Am I alive or dead?

Perfect!
Ahhh I absolutely adore Trinity! Lox you have absolutely smashed it with this one. Just perfect in every way! I’ll review properly tomorrow, I need sleep now 🥱😂
my updated review - so I’ve turned into a bit of a Savage bookwhore. 😂 Loxley Savage is the Queen of dark romance. The Feathers & Fire trilogy is one of my favourite reads of this year, I literally devoured the series. Trinity is a total Queen, a badass warrior. I just knew she’d find her inner Phoenix and rise out of the ashes to wreck havoc on those that had wronged her. I swear to the high heavens I was literally jumping for joy as I was reading about Boris & his fall from disgrace 💃🏼(that’s my happy dance 😁) I thought that chapter was very clever & very well thought out. One of my favourite moments was when she was able to speak to her Mum 🥰 I thought that was just lovely. Trinity had been through so much from such an early age so it was nice to hear how much she was loved. I read a review that said something along the lines of, “ yuk, how can someone that’s been tortured & abused then go on to enjoy those awful sex scenes?” 🤦🏼♀️😂😂 you clearly didn’t read the book properly. Succubus crave it & feed off of it🤦🏼♀️😂 have a word with yourself. Anyways, I was totally gutted for her when she lost that person she was so excited to meet. The sacrifice was very sad but her wrath was epic. Shame she didn’t get the big family reunion 😢 her boys though... 🔥 that cave scene with the 4 of them was utterly delicious 🤤 Loxley is an incredible story teller! The smut scenes were on point big time! I loved everything about this series & have became a huge fan of Loxley, she is incredible at story telling & world building. Superb ❤️

Incredibly epic end to this fantastic trilogy!
I almost have no words for this book! It's taken me 15 minutes to stop crying just to do this review.
I have loved every minute of this trilogy. Watching Trinity go from an abused slave to a beloved queen has been a pleasure.
This final story in the trilogy brings together everything you could want in a final book: epically diabolical revenge, heartbreaking moments, scorching hot bedroom scenes. You will laugh, cheer, cry and be joyful.

Wow
I read this series back to back to back, and just... Wow.
I am so in awe of Trinity. I think just an iota of what she went through would've probably made me give up, but she fought through and kept going. She was willing to make some hard sacrifices so that she could make things work the way she needed them to. I don't know that I could've done that. She is so incredibly strong.
The guys don't ever hold her back. They just give her the support she needs. They are pretty impressive too.

My gahd, what an ending! The author sure do know how to bring a story to its explosive, gory and heart stopping ending. Trinity's growth from an abused slave to an ass-kicking queen is a sight to behold. All through out this series, I have rooted for our girl to have her freedom from her tormentors and when she finally got it? I was there with a manic smile on my face as, one by one, she dished out her cold revenge. Good fucking riddance! I loved that she got her HEA and the legacy that was stolen from her. Loved every minute of it and highly recommends this for fans of dark, kinky romance.

A series I never expected to love!!
Ok so I was really really skeptical to try this series (non/dub-con a new area for me and did not think I’d be able to read it) but I’m soooooo glad I did!
Yes there are some harrowing scenes in this but the story between Trinity and her mates is all-encompassing! You get taken on such an emotional rollercoaster and you root for her no matter what - Trin has an incredible inner strength! Although her 3 males support her and they having an amazing relationship - she rules the roost and overcomes so much by herself!! And the details of the sex scenes are absolutely 🥵🥵

Perfect ending for Trinity and her mates
If you made it this far in the series, then you know what to expect in regards to the dark subject matter and triggers so no need for me to stress the importance to other readers. I will say that it has scaled back a little bit in this book since Trinity is more so on a vengeance mission against those who have abused her in the past rather than in captivity a majority of the book.
It was nice to read about Trinity finally having her happy ending while enacting her revenge against Romero, Boris, and Lord Dameon. It was cathartic for both her and the reader. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys shifters and dark romances.

Okay, I liked the premise and idea of this series, and brutality really doesn't matter for me when reading. But I just didn't like how our FMC kept getting captured and then there was little resolve and build-up with her mates. I wanted more time with the mates than what was there instead with her torture and rape.

I could not stop reading.
I love when there are strong characters tvat are able to overcome the wrongs that were done to them and be able to rise above it. Loved this series and recomend it to any who love a little darkness in their stories.

