Pepper North brings you a new age play series! The Magic of Twelve will share the stories of twelve women transported on their 22nd birthday to a new life as the droblin (cherished Little one) of a Sorcerer of Bairn. These magicians are much older and physically larger than the woman linked to them at her conception as their destined one. It is the sorcerers' pleasure to take complete care of all their needs.

Here's a taste of Violet's story:

A deep voice came from the arched doorway to her right. “I wondered when you would arrive. It is 7:23. One minute after your birth, twenty-two years ago.” She twisted her neck quickly to look at him. He was massive - at least seven feet tall with a wide chest and shoulders. A black beard and mustache covered the lower third of his face. His black shiny hair was braided intricately down the back of his head and the tail of the braid lay thick and heavy over his shoulder. Dangling from his left ear was a polished, intricate steel earring.

“Ummmm, I’m not sure where I am. There must have been some mistake. I know this is going to sound crazy, but I just touched the surface of my old mirror and…” Violet attempted to explain.

“And you fell through the mirror landing here in my study,” he completed easily. “Welcome to your new life,” he said dryly. “I have been waiting for you to become an adult and come to me for many years, Violet. Now, let’s get you settled in,” the man began as he waved his hand in an intricate pattern through the air.

Violet felt her clothes begin to slide from her body. She attempted to hold on to each piece, but they slipped through her fingers. Finally, she stood in front of the strange man wearing only her white lace bra and panties. Wrapping her arms around herself to shield herself from his view, Violet blustered, “I don’t know how you did that, but you have no right to take my clothing, sir. Give them back immediately. Who do you think you are?”

With a casual wave of his hand, her arms straightened and froze by her sides. “Your old clothes are no longer necessary for you. You’re not in Atlanta anymore. Here, I decide what you wear or don’t wear.” He flicked his fingers and her bra and underwear disappeared.

The characters from the twelve novels in this series reappear to continue their stories. The novels are all complete stories. You do not need to read them in order, but Pepper thinks you may enjoy them more fully if you do! The books in this series will feature invasive medical treatments, including thorough examinations and enemas when required, as well as diaper changes, spankings and other punishments. If you are offended by age play (adults who choose to live as a Little or a parent of a Little), or dubious consent, this is not the book for you.

Droblin / pet / slave

I was angry from the first chapter. Violet is abducted from her family and they have bury their child. She is forced to be an infant little “you will adapt and be happy” and “being resistant to change will only make you miserable”. Littles have choices you took that away. Training his droblin with rewards/pleasure and punishment/pain as you would a pet or slave. Again no choice adapt or suffer. She is forced to be his magical/power boost because Earths leaders were abducted and were forced to sacrifice their own people to be returned safely to Earth. What happened to the leaders that didn’t agree, punished/killed? In the end she accepts her fate and him (Stockholm syndrome) again no choice.
The fact that Garrick was able to watch her grow up for 22 years (stalking) and using bits and pieces to make her pliable.

Had to force myself to finish because I love your Dr. Richards and Sanctum series. Kept hoping to feel better about the story but at the end I was just sad.

I read the beginning of the the next book to see how Marigold would be abducted. In a room of 20 young children that are familiar to her, how traumatized were they? Did she just disappear or die in front of them. Don’t know if I’ll read the second book, borrowed it already and marigold seems to be “adapting” faster since her past doesn’t seem to be very happy. No matter how big or pretty the cage is it’s still a cage. 🙁

Needs an Editor Stat!

When the prologue is bad you know there's a problem. I could not finish this book, the writing is awful. It desperately needs a good editor. The sentences are unnecessarily long and repetitive and make me want to get out my red pencil and start marking them up. I consume about 5 books a week and it's a rare book that I can't get through, but this was one of them. What's frustrating is being distracted from the character's and storyline due to the contradictions & repetitive nature of of the sentences. EX: It isn't necessary to state three different ways a flower is colorless/white in the same sentence. My guess is with a good editor this book would lose a third of it's unnecessary word count.

