Clear Coaching: Harness Clarity To Drive Development

Rate this book
Coaching matters. Furthermore, we know this endeavour depends upon capable leaders. So what? For most people, it ends there. However, for you start it starts here. You read voraciously and jot notes on napkins. You care about kids. You care about your craft. In fact, you are drawn deeply into this role that found you as much as you found it. For every ten moments of frustration you are gifted one of inspiration and that is enough for you. You are an educator. This talent activation handbook is a practical and powerful read. WHAT OTHERS SAY... “Todd Beane has a unique ability to take what we are all thinking, but cannot quite articulate, and turn it into clear, concise and actionable ideas that we can use in our coaching, and our life.” John O'Sullivan Founder of the Changing the Game Project “All of our children deserve coaches who have read Clear Coaching – a sage guidebook for those seeking clarity, inspiration, and mastery of the most essential elements of effective teaching.” Skye Eddy Founder of the Soccer Parenting Association "Todd is an inspirational leader with a creative vision on how to develop people." Martijn van Westerop Professor at the Cruyff Institute Amsterdam “There are so many nuggets of wisdom in “Clear Coaching.” This is not just a book about Coaching, it's a book on how to be the best version of yourself which will prepare you to be the best Coach, Mentor, Teacher, Parent and Human Being. I couldn’t stop taking notes while reading it!” Tom Byer Author of Football Starts at Home "Todd has the rare capacity to reduce complex issues to their core." I share this review from a perspective of an physical education educator. This book is a simple read that resonates with the 'Why' of teaching/coaching. It is concise yet profound and I would keep this book by my table side lest I find myself wavering and feeling disconnected by the storms of the administrative work that comes with teaching. It provides clear ways on how to frame my thoughts as an educator. With so much raging on, this book provides direction. This book will help me realign myself to my ideals of being a PE teacher. Would love a much more detailed sequel to this book.

Beane Creates Opportunity for Us To Rethink Our Approach To Coaching the Game

This is a concise and plainly written summation of Todd's personal enlightenment and perspective on how to coach and create better players. He challenges us to consider his philosophy and see how it is player-centric and ultimately a far more progressive and appropriate way to mentor today's athlete. He shows you the map, but makes it clear that it has to be our individual journey.
