It's no secret that I adored the first two novels in the Babylon series, so when I heard that Victoria and Lou were working on book three, I was genuinely curious as to where they would take it. Without Consequence introduced us to Ayda Hanagan and Drew fuckin' Tucker, President badass of The Hounds of Babylon MC. Book two had taken us on a path unlike any other, with scenes so intense and raw that they left you feeling breathless as you continued along their journey.
- Pull the trigger, darlin' — Taken from the most iconic quote from Without Mercy.
Book one was fantastic, book two left me stunned–not knowing if they were ever going to be able to top it.
Well, they only went and did it!
And what was so special about this particular instalment was that we were privy to a side of Drew fuckin' Tucker that we never really got to see in the previous two novels yet, we kinda had an inkling that his emotions ran a hell of a lot deeper than we were really ever shown. But I saw it! I knew it was there, somewhere, buried so deeply that I often wondered if those emotions–those deep, heartbreaking feelings–would ever arise. Alas, they did! And my God was it beautiful. Though torturous to read, (because, hello? We love our Drew) it was a stunningly beautiful sight.
- "I was a love-struck, pumped up biker with the hormones of a teenager, the puppy dog eyes of fourteen year old girl and the sexual appetite of a younger Michael Douglas."
- "One day you'll realize that as long as I have breath in my lungs, I'm always going to put you first." —SWOON—
- "We're hounds. We foam at the mouth, howl at the moon, and rip people apart with our bare teeth." —DOUBLE SWOON—
Of course the story is situated around the unconventional love story of Drew and Ayda, but what makes this one special is that all the characters we grew to love in the previous two have just as much to say as our hot duo. Yes, we get to dive deep into their lives, discovering truths and lies and loving them all over again.
Obviously... I'm not going to give away too much of the good stuff... No, you'll have to read this epic story to find out for yourselves. But what I can say–and I mean this with the utter most sincerity–is that you better make damn well sure you have enough tissues to hand because this one is one that will hurt your heart, rebuild it and leave you wondering how you'll ever move on from it.
Another great instalment from this talented duo. I highly recommend you add this to your tbr right now!

The Babylon Series by these two amazing ladies has had my heart from the very beginning. The Hounds Of Babylon men and the beautiful Ayda captured me from the very first novel. Without Consequence was amazing (first in the series), Without Mercy (second in the series) blew my mind, but this, Without Truth has completely crushed my heart and soul and I have no idea what to say......I am broken and I loved every minute of it.
Again we are taken on a journey that's raw, gritty, highly confronting, breathtakingly beautiful and heartbreaking at the highest of levels.
Drew and Ayda have been through hell and all they want is a little slice of peace to heal from the torture that they both had to endure at the hands of evil.
It's not to much to ask right?
But what they both don't realize is that evil is again about to strike, and it's going to affect them all. The monsters are about to return and this time they will take from the Hounds Of Babylon.
Drew will do everything in his power to keep his men safe.
Drew will do everything in his power to keep Ayda safe.
But at what cost?
And what secrets will be revealed?
Who will survive, and who will ultimately lose their life?
Will they have to say goodbye to someone they love?
Will The Hounds and their beloved Ayda survive?
A gripping read that has left me all kinds of emotional. My heart splintered and the tears flowed. Such a powerful read.

