The Prophecy
Whoever sacrifices the virgin, Raven Cole, on her twenty-first birthday will achieve a great victory in the war between good and evil.
That’s bad news for Raven. Half-vampire, half witch, and cursed from the moment she was born, Raven has been a prisoner of the fire-demons for the last seven years. Now, as her twenty-first birthday approaches, time is running out.
Kael Hunter believed he would do anything to stop the fire-demons from winning. Until he saw her. Now, rather than kill the alluring vampire himself, Kael has another plan: to prevent the prophecy by taking Raven’s virginity.
But Raven is prepared for death not seduction. Can Kael use their one night of passion to convince her she has a future – and that he should be a part of it?

The Darkness
All magic has a price. And now the balance is overdue.
A witch with the power to see the future, Gina led a sheltered existence until the vampire, Darius Cole, crashed into her life, abducting her, seducing her, forging an emotional bond between them. Then circumstances tore them apart and the bond faded. Until twenty-one years later when they are drawn together to save their daughter.
But while their passion is rekindled and the bond renewed, Gina can offer Darius nothing, and she feels his bitterness and the Darkness within him, threatening to take control. Only she has the power to draw him back, but how can she when her very life is forfeit?

Witch's Moon
A witch and a werewolf—a match made in hell.
Regan is about to play a leading role in someone’s plans for world domination. And all they need to do to ensure her cooperation is bite her.
Regan doesn’t do scared. It’s not who she is. But right now, she’s panicking. Being a werewolf is dangerous and one wrong step could mean the End of Days. And the only person who can help is the stunningly gorgeous, embittered son of the werewolf who bit her.
Caleb Stone wants an ordinary life. After a horrendous childhood, he fled the pack and now does a pretty good job of pretending he’s human. Self-delusion at its best. The last woman he wants to get involved with is a witch turned werewolf. However explosive the chemistry between them.
But soon it becomes clear that Regan and Caleb need each other, and together they’re going to uncover secrets that will turn both their lives to chaos.

Growing up in the cold, wet, north of England, Nina Croft spent a lot of time dreaming of faraway sunnier places and ponies. When she discovered both, along with a whole load of other things, could be found between the covers of a book, her life changed forever.

Later, she headed south, picked up the perfect husband along the way, and together they volunteered to work in Africa. There they discovered a love of exotic places and a dislike of 9-5 work. Afterward they spent a number of years travelling (whenever possible) intermingled with working (whenever necessary.) Eventually they stumbled upon a remote area in the mountains of southern Spain and the small almond farm they now call home.

Nina spends her days reading, writing and riding her mare, Gencianna, under the blue Spanish skies—sunshine and ponies. She reckons this is proof that dreams really can come true if you want them enough.

Nina's writing mixes romance with elements of the paranormal and science fiction

THE PROPHECY is the first novella in Nina Croft’s contemporary, adult, DAUGHTERS OF THE MORRIGAN paranormal romance series. This is witch/vampire hybrid Raven Cole, and shape-shifter Kael Hunger’s story line.

Told from third person perspective THE PROPHECY follows in the wake of a prophecy foretelling of a virgin sacrifice that will achieve great victory in the war between good and evil. Twenty years earlier, Raven Cole was sent to live with her father, in an effort to keep the prophecy from being fulfilled. As the daughter of a witch with the sight, Raven has seen the future, and the future does not bode well for our storyline heroine. Trapped and imprisoned by fire demons, Raven will come face to face with her future-shape shifter Kael Hunter-and the man with whom she will fall in love. What ensues is the quick building romance and relationship between Kael and Raven when Kael makes Raven an offer she cannot refuse.

THE PROPHECY is a quick read; a story of greed, power, war and betrayal. Beaten and battered, Raven struggles to survive only to realize that all is for naught if the prophecy were to come true. Discovering Kael Hunter in her cell, Raven must come to terms with her future, a future that may not include the man with whom she will fall in love. The premise is engaging; the romance is quick and passionate; the characters are broken but determined.

