At First Sight: 50 Quick-Read Romances is a lovely collection of short romance stories written by award-winning contemporary romance author Alex Bailey. Need a quick pick-me-up? Don't have the time for a full-length novel? This is the book for you. Each of the 50 stories are perfect for that wait at the doctor's office, or when you just want to curl up with a hot cup of tea. All of the stories contain wonderful characters with a satisfying and hopeful ending. I highly recommend this collection to readers who love romance.

This book is a filled with delightful romantic short stories. These remind me of the kinds of stories that my mom used to read in various tabloid magazines from time to time. They are about flash fiction length with most stories only taking a few pages.

As a writer, I found them interesting to read because the author handles chance encounters, romantic tension, witty repartee, and the excitement of new romance well. Any author would do well to read some of these little stories and see how smoothly dialogue and other little details are handled.

For readers of traditional, clean, romances, I'd highly recommend this collection. You'll always have something fun to read.