Together we came alive. Together we were where we were always meant to be.
I can totally recommend this series.
I have been immersed in all that is Drew and Ayda yet again and loved every minute.
Passion, love, family, the highs, and lows in life, enemies, danger, this series has it all going on, but in the midst of it all a love that was growing more and more between Ayda and Drew.
I feel like I have been on a rollercoaster journey with these two characters from the moment they first met they have been through hell and back together and it only made them stronger.
Each book has given me a different view of the love Ayda and Drew have for each other, a love that will last forever and no matter what came their way they faced it together.
A brilliant MC series with highs and Lowe's and the extended characters Ayda grew to love as family I also grew to love too.
A family-focused MC that didn't lack in its times for bloodshed and violence to protect those they loved. The men who wore the Hounds MC cut were family first.
Each book is over 40 chapters, a good quality MC romance that isn't just a story but a journey you can get absorbed in. sometimes I felt it was a little too long but I do love to get to the nitty gritty instead of the everyday stuff.
Book one is Without Consequences and takes you to the hotness that is Drew when he first gets out of prison then later meeting the fiery Ayda, it seems so long ago now they have been through so much.
I am looking forward to more from these two authors, I have some of my favorite characters one being Kenny so I'm hoping there will be more to this series and each of the Hounds finds their own love too.
*Please note that there is a scene of violation suffered by one of the characters in this story.

This is book three in one of the best book series I have ever read. The first two books in this series are incredible and I was worried how a third book would hold up. Well, the authors knocked it out of the park! This story was just as thrilling as the first book.
I love Drew and Ayda from the first two books and they did not disappoint in this third one! This story is action packed but intertwined with a unique romance as well as some incredible sadness. The authors kept the story fresh, and kept me on the edge of my seat with this nail biter of a story. There were times that I held my breath in anticipation of what was happening as well as times where I was wiping a tear from my eye.
I highly recommend this series. You will not be disappointed!

WOW! I can honestly say this is my favourite book in the series. I absolutely loved book 1 and 2 but there is something about book 3 that has crawled into my heart and won't leave! And I wouldn't want it to. Everyone needs a little Drew Tucker in their lives.
Drew and Ayda are just perfect together. They have been through a lot but have become stronger and stronger. Book 3 takes you on one hell of a roller coaster and will leave you with one hell of a book hangover.
The entire series is flawless and would highly recommend it.

OMG!!! I loved the first two books in this series and have been eagerly awaiting book 3, curious to see where it would lead us. Book 2 was a hard act to follow and I wasn't sure they could top it, then Without Truth happened!! Its left me stunned, speechless and a little bit of an emotional wreck - but in the best kind of way!
This book takes us back into the world of Babylon and catches us up with Drew and Ayda after the events of Without Mercy. Just when you think you have it all figured out this book takes you in a direction you never saw coming, its utterly brilliant and beautifully written. And Drew, I still have now words! He was hot in the previous books, but we see a new emotional side to him that just hits you right in the heart.
This needs to be on you TBR list right now!

I LOVED the first two books of this MC series, so waited in anticipation for book 3. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how Victoria and L.J. would beat Without Mercy (book 2) as I absolutely loved that BUT they only went and did it.

This book is a crazy ride that pulls you in from the get-go. The writing is so seamless it's actually hard to believe that it's written by two different authors. They both have a 5* talent for writing emotion, thrill, love, and angst. Oh yeh, there will be tears - I DEFY you to read this book without tears!
As Drew and Ayda's love story deepens we get to see a deeper side to Drew. Love REALLY suits this bad boy biker!
Highly recommended. You need to 1-click all three in this series right now!

Oh be still my beating heart!! Drew Tucker truly has grown into the most stunning alpha & i’m head over heals in Love & Lust with the man of the moment.
You know, Book 2 - Without Mercy rocked my world. It was tense, gripping & utterly soul sapping. I knew I needed more of Drew, Ayda & the hounds, but wasn't sure which direction this duo were going to take it AND if it would or could live up to my now super high expectations of this series. Well guess what, HAPPY DANCING!!!!! Hell yes did they deliver. Loads of nail biting angst & some superb plot twists had me engrossed in this story from beginning to end.
Let me tell you what a rollercoaster of a ride it was, I mean, talk about tight chest & achy heart, because not only did they bring all the angst, they also wove their magic into some truly amazing character development, that not only enriched the reading experience, but also saw my heart expand way beyond what I thought it was capable of. This couple consumed me completely & in return, I loved them unconditionally.
Drew & Ayda are one of my all time fav all couples. Seeing them emotionally grow & join together on en even higher level throughout this part of their journey was beautiful. Seriously, some of their ‘moments’ moved me to tears. It felt like I was Intruding on words, whispers & touches that should have been for their hearts only. The skill in writing these scenes with so much tenderness & raw emotion blew me away, Vic & Lou brought everything to life with such clarity, making it real not just in its beauty, but in its ugliness too.
The Hounds have fast become one of my TOP MC reads. I'm nowhere near done with this couple, or the rest of the boys by any means & I can't wait for what comes next!! As quick as answers were given, more bloody questions were thrown into the mix by this sneaky pair, all gift wrapped in the proverbial ‘plot twist’ red bow. My mind is still racing days after I've finished.. Which means book 4 can't come quick enough.
Must be read in series but trust me when I say it will be a pleasure & not a chore. One of the few series that are on my re read list. YES - it's THAT GOOD!