THE DARKNESS is the second instalment in Nina Croft’s contemporary, adult DAUGHTERS OF THE MORRIGAN paranormal, romance series. This is vampire Darius Cole, and witch Gina’s story line. THE DARKNESS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Gina and Darius) THE DARKNESS is a second chance romance between vampire Darius Cole, and witch Gina. Twenty-one years earlier Darius discovered he fathered a daughter named Raven whose birth and death were prophesized to achieve victory in a war between good and evil. To protect the child, Darius ran until he could run no more ending with his daughter missing, and our hero barely alive. Fast forward to present day wherein the darkness is about to take down our story line hero until a voice from the past brings with it too many memories, anger and pain of loss and betrayal. Enter witch Gina, a daughter of the Morrigan, and the woman Darius both hates and loves. What ensues is the rekindling romance between Gina and Darius, and the potential fall-out as Gina’s visit comes with an expiry date as does her life.

THE DARKNESS is a quick story of family, betrayal, lies and loss. The premise is fast paced and inviting; the romance is passionate; the characters struggle to move on from the past.

WITCH’S MOON is the third instalment in Nina Croft’s contemporary, adult DAUGHTER OF THE MORRIGAN erotic, paranormal romance series. This is two-thousand year old witch Regan, and werewolf Caleb Stone’s story line. WITCH’S MOON can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Caleb and Regan) WITCH’S MOON follows in the aftermath of an attack against our story line heroine. Regan is a powerful witch, a daughter of the Morrigan, the goddess of war and pestilence, but a woman who now struggles with a dual personality as a result of a deliberate werewolf bite. Targeted by the alpha of the pack, for reasons only known to the man in charge, Regan will come face to face with her would-be rescuer, a man who fights his own destiny and DNA. Enter Caleb Stone, the son of the alpha, and the man with whom Regan will fall in love. What ensues is the building but acrimonious relationship and romance between Caleb and Regan, and the potential fall-out as Regan’s past demands a second chance.

Caleb Stone has denied his heritage for far too long. Abused and tortured by his father, Caleb walked away from the pack, never to look back but something about father’s forced transformation of the woman he would grow to love pushed our hero to reconsider all that he was.

The relationship between Regan and Caleb begins as a rescue but Caleb wants nothing to do with Regan’s need for independence, and her constant chatter and line of questions. Now a witch/werewolf hybrid, our heroine’s inner animal is constantly pulled towards Caleb’s beast. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

All of the previous story line couples including Regan’s sisters Catrin, Gina and Lola, play secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to Caleb’s father Ethan Stone, as well Fire-demon Sardi, and several members of Ethan’s pack.

WITCH’S MOON is a story of family, betrayal, vengeance and love. The premise is intriguing and engaging; the characters are energetic and colorful. I struggled a little bit with the romance-I didn’t quite feel the connection between our leading couple.

I received copies of these books from the author as they were released. My reviews are voluntary.

The Prophecy

A nicely written short story that has it all. A death prophecy, witches, vampires, fire demons, and sexual attraction between two people (loose term) that have nothing in common except, well, sexual attraction. I am looking forward to finding out more about the beings I met in this story.

The Darkness

Book 2 continues the story by taking up with Darius and Gina, a pair of star crossed lovers if I ever saw one. She has saved her daughter's life, but now she must pay for using the earth magic that stopped the sunrise and allowed Raven to escape unscathed. Gina just wants to be sure that Darius will be safe, and maybe get one last night in his arms. But her sister has set the hellhounds on her and her time is running out.

Witch’s Moon

Book 3 of the series brings us our first chance to really know Regan. She has seemed to be a witch with a capital B in the previous two books, but when she is ambushed and bitten by a werewolf she is not quite so haughty. She is rescued by Caleb, who has an unusual relationship with werewolves. It turns out that it was his father that bit and turned Regan and he is the only werewolf in his pack that was born and not "made".