Spoilers ahead.
The only thing that kept this from being three stars was because we got Boris’ POV and true closure with that revenge.
The death with Romero was extremely anticlimactic and we didn’t even get his POV for it. The entire second book was dedicated to how horrible he was to her and what he did, but there was zero real closure or anything intense for his death after what he did to an entire race for decades.
The griffin king along with his brothers crap seemed like weak filler for the books and I’m not sure why they were brought up or made out to be a big deal when they weren’t all that important throughout any of the books.
I’m also not understanding why all of the vampires that fed from Trinity could be killed by her fire, but Daemon couldn’t? Where was the explanation for that?

Trinity is without a doubt, one of my favourite characters in a book ever. When we first met her she was a slave with an evil master, escaping that life, finding out who she was but still being that slave at heart. But now, oh now Trinity will find her inner Queen and take those who have done her wrong, out! Her 3 phoenix mates are wonderful - they love her, they're prepared to give up their lives for her but most importantly, they adore her body and soul and I loved seeing them support her in her quest for vengeance. Make sure you read the trigger warnings but if like me, you have no triggers - leap in with wild abandon and lose yourself to Trinity's story. The perfect final and a brilliant book!

What a wild dark and crazy ride this has been, this started for me because of the cover, I mean have you seen it, its extremely pretty! It was the first dark book I have read and an instant love (don't know what that says about me but meh I love it) Loxley has finished this series amazingly!
Trinity has risen from the Ashes like the Phoenix the is and had to end the years of terror at the hands of her 4 worst nightmares, with the help of her extremely hot mates can she defeat them and get her happily ever after?
Amazing end so sad to see them go, but got the pretties on my shelf for me to keep rereading whenever I miss them too much!

This series is ✨chefs kiss✨ perfect. Do I wish there was more? Most definitely because I have grown wayyyy to attached to these characters and their story. Was it a good ending? Better than good it was what Trinity deserved and the HEA that I needed. Was it worth it? Yes. Yes and more yes read it. Go in blind pick up book one and prepare yourself to binge read. Once you start you won't want to stop.

Freed By Flames: A Dark Paranormal Reverse Harem Romance (Feathers & Fire Book 3) by Loxley Savage is an amazing story that I have loved reading. This is book number three in this amazing series that I have been hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about reverse harem and dark paranormal romance.

Epic Finale
Oh how I loved this final book and the way the author wrapped up everything with a nice big bow! I remember reading the first book and what it stirred in me. I'm not particularly fond of books with similar content, but I am a fan of Loxley Savage's writing and she definitely delivers an intriguing plot, laced with content that is dark, taking us readers on an emotional effed up rollercoaster towards an amazing ending for these characters.

I've been waiting for this book for what feels like forever and Loxley made it so worth the wait. This last book into the trilogy has it all. I don't want to give spoilers away, but let's just say those that need to get their comeuppance do so in ways that are cheer worthy. Trinity goes through so much and comes out stronger for it all. This is a series that I will probably re read several times throughout the years. Sad to see it end, but so glad for all the answers and closures. Great job to the Dark Queen Loxley for giving us a wonderful series.

Freed by Flames is the third and final book in the Feathers & Fire series. I really enjoyed this series and this was the perfect book for the ending. You must read the first two books first as this one takes place right after the second one ends. This book is told from multiple points of view.
Trinity went from an abused slave in book one to a queen in book three. She fought for her life and those of her mates and took down those who wronged her in the best ways possible!
She fought for others and put herself at risk to make sure others were free. I loved how much she grew and changed from the beginning of the beginning. I loved how her phoenix warriors set out to rescue her in the beginning, to learning that she can handle herself and ask for their help when she needs it!
Overall this series was great. I devoured all the books. I can't wait to read more by this author!

So I’m still fairly new to Loxley’s books. I had only previously read Seven Sins of Snow and really enjoyed it. So when I had the chance to arc this book, I immediately downloaded the first 2 so I could binge. If you’re into dark PNR reverse harem books, this is the book for you. I won’t even try to recap this series because I feel it would either spoil it too much and ruin the grit and darkness that it encompasses. This book was fast paced but leaves no detail behind. Overall, a really good book.

Trinity suffers alot in the sense of being “captured and tortured” and her captors having their way with her anyway they want. But remember this is PNR so there is a twist to this. Her species craves it.😈 So yea. Its hard to explain but do read it if thats your thing! 😅 She finally unlocks her powers and gets her revenge in the most bad @ss way. Its not perfect.. there are casualties but she does gets her HEA! You have to read in order to understand!