Firstly, I want to say how I cannot believe this series was written by two authors. The pair write seamlessly which just adds to the enjoyment of getting lost in this book.
Secondly, this is my favourite book in the series so far! I feel like the authors have found their confidence, pushing boundaries with the storyline and doing it perfectly. No wincing or cringing, just the want to carry on reading to find out more. It's rare that authors can touch on sensitive subjects and do it as well as these two have.
Thirdly, read this series! I cannot recommend it enough. I'm predicting big things for it in the future. Drew, Ayda and The Hounds are an MC Club you need in your lives. Trust me.

Back to Babylon with book 3, Without Truth.
I didn’t think book2 could be beaten but I was so wrong, The authors blew it out of the water with, Without Truth. I was left speechless with how amazing the story and writing was. Very chapter just trapped you and pulled you right into Babylon as tho you were there standing next to the characters. I laughed, felt real heartbreak that I had to hide my kindle under my pillow.
If you read one MC series it has to be this one. Outstandingly brilliant writing and story. Loose yourself in Babylon and you’ll never want to leave,I didn’t.
Cannot wait for book 4, and more from these amazing authors.

Another brilliant read
Just when I thought I couldn’t love Babylon series more...wham!!! Without Truth comes along and makes the deep adoration, admiration and affection I have for these books and characters feel like slight fondness.
The characters are brought to life in such a way that they almost leap off of the page, and I'm not gonna lie they bury themselves even deeper into your heart.
You can't really mention the plot of this book without giving away too much, it's much better to 'go in blind'. You will definitely not be disappointed.
You can expect MORE!! More Ayda on her way to becoming a badass, more Drew and his alpha maleness than ever before, you can also expect a swoon-worthy tenderness to Drew that I absolutely adored. Give me a tough guy with a soft side and I'm a swoony mess.
Expect more heart stopping action and suspense that I cannot get enough of.
This book will definitely take you on a journey of ups and downs and unexpected twists that will blow your Babylon loving head off and quite possibly you'll lose a tiny piece of your heart.
Separately these two authors are brilliant, I adored every word they've written but together they're nothing short of spectacular, I for one hope there are many many many more Babylon books to come.

Unbelievable!!!!! They did it again. Thank you Ms. James and Ms. Stock. 10* and more for this series!
I´m in love with this characters!!! Drew, oh my goodness, he´s the best hero ever!!! Kenny, Slater, Harry, Jedd, Tate are amazing, too. Eric, Drew´s dad is about my age, now I think I´m falling in love with this guy..... Let´s see what´s coming in the next book....
Mostly in MC-books the h is a virgin, shy, weak, shallow, waiting to be rescued bei the bad-boy-knight on his bike..... but this one.... my AYDA....she´s badass, sweet, sassy, vulnerable, but has the heart of a fighter, strength, loyalty and she has edges. I like that. A lot. She´s probably how every woman want´s to be. I love her!! How Drew and Ayda are together, is swoonworthy. I´m in love with this characters!!! Drew, oh my goodness, he´s the best hero ever!!! Kenny, Slater, Harry, Jedd, Tate are amazing, too. Eric, Drew´s dad is about my age, now I think I´m falling in love with this guy..... Let´s see what´s coming in the next book....
Mostly in MC-books the h is a virgin, shy, weak, shallow, waiting to be rescued bei the bad-boy-knight on his bike..... but this one.... my AYDA....she´s badass, sweet, sassy, vulnerable, but has the heart of a fighter, strength, loyalty and she has edges. I like that. A lot. She´s probably how every woman want´s to be. I love her!! How Drew and Ayda are together, is swoonworthy. Intense, emotional and even heartbreaking at times, another gripping and soul reaching story. Full of twists, action and excitement, it brought me to tears and then had me chuckling right along with the characters. It has a few surprises along the way and more threats. If you want a series to really get your teeth into and invest in then this is definitely one to read, i am loving it.

