Everything is Going to Be Okay

Rate this book
Amanda led a fairly ordinary life, until she met Damian. He swept her off her feet, whisked her away on exotic holidays, wined and dined her in expensive restaurants and showered her with compliments. But lurking beneath the charming exterior were sinister secrets Damian had been carrying since childhood, secrets that slowly began to surface. Two sons and a failed marriage later, nothing could have prepared her for the extent of her ex-husband’s deception. The truth starts to emerge, one December evening, when Amanda’s eldest boy Lewis reveals why he is so scared of his father. About the author Samantha is a devoted mother to two wonderful boys, however she cannot name them due to legal reasons. Due to unforeseen events, she is now a campaigner intent on exposing the corruption and malpractice within Britain’s secret family courts, who are failing children time and time again and costing many children their lives. The family court use a balance of probabilities, meaning that solid evidence is often ignored and the court make absurd findings without a shred of evidence. Child abuse victims are often not believed, with protective parents being vilified. In some tragic and all too frequent cases, children are removed from their protective parent and forced by the state to live with their abuser. Everything is going to be okay is Samantha’s first book.

It normally takes me months to read a book. I could not put this down and read it in two days.
Gut wrenching, but a MUST read. The story of one woman's horrors, a mothers worst ever nightmare unfolding before her very eyes.
This book totally captivated me from the start. It is written absolutely flawlessly, the most unbelievable account of being let down by every single agency that is there to protect us.
It completely exposes every part of the corruption of the state that happens, yet we would never know it. Not only do you need to read this book to comprehend and understand what goes on, but everyone needs to read this to educate yourself to understand what can happen to any ordinary person, living a normal life. Thrown into the horrors of the 'system' that is there to protect children and families.
Well done for writing this brave, accurate and gut wrenching account.
I salute this lady for finding the courage to write this, and for exposing all those in power that have let her and her children down.
This book is so well written, you will not want to put it down. I urge everyone to buy and read it and see for yourself exactly what has happened. Well done brave warrior lady!

If you care about the welfare and protection of children from any and all forms of abuse, then read this book. Samantha, in her first novel, writes clearly with courage, conviction and the emotions of a protective and loving mother. Based on true events, this story seeks to expose the corruption of the family courts and the associated agencies that are supposed to protect children.

I have known about Sam's story for a few months and I felt I had to read her book, to bear witness. Sam is a mother just like me and you. she describes in detail, the little things in the life of a mother caring for her boys, that tell you everything you need to know about what a good mum she is.

The hardest thing about reading this book is knowing the ending, and every time she described the ways her husband manipulated her and through the book you are willing her not to date him, not to marry him and to leave him. Yet, I can see how easily any woman could be taken in by his narcissistic manipulative personality. It's also possible that he identified Sam before he met her as a good candidate as a mother to provide him with children he could abuse.

When she describes the early days of their first dates etc,it just seemed that he knew a few things about her and made her think they had so much in common and worked hard to ingratiate himself into her trust.

It was clear that at each stage in their relationship after he had got her to move in with him, marry him, got her pregnant etc, he couldn't be bothered to try and pretend he liked her, but also with him being a narcissist and manipulative, she was taken in and the relationship also sounds like it was emotionally abusive. So she could have lost a lot of confidence, as happens in such relationships.

What was so heart-rending was that she reported her sons abuse, as any mother would, and it is so clear that people in positions of power: police, social workers, the family courts and the judge were corrupt and colluded to take the boys away from a safe loving mother and award custody to a father that was sexually abusing them.

All the way through the court case, I was thinking why did they not back their claims up with evidence, they didn't search the fathers home, they didn't search his parents home, didn't search his friends homes and laptops, etc. There were accusations made about Sam and about her mother by the defendants lawyer which were baseless with no evidence.

The abuse reported by the boys is satanic ritual abuse, the worse kind of abuse and it was clear the extremely disturbing reports from the boys was not taken seriously and indeed the establishment players: police, judge, social workers etc could be deemed to be part of a cover up.

The fact that the social worker and police suggested the boys made up the stories because they were outlandish, no children at those ages know about the things they described, why was this not investigated properly?

The judge seemed biased and sided with he defendant in ways that are not acceptable.

I hope that Sam gets justice soon and her boys are returned safe to her and her ex husband and other perpetrators are tried for their crimes. Let truth prevail and dark come to light. I pray that this happens.

I recommend buying this book to support Sam and also to gain an understanding of how abusers groom and manipulate and how the state, supports, enables, and colludes with them to cover up their crimes.

And for anyone who isn't aware of what Satanists are like, I can tell you that any poor reviews here are written by Satanists, that don't want the despicable things they do to children to come to light, so there's a reason to read this book. The more people are aware, and the more the truth comes to like the harder it is for them to commit their crimes.

This book is an amazing read, it will have you captivated from the start. It will not only break your heart, but will open your eyes! To the signs of this secret abuse, and also to the depth of injustice and corruption still happening to date in Rochdale.
A very well written book, and would recommend it to all!!!

Brilliant book by Samantha Baldwin who is a lovely, beautiful and honest lady. This book brings into sharp focus the very real corruption of police, secret family court, judges and Satanic Ritual Abuse that is not always allowed to be spoken of and kept hidden in the shadows, either because of people's ignorance, they're involved themselves or for some, its just to horrific to comprehend that the most innocent and vulnerable of our society are not protected as they should be and this needs bringing into the light and stopped. I wish Samantha and her family all success and happiness

This book is an emotional read but I urge everyone to read it. The awful realisation of what the family court, police and social services can do to children and loving parents is terrifying, all to protect their own. Children left at the mercy of their abuser, their voices ignored is something any decent parent would want to change....this book may well be the catalyst.

