This is the fourth book in the Italian Lovers Series and it continues Alessandro and Gianna's story. Things are smoother since the family feud had been put to rest. But as in most mafia romances things are not always smooth. Things heat up as Gianna's co-worker Charlotte starts causing conflict in her attempt to snag Alessandro for herself. False accusations continue to stir the pot and Gianna is crushed that Alessandro does not trust her. Plenty of drama and turmoil as they sift through the clutter. No spoiler her but does Alessandro realize that he's being played by Charlotte? Does Gianna forgive him for not trusting her? Oh my God I had to scream at Alessandro's behavior and put of all people he trusted, Charlotte. I'd love a happily ever after but at this point he may not deserve it.

Blind Jealousy: Italian Lovers part 4
(*some spoilers to give a summary)

I received a free ARC of this book from Booksprout in exchange for my honest review.

This books is part 4 of 6, and is the next 10 chapters of Alessandro and Gianna’s story (the final 2 of the Italian Lovers books/parts are being released in the coming 2 weeks).

This book is definitely not a standalone. You’re going to need to read the prequel and parts 1-3 first.

Book 1 is where they meet, and Alessandro has to go back to Italy for his grandmother’s funeral. In Italy, he finds out the truth about his family’s mob connections.

Book 2 is about Alessandro and Gianna getting close, falling for each other, and her finding out the truth about his mafia ties.

Book 3 is the family on both sides meeting and leaning of their true history and connection to each other. Angelo and his family have caused issues, which is where it ends - police on the scene.

Book 4 begins with with Alessandro’s friend Lorenzo reading about the arrest in the newspaper, and rushing to his aid. The 4 (Alessandro, Gianna, his father and her mother), are released from custody and able to carry on. They know it was Angelo’s mother who called them in to authorities, to be vindictive.

They return to NYC and make plans for moving in, their wedding, and Alessandro’s restaurants. Lorenzo plans to come over and visit for a month.

Once he arrives, Gianna and Charlotte are fully on the “outs”, Alessandro is fully in the searching phase for his restaurant, and they are moved-in and extremely happy. Lorenzo comes and they all go out to dinner... and bump into Charlotte!

Charlotte as usual looks to be up to no good. She hits on Lorenzo, inviting them all out to go clubbing that night. She’s also returning to work with Gianna straight away. They all opt not to go to the club to avoid problems. Gianna also arranges to start working from home to avoid Charlotte, the trouble maker!

Charlotte just keeps making problems for fun, and says something to Alessandro one day that sends him in a tail-spin... and brings everyone’s worlds crashing down. We end on a cliffhanger and need to wait until book 5 to find out if Lorenzo is able to fix the mess Charlotte has caused and brought him into the middle of!

The only issue I have with this story that I haven’t found so far in any other is that the jealousy (which you know is coming, from the title), more or less seems to come out of nowhere - one small comment is made by an extremely untrustworthy source, and he flies off the handle without checking for validity or asking anyone for confirmation first. It’s really out of nowhere with zero buildup. That is all!

Avery North writes well and always leaves me wanting to know the rest of the story - wishing it wasn’t released in small 8-10 chapter parts each week, but as a full book. I can’t wait until I know everything that happens! One more week for part 4! Only 2 more weeks until the final part and the wrap-up of the entire story. Can’t wait!

They thought they were leaving all the drama back in Italy...little did they know

Blind Jealousy is the fourth book in the Italian Lovers series and continues the story of Gianna Bianchi and Alessandro Esposito. The story picks up from the previous book, The Revelation, and finds Lorenzo driving to Rome after reading a newspaper article about Alessandro, Gianna, Alessandro's father and Gianna's mother being arrested. It seems someone has filed a false statement which resulted in the four of them being arrested in Amalfi and brought back to Rome. But as it was false they are released. Things move along at a bit of a clip with an engagement in Rome, flying back to NYC, moving in together, Gianna going back to the office only to have Charlotte reappear, Alessandro going back to Marco's but also looking for the right location for his new restaurant, Lorenzo taking a month off to come to NYC and so much more. Things are easy and fun as Alessandro and Gianna get on with their lives together but soon there will be a vengeful and calculating Charlotte which results in some blind jealousy,. Will it be the end of Alessandro and Gianna's love and planned future together (marriage, the restaurant, living in NYC and Amalfi, family and babies)? The ending is a cliffhanger so be prepared to not find out until you read the next book in the series.

This installment of the story is fast-paced and has a lot going on. The story continues with drama, mystery, family, friendship, revenge, romance, love and some sexy chemistry. I enjoyed the story quite a bit. The only thing for me was I was not feeling the rushed ending as the drama was forced to me. I will not give it away but I will just say that if there was love and trust then having a real talk would have resolved things quickly.

