Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.

Vanished is the fifth installment in L.L. Frost’s Succubus Undone storyline for her Succubus Harem serial. Julian is gone, Adie is still cursed and unable to feed from her men, and cousin Cassandra has made another appearance. Her intent? To take Adie’s place as the resident succubus. Adie has no intention of taking this lying down, but what can she really do with the curse raging inside of her? Things aren’t looking good for this succubus, as it seems that she faces one trial after another.
Vanished continues in the dark element that has been going on for the past couple of books. All hope for plan A has just about gone out the window. Now, there is a new threat that Adie has to deal with and that’s in the form of cousin Cassandra and the cop who’s like a dog with a bone. I had mixed feelings about this book. On one hand, I get my hopes up that things will go the way that they need to, but then I don’t want things to be…too easy of where everything works out the way the characters want/need them to. I’m impossible, I know. LOL! Good thing the author thinks a few paces ahead and knows to predicate readers like me. LOL!
There really isn’t much that I can honestly complain about concerning this book. Adie gets on my nerves in a couple scenes, but it goes to the storyline and so I fully understand where things were going and why they happened. The bad guys are really piling up in this book, and yeah…I’m throwing the cop in there, too. He may “mean well” but he’s getting on my nerves with his tunnel vision at this point.
I’m rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I’m on the edge of my seat to learn what happens next, because this book ends on quite a cliffhanger. If you’ve read this series to this point then I encourage you to pick this book up. Just brace yourself for the ending!

One step forward, one step back, thirteen zigzag steps sideways pretty much describes Adie's life at this point. Into the bottle and back out. Then... There's no way I can give any details without getting carried away. This episode left me speechless and yet screaming. So much crazy emotion. I know Undone, the next episode isn't due until next month but my birthday is tomorrow and the perfect present would be a really early peak. Seriously, this may be my favorite story arc yet. On the flip side, I've decided this author has a cruel streak. There's no other explanation for ending it like she did this time!

Another well written short story. I love the adventures of Addie Boo Pond and her family and friends. Each book leaves me impatient for the next. I both love and hate the cliffhanger endings: I love it because it means there’s more to Addie’s adventures, but I hate it because it means I have only a small part of the adventure and it usually ends just when things get dicey.

Tragic!

Wow! This might be one of the most heart wrenching books of this whole series. Cassandra, Victor Hesse, being put in a bottle, a beast attached to her soul, a permanent link to Victor Hesse, a pain in the butt detective and the destruction of so much of what she loves. I was sad at the end of the least book, but that doesn’t even hold a candle to this! Again, all I can say is poor Adie!

Ugggghhhh i need more!

I just can't even process the ending of this book right now. I just finished and I had to sit in silence for a few minutes and gather myself. The book picks up right were it left off as they try to come to terms with Victor's actions and deal with the detectives who are... well rather annoying. Overall a great addition to the story and will desperately leave you wanting more

Just keeps getting better and better

Ms Frost continues the adventures of Adie and her demons with more thrilling action and tender drama. There are some emotional moments in this installment that were heart wrenching. Hopefully things will get better for Boo and the crew.
