Let me start by saying, I’ve enjoyed all 3.5 books in this series thus far. My problem isn’t with the stories themselves—they have imagination, heat and heart—but with the malapropisms. Examples: rouse vs ruse, delights vs daylights, messaging vs massaging, renewed vs renowned, ally vs alley, tested vs tasted, feel vs fell, steel vs steal...I could go on and on. I found them, and a multitude of grammatical and tense errors, hopelessly distracting. Did no one proofread these books?

I was sent a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
This is the first of Natalie's books I've read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We meet Xanran who is a dragon shifter working for a black market boss and with whom he shares a very steamy encounter. But then he finds himself in a compromising situation that changes his whole life.
This is a prequel to a series that promises to be really good. It is MM, steamy, hot, descriptive and I'm loving where it's going so far.
Very highly recommend - a story very easy to read and hard to put down.

First Thrill By Natalie Wish

A well written short story. I only have two complaints. First, it was too short. It would've been great as a longer version. Second, I didn't like the ending.