When I was told to brace myself for this book, I didn’t know what to do or say, but, boy didn’t I heed that warning, because, man, I think this book broke me.
Without Truth (Babylon MC #3) by Victoria L. James and L.J. Stock is without a doubt, the best book of the series. I know I’ve said that before, but it seems each book I read in the series, it gets even more better. This novel is deeper than the others and as we continue to travel down the roads of the hounds the more we uncover and look into their lives.
This book was very gritty. It was darker than the first, and built up even more tension than possible. It may answer a few questions from the previous books, but is only then replacing them with more questions. This book has an edge that the other novels didn’t, and it draws back to the question of family and brotherhood. It looks into that rather deeply.
The characters in this novel have become like family to me. I love each and every member of the Hounds, and I loved that I got to get a look into their lives. This book was not easy to read. Some of it made me uncomfortable, and others made me not like the authors so much. For those that have read the book will know what I’m talking about. The ending just about broke my heart, and I’m not sure how I’ll ever forgive the authors for it.
As for Drew... He’s mine. End of. It somehow seems that he has found a small place to wedge himself in my heart. His character is one of the strongest that I’d ever read. I have a newfound respect for the president of HOB, as well as for many other characters, and the strength he has managed to become not only for his club, but also for Ayda.

I wasn't sure how these two could top the last book. It broke me. But this one, this was the story that started to put me back together.
In the aftermath of what should have been the destruction of the Hounds, Drew and Ayda are trying to find their way back to a new normal. They are navigating waters neither have ever been in before and it will shake their foundation down to the very core. I think this book really shown a spotlight on Ayda, and just how ready and well adapted she is to this life. For all the ways Drew wants to protect her, our girl is holding her own and taking matters in to her own hands. Much to Drew's dismay. Not that Drew has turned all mushy and weak, just the opposite in fact. The events of before have emboldened him, and make him want to be a better man. Want a more normal life. Too bad fate has other plans. The evolution of Drew Tucker is perfection. He is a man we have watched grow from a tough as nails prez of an mc, to a tough as nails prez of an mc with a heart and a soft spot for his woman, the one that keeps him grounded in the world he so wants to create for her. For me, this book was a turning point for my favorite characters. It was Ayda's time to step up, it was Drew's time to open up,and it showed just what these two were made of and how perfect they really are for each other.

I just had to binge read this series because it's too good not to.Again the authors kept me on the edge and with my bed time long forgotten as I got so deep immersed in this amazing story again.
It's the third book of Babyon,the third book of Ayda and Drew love story that is not anything that you have read before ,nothing is as we know a love story is about.
I just love Ayda so much,she becomes more and more a badass and stronger than you could imagine with every book and her love for Drew never cease to amaze me because she has to face situations and felling that a normal person won't be able to keep up with and long have give up at everything.