Alessandro Gianna finds themselves in jail for questioning as well as her mom and his dad. His best friend Lorenzo has come to the rescue again even though there was no need. But he decided after they were released and that he just might have to go to America with them, Alessandro and Gianna return to his grandmother's estate and then they return to their hotel and on the way they experience a special moment and are very happy when they return to America and Lorenzo gets started at the racetrack even though Gianna doesn't care for it. They both go back to work and Gianna finds she is about to run into another problem and discusses it with Alessandro and she makes plans. Then after some time, Alessandro starts to act weird and she is not sure what's going on, and when she asks he evades the question. One day he comes home and asks her questions and when she thinks everything is ok things change again for the worst. A great storyline and the characters are very interesting. Exciting romantic suspense, and drama. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the Italian Lovers series. This book starts with Alessandro and Gianna still in Italy and in trouble. Alessandro's best friend Lorenzo rushes to Italy to help any way he can and meets Gianna. Alessandro and Gianna make their engagement official and dream of stating their lives together. They return to New York and Lorenzo decides to join them and practice on his racing. When Lorenzo arrives in New York, he meets Gianna's coworker and Gianna tries to warn him about her and her ex. Alessandro is also looking for locations for his restaurant and Gianna decides to work from home to avoid her coworker. Soon Alessandro starts to wonder about Gianna and Lorenzo. This book has more twists in the story and i think it is heating up. Alessandro is starting to doubt things and i think he is going to ruin his own dreams soon. I look forward to reading more to see what happens next and if Alessandro will find happiness.

Holy Tamolie!!!! This wild ride has you so close to the edge of your seat you'll feel like you're falling off. So Lorenzo gets Gianna, Alessandro and the grandparents out of jail. And life happens, back to all the problems that refuse to go away. But then...Charlotte (what a freaking witch) decides to try again to break up the engagement. She tells Alessandro that Gianna is cheating on him with Lorenzo and then.........yep, going to stop there. It's my own little cliffhanger. I just wanted to see how it feels to give one instead of get one. Anyway, this series is fantastic. You need to start at the first book so you can follow along with the storyline. Besides, why take a taste of your favorite dessert when you can have a full serving. And as I always say, if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first.

Romantic and suspenseful

**Presented with an ARC from the author via BookSprout in exchange for an honest review.**

Picking up smoothly from where the last book left off, we are brought back into Gianna and Alessandro’s world, getting to see their lives unfold in front of them once more. Close friends gather, and old rivals clash, as we see this episode in their lives unravel. Fast-paced and romantically charged, this book brings with it the future readers have been waiting for.

One note I will make, while struggling not to release any spoilers, is this: If one is so quick to believe a lie told by known liars, then one was looking for a reason to distrust all along.

If you have read the previous works of Avery North, books by Victoria Michaels, or Victoria Pinder, you will enjoy this book!

******SPOILERS******

Avery has just pulled together another story that is mind blowing. Alessandro and Gia are engaged now officially. They were released from the jail finding out a false report was made. They have an idea who made it but don’t act. They head back to NYC to move on with life. Alessandro’s best friend Lorenzo comes to visit for a month. Charlotte makes a play for him but he was warned about her. Now she’s mad and came up with a plan to break up the happy couple as she wants everything Gia has. Between Angelo and Charlotte they got Alessandro to think Gia is cheating with Lorenzo. Sucks they break up and Lorenzo is left in the dark. I am so read for the next part in this story.

This is the fourth book in the Italian Lovers Series by Avery North. This is a continuation of Alessandro and Gianna's story. After getting back from their vacation Gianna learns that Charlotte will be back in her department again. In order to avoid stress at work she decides to work from home. Alessandro’s friend from Italy comes to stay with them for a month and Alessandro starts acting strange. Is he having second thoughts concerning his relationship with Gianna? Will being accused of false accusations cause the end of their relationship? Will Alessandro realize what is happening before he goes too far?

Once again let's jump back into the lives of Alessandro and Gianna as lies lay the foundation for the ongoing drama that's about to unfold. Working from home Gianna avoids stress from the arrival of Charlotte returning to her department. Charlotte as you know is a trouble maker. Setting her sights on Alessandro who she refuses to give up on. False accusations causes the break in their relationship. Will Alessandro find the truth or will the lies that are told be their downfall. Let's continue with the drama as all is not well in paradise.

Avery North has written a 5-star book. This book is part of a series and will leave you with a cliffhanger. Lorenzo has gone to help his friend, Alessandro, and his family. Alessandro and his girlfriend, Gianna have just gotten engaged and returned to New York. Lorenzo has gone to New York and he is staying with Gianna and Alessandro. Charlotte is a co-worker of Gianna's and she wants Alessandro so she causes trouble between Gianna and Alessandro.
Will Alessandro believe all the things that Charlotte tells him about Gianna and Lorenzo?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is the next part of Gianna and Alessandro's tale and I have to say it makes me want to bang my head against the wall. Gianna and Alessandro have returned to New York after a interesting trip to Italy. Along with them is his friend Lorenzo. Yes there is trouble in paradise caused by Charlotte stirring the pot.

