“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go!” - Dr. Seuss, “I Can Read With My Eyes Shut”
Many know the famous quote by Dr. Seuss, and this book is the origin of that quote, and takes reading to a whole new level. I can read in red, blue, and pickle color too! I can even read with my eyes shut, but it’s a very hard thing to do. You can learn so much more with your eyes open. For example, ice, mice, ice on mice, mice on ice, and the price of ice! You can’t learn all that with your eyes shut tight. After all, if you keep your eyes open, you will learn all the stuff, the most wonderful stuff!
Reason for Recommendation: This book is written by beloved writer Dr. Seuss, and teaches kids about the power of reading in a fun way with powerful quotes.

Obviously a classic and it rhymes and I get into such a smooth groove with this book. It's just well written.
