeing him show up, so he had to do some fast talking and make a sincere apology. Now they both know what went wrong and the answers were not what the other expected. Eventually their chemistry got the best of them, they started dating again, a few months later he asked her to marry him again. And she accepted.
I really love the story and can't wait to hear about their wedding. First Marcus, then Ethan. Which Trenton man is next? Five stars.

Ethan hasn't seen Leah Beechwood in ten years. They were high school sweethearts until he broke her heart. Now they are both back in Charleston and neither has stopped loving the other, although Leah isn't ready to admit that yet.
Since their romance was started so long ago, I don't mind this story being shorter. They already have the history established. Ethan shows quite a romantic side when he decides he will do whatever it takes to be with Leah again.
Leah for her part did a pretty good job at holding Ethan at bay. She is a strong, confident lawyer but still crumbles at the chemistry she still has with Ethan.

Ethan made a mistake 10 years ago and lost the love of his life. When he sees Leah again at his brother's wedding, will he get a second chance with her? I liked this small town romance. The situations feel realistic and the dual POV make the characters motivations and actions clear. The reader is drawn into the emotions of anguish and longing felt by both these likable people and its easy to wish them a HEA. This is a short, emotional, thoughtful and passionate story. 4 stars

Ethan has a lot to do to make up for his prior mistake. He will do anything to get Leah back. Leah fights him along the way to keep her heart from getting broken again by her first and only love. Will Leah give in and give Ethan another chance? Or will she keep him at a distance. You need to read this story to see the prior things done and the outcome of Ethan's hard work to win Leah's heart back.

Ethan and Leah were a couple in school, got engaged but separated just before they were to get married. Leah headed to college, law school and has worked as a lawyer, still so mad at him for leaving without a reason. Ethan continued in the marines and has advanced quite far in ten years. Suspense builds as they meet at their best friends wedding, but she would not even dance with him. Moving back home to start up her own practice, Ethan crosses paths with her a lot, because of their family and friends. They can be quite pushy sometimes. Nature takes its course and their emotions and feelings are back to full strength quickly. Lots of talking and spending time together builds the bond back up that they had, and at one simple baseball game it all breaks into a future they both want desperately together. Such a wonderful ending. Can not wait for the story of the next brother.

ONE INTENSE READ!!! Whoa! Fast and furious is definitely the way to go. Yep, talk about falling hard. I do not even know where to begin. I thought the last book was fantastic. Again, this is an unexpected delight in itself. I know, I can not make up my mind. So choose them all. You can not go wrong here, trust me on that. This is a page-turner, smooth flowing wild ride with all the thrills and explosions you can handle.

I received this ARC for a review. I enjoyed it, it was good but Marcus was a little better. As always I love how these series follow a family, the Trenton brothers and how they find their happily ever after's.
This one is about Ethan, he is a decorated marine. He made some mistakes in his youth with his childhood sweetheart. Now she is back in town and he wants to right his wrongs and hopefully win back her heart. Leah is a successful lawyer who went to some prestigious schools. She is so nice and everyone in town believes that she is too good for Ethan.
I just love the Trenton brothers and their parents, who raised them so well.
You have to know the wrongs Ethan has made and how he is going to fix them and win Leah's heart...again!

ETHAN is the second story in Alexis Ashlie’s Trenton Family Heroes and one of second chances to right hurtful and heartbreaking wrongs. A good storyline and plot with plenty of angst, but not so much drama that is consumes the book. Once again family are a huge element to this story and their presence plays a pivotal part. I did however struggle again with the poor editing and the multitude of missing words which became distracting. These stories could definitely be extended, but first they need better editing or some Beta readers.

I loved how fiery Leah was and didn't give in to Ethan easily but wow you can't fight that type of attraction they have for long. I enjoyed getting to know them and seeing them dance around their feelings and at times I just wanted to shake them both and get them to realise that they are soo meant to be together. Even though it is a quick read there are plenty of laughs, steamy attraction, frustrations and a story that has you turning the page to make sure they do get their happy ever after!

I was so very excited to have received a arc copy of Ethan book #2 in the Trenton family series . Alexis is becoming one Of my very favorite authors. This series keeps getting better with every book . Ethan and Lea , I absolutely loved them together , so much chemistry and love between those 2 as well as a deep connection. One of my favorite things about this series so far is how important family and Love Is to these men . This is a very steamy , second chance romance . With a curvy woman and a very hot soldier . I loved this book so much 📚📚📚📚📚

This was a cute second chance romance. To be honest, I understand totally why Leah doesn't want to give Ethan a second chance. And Ethan really needed to work harder to regain her trust. However this was a sweet story without any new drama. And I did love the sense of family and friends in this novel.

A good short read with an interesting story line. Had the author wished it could easily have been padded out to make a longer novel but all the key parts were there, the romance just seemed to progress rapidly. Interesting characters, love the idea of the Trenton family and I’m keen to read the remaining brothers stories.

Ethan, book 2 in the Trenton Family Heroes Series is an interesting story with an OTT Alpha male protector and a sweet, curvy woman. This is a steamy, curvy woman, hot soldier, second chance romance. I absolutely love the the characters and the storyline. This must reas story is a well-written Second Chance book with characters with history and and a good scenes. I cannot wait for the next book.

This was a rather quick read. I found it to be a rather decent story with a great plot, fantastic backstory and decent characters. I zipped through this story rather quickly and was a little sad to see it end. There were hints to the next installment in the series. I look forward to the next story.

This was a great second chance romance between high school sweethearts. Ethan is a marine and Leah is an attorney now. They reconnect when Leah moves back to their hometown but is she ready to forgive Ethan for their past? This book is sweet, funny, and steamy. Loved getting to know these characters and I look forward to more books about the Trenton brothers.

It’s a short and easy to read second chance romance Ethan and Leah meet again after ten years and their reunion is rocky but love wins out and they get their HEA. This was very entertaining and sexy. Nice story about second chances. Leah is an attorney and decided to move back home. Ethan is in the military and home on leave between missions. When Ethan left her at the altar when they were 18, she never forgave him. But becoming friends and working together helps. HEA. I enjoyed Ethan & Leah's book. Good characters. It was a fun, entertaining read. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

It was ok, too short. He breaks up with her a week before the wedding by text...we don’t get to read that moment...the story is like the first superficial with zero depth