My opinions are after reading this very interesting story about a mother losing her two children after she seeks help in the family courts justice system. To discover she's been satanicly snared by an invisible shroud of evil.

Highly recommended read for any one whose lives are or have been affected by SRA..😇

Heart stopping, gripping, desperately sad TRUE story of a mother's battle to save/protect her children after they disclose their paedofile father and other members of satanic cult have been drugging and sexually abusing them! Let down not only by the man she trusted more than anyone in the world, but also shockingly let down by a corrupt family court, this story will have you hooked from the first few pages and unable to put it down - desperate to find out what happens. Please don't hesitate to buy this incredibly well written book! You won't regret it! And You will no doubt question everything you thought you knew about the legal system we thought was designed to protect our children!!

Absolutely heartbreaking and the strength of Samatha is mind blowing ! It definitely will save lives and gives many clues on what to look out for with your child or children you know or work with when it comes to being forced to be kept silenced about child abuse. This needs to stop and thank the Lord for Samatha being so brave and being able to speak out. A mother's love is a force to be reckoned with !

I read the book in 2 days. Gripping but not just that; the emotion was related by Sam in a beautiful way. As a mother I could feel what she was going through and that as a mother whose children were telling her that they had been abused in such a horrific way I understand entirely how she tried to protect her boys in the way she did. She took the seemingly right way; police law, courts. She did the right thing. They let her down, big time!
What is a parent to do then huh?

Well done Samantha 👏👏👏. I pray your boys hear everything you have done and are doing for them!

Great read. Thoroughly recommend!!

This is an absolute must read!
It's heartbreaking and extremely harrowing, but there's also a certain degree of humour and warmth.
It usually takes me ages to read a book, as I get bored very easily. However, I read this in a few days.
Amanda Taylor is put in an impossible situation. Protect her boys and go to the authorities, or do nothing and protect a paedophile!
She chooses the former and is let down at every turn.
This is a very well written book and opens your eyes to the horrors of satanic ritual abuse, as well as the inadequacies of the people who are supposed to protect us.

This is a hard book for me to review as I’ve met Samantha before and have followed her personal story, so it’s hard for me to say what I think about this as a piece of fiction when all I’m feeling is respect for her courage to share this story.

Everything Is Going To Be Okay does a brilliant job of bringing this issue of sexual abuse to light but also of providing details on the warning signs to be looking out for. I applaud her for her efforts in raising awareness about such a heart-aching issue that can often go unspoken about. It’s stories like this that will give people the courage to discuss their own experiences, and also for the family court to learn about their wrongdoings and see the gaps in their care.

As a piece of fiction, I would have maybe wanted this book to be more delicate in how the boys’ truth comes out as it feels quite brash in the details of their experience, shocking more than emotionally connected you to the story. But this isn’t a made-up story that’s written with the aim of tugging at your heartstrings. It isn’t a sensitive subject that can be glossed over and, saddest of all, stories like this don’t always have a happy ending.

Instead, the purpose of Samantha’s book is to make you see the reality of how these situations play out, how the truth coming out feels like a disaster striking rather than an emotional confession. It’s appalling what has happened to this family, and to the families of many others who have likely experienced something similar. There are so many injustices in the court system and this is one of the worst examples.

Thank you, Samantha, for writing this book.

Heartbreaking and disturbingly accurate!

This was heartbreaking and a terrifyingly accurate portrayal of how family courts can fail our vulnerable children, it doesn't always end like this, but the fact is has and still continues too is not acceptable. Child protection is everybody's responsibility. Innocent parents and children should not have to live in fear of authorities who's role it is to protect them. The writer articulates her pain and grief, whilst educating much needed awareness to those who are fortunate to have never been abused by the system that is supposed to protect. I hope with all I have this family is reunited soon!

Heartbreakingly sad .

As a mother of 3 boys, I cannot begin to fathom how you carry on knowing that they are with their abuser. A heartbreaking story of a mothers love for her boys and them being unforgivably taken away. I know you will not rest until they are back with you safe. I am praying for both your boys safe return.

Deeply upsetting

I somehow stumbled across this book when looking for a romance book. I read the first few pages and although it wasn’t what I was looking for I was hooked and have read it at every opportunity this last couple of days since starting it.
I found it shocking and deeply upsetting!
I hope the author has managed to get her children home. It’s disgraceful how much this mother and her children have been let down by our court system.

Shocking testimony

This book is a very well written account of the horror of child sex abuse.
I found myself stunned hearing the details of what occurred in the family courts.
Iv not been so disturbed since investigating the Hampstead ritual abuse case.
My prayers are with this brave lady and for the return of her children.

Failure of UK police and courts to protect innocent children

Being a Mum; it was a difficult read because of the blaring injustice towards a woman and her children. I was angry with the attitude and lack of care taken by Manchester Police in the book. The lack of a proper investigation just adds flames to the fire of cover-ups and a distrust of the police and court systems. The very systems and professions who are in place to protect vulnerable children. I felt angry and helpless reading this book. The system needs to change and start protecting the victims; the children.

Every parents worst nightmare brought to the surface in this book

A must read which scarily demonstrates this COULD HAPPEN TO YOU! A very captivating book that I read over a few days. Whilst reading a number of RED FLAGS appear and I can’t help but think that anyone not in a role where safeguarding is a requirement, would not know what to look out for. Bless you Samantha, the universe will answer your prayers much sooner than you think. x