Caleb turned his back on his father, his pack, and the whole supernatural world. He has chosen to live as a human and since the full moon does not force him to shift he rarely lets his wolf out. When he hears a woman scream and goes to investigate he realizes he has stuck his foot back in the door of crazy. He takes Regan home with him to heal her and is not sure why he and his wolf are so worried about her. He tries to warn her about her first shift but can tell she doesn't believe him. He is conflicted about getting any more involved in the dealings of witches and werewolves.

Regan is an old and powerful witch. She is sure there is a way to undo the werewolf change, she just has to find it. Meanwhile, she also has to figure out who is behind her forced transition and figure out how to keep her sisters safe. When Caleb shows up to help her with her first shift she is glad to have his help, and happier to wake up naked with him in the morning!

Witches, werewolves, demons, vampires, and shapeshifters come together in this tale of power struggles and revenge.

I loved this boxset, with 3 daughter of the Morrigan (the goddess of war and pestilence) they are powerful women (although technically Raven is the Morrigan's grandchild). The first book (The Prophecy) is on Raven, who has a prophecy that semi curses her life, and potentially could end her life, but luckily Kael finds her and will do anything to help her survive. Raven is a strong, feisty woman who has survived torturous conditions that would break many others, Kael is easy to love with his protective nature, and how far he will go to help.
The second book (The Darkness) is on Gina (Raven's mother) and Darius (a vampire and Raven's father), where Gina needs to balance the magical debt she owes, and the cost might be bigger than Darius even suspected. Will Darius finally get Gina, after all these years? Or will he be left alone without her? Both Darius and Gina were another worthy pair, and I loved their story.
The third book (Witch's Moon) is Gina's sister Regan, who loves having control of everything, losing some of it when someone plans to make a play for more power and they capture her and she is bitten by a werewolf. She is lucky that Caleb is around and he decides to help her. Caleb can't help, but be attracted to the beautiful spirited witch. Will Regan push him away? Or will he do it first? I loved this push pull pair, Caleb can be a bit frustrating, but they are easy to love and certainly cause their own mayhem.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received, and giving my thoughts and opinions on it.

Loved it! All 3 of these stories jump out and get you right from the start. Poor Raven has been held and tortured from many years because of a prophecy that calls for a virgin. In swoops the hero who figures the best way to fix that is not to be one anymore and he is more than up for the job. The next book is about the parents of Raven and explains a bit about what happened between them. I loved it, but it was kinda sad because the magic to save her daughter comes with a high price. But in comes Morrigan to give Darius a helpful piece of advice that will pay the price but give him forever with Gina. Win win there. And the last book in the omnibus is about Regan who is a very arrogant witch who thinks she knows it all. Well guess what she doesn’t and she figures that out real quick. Caleb is still denying that he is anything other than a human and werewolf. He fights it every step of the way and it makes for some good clashes between him and Regan. The author did a wonderful job building this world and I really want to know what happens with the other sisters so I will be looking for those books next.

This three book series about the daughters: Raven, Gina and Regan's adventures were engaging reads full of drama, action and romance. The men, their mates, that each get involved with: Kael Hunter, Darius Cole, and Caleb Stone were likable and engaging characters. Their personal stories were interesting and enjoyable to read in this box set. The stories include The Prophecy, The Darkness, and Witch's Moon.
The Prophecy
This story starts this series that is about Raven Cole who's been a prisoner of the fire-demons for the last seven years and has a prophecy hanging around her neck and Kael Hunter. Kael comes up with a plan to seduce her to break the prophecy. Will he succeed?
I'd volunteer to read and review this copy I'd received.

Nina Croft, where have you been all my reading life? I loved this boxset! Raven was courageous and I loved how Kael stopped at nothing to free her from the fire demons. Then Gina and Darius(he is hilarious in Reagans story) came along and had their second chance. AMAZING! Reagan stoled my heart. To me she was trying to do the right thing, at the time it was wrong, but right in the end. This was a page-turning adventure and well written. I look forward for more excitement in the Morrigan World.

But now when someone or something out of this world wants to come and rule, they will have to join with other supernatural and thereby find their mates. They are witches but their mates will not be.