OMG! This book was everything! I get nervous when I get three books into a series that is about the same couple. There was absolutely NO need to worry with this series though. Victoria L. James and L.J. Stock have knocked this series out of the park! I loved the first two books in this series and this read was absolutely no different. I was so curious to see how Ayda and Drew were going to be in book three and they truly do not disappoint. Each of these characters are growing in leaps and bounds and I adore them both as well as the other members of the MC. This one played with my emotions in a totally good way!
Without Truth takes us back into the world of Babylon and catches us up with Drew and Ayda after the events of Without Mercy. Some of those moments in the previous book were difficult for them to conquer and if you haven't read the previous books then read them ASAP!!
I always think I have a book figured out, but not in this case. This book took me on such a journey and it is absolutely brilliantly written. The character development continues and I just can't wait for number 4!

Without Truth by Victoria L James and LJ Stock is the third book in the Babylon MC Series. Without Truth is not a standalone, you must read the previous books, Without Consequence and Without Mercy, first.
Drew and Ayda's story continues. The book picks up where the prevuois one was left off. Drew is trying to turn over a new leaf. Ayda si by his side. But she's plagued by nightmares. Both are battlehardened and scarred, visible and invisible. After the danger from the rival's MC is neutralized, you could think yes now they have time for their HEA, but noooo. New threats and danger awaits them. New enemies and old rivals show up and challenge the couple and the Hounds of Babylon MC.
Without Truth is a story full of twists and unexpected turns that kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. I read the book in one sitting, I had to know what happens to the characters. The writing is great and I very easily connected with the characters. Without Truth is my favorite read in this series and I give 5 stars.

So happy to be back in Babylon!
Wow, the Babylon series just keeps getting better and better! The storyline, the characters, the emotions that Victoria L James and L J Stock make us feel are just second to none. I loved that in book 3 we were able to get to know a couple of the other characters a little better whilst also sticking with Drew and Ayda's personal story at the same time.
Knowing how well these talented authors can write scenes, my pulse was racing a little at times with the suspense and the not knowing what was going to happen next.
I must also add a little note to commend the epilogue for Without Truth. Oh my word, what an amazing piece of writing. I won't go into details because I don't like posting spoilers in reviews, but it was just so perfectly written and was the best possible way to end the book. Well done, Victoria L James and L J Stock, I look forward to reading more of your words in the future.

Another very good book by Victoria L. James and L.J. Stock! These 2 ladies write seamlessly. Without Truth is the 3rd book in Babylon MC Series. It’s been awhile since I read the 2nd book in this series. I read Without Mercy back in 2015.
I had a little bit of a hard time getting into this book (I think only because it had been so long since I had read Without Mercy). But, once I got reacquainted with the characters this book moves fast and I couldn’t put this book down!
The story continues for Drew Tucker, Ayda & Tate (her brother). There are secrets and is the “Truth” to be feared? I will let you find that out for yourself.
What happened near the end of the book happened exactly the way that I thought it should. The ending though saddened me but, it was a fitting ending & the only ending it could be. I can’t wait to read Without Shame the 4th book in the Babylon Series. I am fortunate enough to have it sitting on my Kindle now! 5 stars

Without Truth KU 478 pgs **** 9/17/20 Drew & Ayda
4 stars that would have been a solid 5 if there weren’t so many wordy filler pages. The story was awesome, the characters were awesome, MC action awesome, love, heart break, violence, brotherhood, chemistry etc. was so good. The few sex scenes were so wordy and so long, over pages and pages, the entire scene was lost. A good editing would make this a solid 5-star book. I have become so much a part of every single character’s life in this series that in my mind, I am living it with them. Ayda and Drew are perfect for each other and being a part of watching them both grow and become who they are meant to be has been a wonderful journey. They have both become so strong and so entwined down to their souls. The ending broke my heart, but it had to be that way for the lives of the MC and beyond to continue on in their journeys. I can’t wait to read Without Shame. This will be a re-read series over and over for me.

Without Truth continues Drew and Ayda’s story from where Without Mercy left us, and my goodness I found it to be the most emotional narrative in the series so far. There are some heartbreaking moments that I know will have you reaching for the tissues.
As this series continues, I keep adding more of the Babylon MC to my favourite persons list. Deeks received a shout out in my review of Without Mercy and this time I cannot not mention Harry. I adore his close relationship with Drew. I admire his thoughts and actions.

