No Zombies here , but who needs them. There’s enough trouble with other people trying to kill you to steal from you. Attacks must be dealt with harshly, even if that means that innocent bystanders are killed. Would you be able to survive , two years after a pandemic had killed most of the population of the world? A new normal life needs to emerge. Relationships are being formed and children are being born.
Everything seems to be going so well. But not for long. The small group of survivors continue to have to protect themselves against raiders. Things will be sure to get worse, before they get better.
So far, they’ve had it EASY, although they didn’t realise it. The easy availability of goods has been making them ‘soft’.
Lots of things left over from the pre-pandemic civilization are now starting to run out.
They will need to continue to adapt to their new world. Find out if YOU could manage to survive if you were placed in such a desperate situation.

It was a slow read with no real hype

I found that these books were very monotone. There were things that happened that could have been made suspenseful or thrilling or exciting yet each encounter no matter if it was dangerous or an injury just all seemed flat and the best way to describe was monotone. Disappointing as it could have some serious potential.

Good read

I just finished the series. It was a good read of the pandemic survivors coming together. No super soldiers or all knowing preppers. Just regular folks doing the best they could with the situation they found themselves in. Highly recommend!

Enjoyable read

Really enjoyable read. Characters are interesting and story easy to get engrossed in.Not full of violence and bad language. Would definitely recommend this series.
