Author Crystal Neubauer has given us a thoughtful and insightful book in Unstuck. By presenting a common problem, even if it is not often talked about, namely, that we can get stuck in certain patterns and routines that are quite often harmful to ourselves and others. The author gives helpful tools and situations that will help you identify if you are indeed stuck in a pattern and if so, how to begin on breaking yourself out of it. Many of the tips are written with a spiritual and religious aspect in mind, allowing God into your life and having him help you in your life by having him fight alongside you.
While I found many of the advice interesting and possibly helpful, I was unsure about the heavy emphasis on religion herein. Someone who is not religious and is not very spiritual, might be better off with getting a different book. Other than that, this book is worthwhile to check out.

I have to admit, I chose this book for the cover! The cover art drove home the title and captured the theme of this book tremendously. Crystal Neubauer uses great life illustrations to help us tackle a problem that haunts everyone now and again. We get stuck. I enjoyed each of her analogies. She stays true to scripture and points her readers to Christ. With a bit of editing this book could easily move to four or five stars.

I was given this book to read in exchange for an honest review.