Maybe I am confused, but knowing what trouble they have had with her and Gianna's ex , why their continuous interaction with them and not letting Lorenzo know all the history. So yes the title of the book does fit the story.

Alessandro's friend, Lorenzo, helps them out of their jam with the Italian police. He heads to New York with Alessandro and Gianna, intending to pursue racing dreams, while staying with them in her condo. Charlotte is being moved back into Gianna's department, so Gianna gets approval to work from home. Charlotte's not done stirring the pot, though. It almost seems like she still has her eye on Alessandro. I'm just loving this series, with suspense and plot twists galore. Stay tuned for Unexpected Attraction...

This series just keeps surprising me. This installment we have the happy couple and it looks like they may get their happily ever after, but wait. Charlotte is here to cause mayhem and drive a rift between Gianna and Alessandro. She just may do it too. This is full of action and betrayal. We also have Lorenzo working in the background. This is a great series, it has kept me on the edge of my seat and waiting for more. I love them each and everyone of them. They are great characters with a wonderful story to be told. I cannot wait to see what happens to Charlotte.

Why does it seem that men are willing to believe what others say about the love of their life? The story was moving along so happily until Charlotte and Angelo started making comments to Alessandro about what his friend Lorenzo and fiance Gianna do when they are alone together. And, of course, Alessandro decided to believe what both said because they sounded oh-so sincere. Bleh. What an idiot. Dag nab it. Now I have to wait for the next installment for him to come to his senses. Geesh. I highly recommend this story!

Just when I think things couldn't get worse, it does. Things are slowing getting back to normal for Gianna and Alessandro. They were released from jail after a false police report was made. Now they're back in New York with Lorenzo, who's come for month long visit. Jealousy rears it's ugly head, Alessandro stupidly falls for it. And just couldn't believe. It's was so obvious it was a lie, and he walked right into the trap. Gianna will be picking up the pieces of her broken heart in the next book. Hopefully, Alessandro will see what an idiot he was.

Possible spoilers if you haven't read the series. This is a great continuation of the series in which we follow the relationship of Gianna and Alessandro after their engagement. This is a great quick read and the writing is fantastic. You are immediately pulled into the story and completely invested into the characters. You are even able to jump into the books mid-series as I did and follow along.

Please be aware that this book does contain a cliffhanger and you will need to read the next book.

Highly recommended if you love romance, mafia, and great writing.

Just when Alessandro and Gianna relationship seems secure, Charlotte, Gianna’s co worker, is out to ruin everything with her lies and jealousy. I really hate Charlotte!! When Alessandro accuses Gianna of cheating will this be the end of their relationship? This story ends in a cliffhanger so be aware. A really great read and I’m looking forward to the next book.

Ok this was a good story but I definitely struggled with accepting a few parts. I don’t wanna say much without giving anything away but how far are you willing to go with someone when you know they’re a rotten apple? I just don’t get it! On top of that if one is soooo easily persuaded to believe a lie then in my opinion they were looking for a way out already. Trust issues much?? Wanting to know what happens next and how it’ll be fixed or not...

This book is a carry-on from the last book.
I loved the last book and this one is no different from that one.
The story just flowed from start to finish for me. And what a story there is here.
I am wondering if the next book is a follow on as well. Can`t wait to read it.
The characters worked so well together and I had a great connection with them all as well.
I never found any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of the story.

I do recommend this book to others over the age of 18+

With the Mafia issue in Italy between their two families seemingly resolved, and even the hint of romance between their parents, Alessandro and Gianna’s blossoming romance now seems secure. They return to America and Alessandro looks for a suitable prospect to open his own restaurant. But jealousy lifts its ugly head - Gianna’s work colleague spreading malicious rumours and Alessandro now distrusts Gianna’s fidelity and breaks their engagement. How can the couple recover from this rift, or won’t they? Where is book 5?
I received this book as an arc and this review is entirely voluntary.

Another great addition to this series. This fast paced book brings more drama and deceit into the lives of Gianna and Alessandro. They are finally back home in America. As they start their lives together as an engaged couple, a jealous Charlotte tries to come in between Gianna and Alessandro. This one ends on a cliffhanger as a hot-headed Alessandro believes the worst.

Oh my word I can't believe after everything they've been through Gianna & Alessandro are even stronger but Charlotte's jealousy is about to ruin everything. Charlotte's jealousy almost cost them when they were arrested in Italy but now she has gone further by involving his friend Lorenzo. The cliffhangers in this series & the wait to read the next book is killing me.

Loving this novel. I am pleasantly surprised by the author because the storyline was a definite diffuser. Alessandro and Gianna's connection is magical.