I need more. Seriously, I need more. It cannot end this way. I'm sitting here with my mouth agape wondering what the hell. It cannot end this way. Even though I already said it I need more. So many characters I need to know about. Sloane, Sutton, Kenny, Tate, Slater.and let me not forget the main two of Eric. I need to know what's going on in the future. I need answers and babies.
I loved Drew and Ayda in this book even more than the others. I loved their connection and their conversations. There was a sweetness and vulnerability there that hadn't fully been developed in the first two books. I hope to God there are more books about this club. After reading the first two books I knew we were in for another roller coaster ride with this one and I wasn't disappointed. This book had so many emotions in it, once again left me speechless, it lulls you into a false sense of security then pulls the rug from under you, just when you think things are going right it twists so hard you don't know which direction you are going in.
This book is the hardest so far to leave a review for as there is so much going on and even the small things would leave spoilers, the journey you take with Drew, Ayda and the Hounds is not one you can put into words, you have to read it and feel it for yourself.....just let me say you are in for one hell of a ride.

Was this book necessary? No.
Was it an improvement compared to the previous ones? Actually yes.
In my earlier reviews I complained about Drew, but he was much better this time. His love for the FMC was obvious and openly shown, so the macho posturing and the whole “the boys can’t see me simp” attitude wasn’t as heavy. Still not perfect, but definitely an improvement.
Ayda, though... I think I was too generous before. She’s the absolute definition of a doormat in this relationship. Drew could cheat on her and she’d immediately justify it - “it’s just the MC life, he’s under so much stress, I know he loves me and he’ll come back to me in the end.” The truth is, if she had even a shred of self-respect, she wouldn’t stay with him.
I’m dreading the next book, because it already feels like we’re being set up for him acting out again and her excusing it all over.
Props to the authors for finally not being afraid of sex scenes!
Btw, if you see this review having 1 star rating it means authors went for a pregnancy trope in the next books.

It's been a few days since I finished this 3rd instalment of the Babylon Hounds MC, and I'm still not quite sure what I want to write about this. In a good way!
Once again continuing where the previous story finished, we're faced with the challenges of Drew, Ayda, and the rest of the Hounds family after recent events. But something is afoot in the town of Babylon, with the appearance of someone from Ayda's past.
(I could go on writing about this all day but I would end up telling you the story so I'm going to try and keep it short (for me anyway!) and sweet!)
Once again, the whole story is written so smoothly that you would not think it has been co-authored. This has been my favourite book in the series so far, jam packed with drama and tension from the beginning.
I found myself learning something new about the characters in each and every chapter; there was always something to keep me gripped, but at the same time hanging!
Throughout the story I found myself swearing, gasping, even with watery eyes at points; especially at the loss of one of my favourites. This story now has a place both in my heart and my top reads of the year so far, and my first 5* of 2018.

My poor heart is in tatters, this has to be my favourite book from the whole series so far.
These Hounds don’t walk away from trouble they make there own rules and regulations which means retribution is only one step away at any time. The loyalty this group of crazy bikers show each other and the compassion they have for each member of there little family was always front in centre in this story from book 1 but they all take it that one step further and I couldn’t help but admire every single character for it.
I’ve got so many questions that need answers and so glad I only have to wait a few weeks for book 4!

This series must be read in order so Without Consequence and Without Mercy must be read first. Drew and Ayda have been through so much to be together and just when you think that they will have the happiness they have worked so hard for a new threat emerges and the consequences could be deadly.
As the President of the Babylon MC he needs to not only protect Ayda but his brothers as well. With so many twists and secrets to be revealed you are left wondering what could possibly happen next.
Not only is this a wild ride because of the suspense and action but it is the emotional side that stays with you long after you finish the story.
