Oh wow.
Okay so player but not womanizer Royce twin brother of Reese is a S.W.A.T member but bouncing for his sister at her bar.
Amber a new recruit on the bar scene. She has become tight with Reese and the whole baseball team that frequents the bar one of the players Connor is dating Reese.
Royce has an encounter with an old school buddy Tyson, he is drunk and is dangerous to women.
Royce has a thing for Amber and is fighting it because since he layed eyes on her he is not interested in other women.
When Tyson takes an interest in Amber Royce is not there to protect her but Maverick a married team player comes to her rescue.
Tyson doesn't take her rejection well.
At the end of the night as Royce and his sister talk a patron yells that a man is holding a woman against her will and has a gun.
Royce goes into cop mode, but what Royce discovers gives him nightmares for a week. Amber is fighting for her life and Royce is not expecting the feelings that come over him at the sight.
When Amber makes the first move a week later its hot and heavy. Turns out they saved each other we end the story on a HFN ending

Amber has a hankering for Reese’s brother Royce, he just happens to be a SWAT Officer who is working security at his sisters nightclub. Royce is interested in Amber but the right time doesn’t seem to have presented itself and so he hangs back until Amber's held at gun point by a vengeful drunk who she had turned down earlier, Royce leaps into action and saves her and they both realise that they have feelings for one another. A short story but well written.

Royce has a deal with his twin that he can date (sleep with!) anyone he wants as long as it isn’t any of her friends. That deal has worked out well so far but since Amber came into the group he’s been struggling.
It slips further when he meets Amber when she’s out with the girls and has had one too many. A seriously good lip lock later and he takes her home and puts her to bed...except she doesn’t remember

Good short romance

It’s a well written, short story that contains a bit of suspense but is also romantic and hot with endearing characters.
Royce is attracted to Amber, his sister’s best friend, because of this friendship, a kind of prohibition is set. Yet Amber is also attracted to him and when he has to intervene to save her, all their hesitations are reset.

Royce is a SWAT team member and the twin to Reese. Amber is Reese’s best friend and he has been attracted to her since he first saw her. But being his sister’s friend and his reputation as a love em and leave em guy he hasn’t approached her. Then he rescues her from a tense situation and things fall in line. Good storyline and wonderful characters characters. Very good short read.

Was a good day when I got into this one. Royce will have you thinking about him often he is that noticeable. He is the definition of loyal if you needed one. The only thing though is up until now no lasting relationship in the one area. We also have Amber in this treat. She will drift to think about a certain someone once in awhile. Of course we get a drama that has Amber pitted with a crazy I think he is. Royce has to save the day. Then it goes from there we see it really unfold. Take a trip into a romance that is filled with drama.

I enjoyed this story so much. Even though it was short it was steamy and sweet. Amber really did rescue Royce but he did a little recusing himself. Great things come in small packages. I really enjoyed this story. Royce had been warned to not sleep with Amber as she was his sister's friend. He was something of a womanizer - at least until he saw Amber for the first time. Then he had to find a way to not have his sister kill him. Amber felt the same way about him and it was sweet how they got their HEA.. A little drama, great friends and some hot sex. Good story

This was a fun short romance that had a good combination of sexy romance and a dash of suspense. Amber and Royce make such a cute couple and I loved their chemistry with one another. Debra Elise has given us a fun, fast paced book that easily captures your attention

A entertaining quick read. I wished the story was longer. The story flows well, the characters were likeable and fit well together and have off the charts chemistry. This is my first book from this author and I will be looking for more.

Amber has a thing for Royce, Reese's twin. Amber is hanging out with the team at bar where they go. Amber wants to approach Royce but does not tell him how she feels. Royce is starting the feel the same way. Then one night there is an incident at the bar with some jerk that does not take no lightly. Royce is there to save her. This is a wonderful story and it is part of a series. The characters are wonderful and the story is great. The book hooked me and I could not put it down. I needed to see how it ended, and it ended and I am guessing there is going to me more.

Rescuing Royce was a good book while in the moment, but not memorable. It is a basic romance story with the Ex-military, current SWAT, alpha male that is drawn to the off limits friend of his sister. The characters are great and the author does a good job moving the story along. There is also a brief suspenseful altercation when Amber is attacked. Unfortunately, nothing stood out from other romance books to make it a fantastic read. If you want a sweet romance with the typical hot guy, Rescuing Royce is good for a one-time read. 3.5 stars

I love Debra Elise’s books. I received this book as an ARC. Amber and Royce are the main characters in this book. It is a stand alone book with characters from previous books mentioned in the story line. Amber and Royce have been attracted to each other but haven’t acted on it. There is suspense which brings them closer together finally. All I can say is I wish I could find a man like Royce for me!

A very enjoyable story with great characters who had an amazing chemistry. The only thing keeping them apart is the relationship might ruin his sister’s friendship with the person who has captured his interest- her friend. It was a very good story that I enjoyed reading.

Good story, but it would have been better if it was written in the first point of view. I find the stories written in the 3rd POV a little impersonal. It's a pet peeve of mine. So only 4 stars for me.

It Grabbed My attention and focus so strong I could not put it down. A word of advice when you get your copy. Grab a snack, a comfy seat, kick back and relax. You will not be moving until you finish this bad boy here. Remarkable job. Thanks for sharing.

This is the 1st book I read by Debra Elise. This book's storyline was okay. I liked the action in this story. I liked the hot 🔥 & steamy scenes. I liked Royce's character. Amber's character was okay. The ending was okay.
