Not a long read, but with a nice plot and things to think about. Also, I was charmed by the original writing style of the author.
This novel is written in letters, from Prince to our MC and back. It is a very different experience, to read it like that. My interest was piqued from the first chapters and I stayed all night just to read it. So engaging. So intriguing and interesting. I never expected to go this deep when I picked it. But I like this result.
This novel has a plot, part of which can be discovered in advance if you think carefully about all the clues, but it's not a bad thing. I was really shocked by the reviled truths and why did I not guess it?? maybe because I was too engrossed in reading the novel and living it like the characters, not the reader.
There was not a lot or drama, but where it was - it was good. Not dog blood or just drama for the sake of drama. Which is good, imho.
Can't say I as entirely happy with the ending, but it was good enough and answered all of the questions. And I didn't expected to get this deep of the plot, honestly.
Totally recommend, as a nice story for cozy time and a nice reading experience with its unique writing style.