Reading on a mini Vaca

Omg!! I actually bought the series awhile ago and had started Violet and never finished.....I LOVE THIS BOOK!! A weekend away seemed like a great time to read when bored...or just needing an escape...If you've not read Magic of Twelve....you need to. Though its not too different from a lot of Pepper's ageplay book, which is not a bad thing at all, the addition of magic puts a whole new aspect on it. I definitely not disappointed in the slightest!

The dialogue is terrible

The dialogue is terrible, even for a Pepper North book. I was hoping to get better writing out of this series, but it’s worse than the current Dr. Richards books. DNF at 77%.

The Magic of Twelve: Violet is the first book in the Magic of Twelve series. On Violet’s twenty-second birthday, she’s magically transported into a whole new world, full of magic, a new lifestyle, a powerful sorcerer named Garrick who she can’t help but feel drawn to, and danger. But will Garrick be able to keep his little droblin safe and protected in this new life?

This is a series I’ve waited a long time to get started and I’m kicking myself about it now because I’m so excited about this series and I just fell in love with Garrick and Violet! Violet is independent and determined to try things first before just accepting Garrick’s rules, but I loved her playfulness, her openness to her new life, and I loved her journey into being a droblin. Garrick is powerful, strict at times, but I loved how dedicated to Violet he became. He was a fierce protector and willing to do anything to keep her safe in her new life. There’s a lot of age play and I loved that it was done within a paranormal setting, and I love that there’s a hint of the overarching storyline that’s just getting started! I am already looking forward to the next book in the series, but loved Violet and Garrick and their romance!

The Magic of Twelve: Violet kicked off a new age play series with a touch of magic and suspense. If you are familiar with Dr. Richards’ Little series, you’ll find the same kind of age play – diapers, bottles, enema, and naughty spanking.

Interwoven in background of each book in the series was the mystery of The Magic of Twelve. Dangerous situations, where a villain master was trying to separate them from their sorcerer pappas in order to steal their magical power, awaited all twelve of the baby girls or ‘droblin’ who traveled from earth to this magical world.

I had so much fun diving into this new paranormal world and would definitely continue with the series to meet all the special girls and see how they defeat the villain.

I volunteered to provide an honest review of an advance complimentary copy of this book.

Violet is shocked on her 22nd birthday when she is transported to a magical world and stunned to learn that she is designed to be the mate of a magic-wielding sorcerer who will protect her as his cherished droblin at all costs. Garrick has prepared for her arrival for hundreds of years when a mysterious stone appears in his garden. It links the twelve sorcerors of Bairn together for the first time and the men must combine their powers to ensure the safety of the young women selected for them by fate. Given the dangers they face, will the united front of these spellbinding Daddies be enough?

This was a fun book to read from the confusion of Violet when she arrived, to her defiance insisting that she could do things by herself, to her gradual acceptance that he was there to love and care for her and that it was ok to let him care for her as if she were a small child. Easy to read and understand. The book contains mature BSDM-like content of a DDLG nature. They are stand-alone but it is better to read them in order.

The Magic of Twelve: Violet is the first book of Pepper North’s series of the same name. In this paranormal romance, we meet Violet, a 22-year-old beautiful woman. She is independent, rebellious, and sometimes even defiant. These qualities endear her to a powerful sorcerer in another realm. Garrick is this sorcerer. He is drawn to her and is her fierce protector. As readers get to know Violet and Garrick it is evident that they have many layers. As is the norm in Ms. North’s books, the main characters’ romantic journey is threatened. In this book, the villain is a sinister sorcerer. I appreciated the vivid scenes. In particular, the kidnapping and captivity scenes are very descriptive. They provide a direct contrast to the peaceful settings of Garrick’s home and garden. I do not normally read paranormal books and was incredibly pleased with this one. I am going to read the rest of this series.

A very unique story concept!

This book was a lot of fun! Very unique from any romance and any age play books I've read before. It was a blend of both of those things AND sorcery/magic. Very unique.

This set up the series fantastically and I can't wait to see how things unfold. But what I'm really excited for is to see what happens after all 12 woman are with their sorcerer daddies.

I enjoyed Violet's rebellious/defiant streak. Those are always my favorite types of characters to read, those that are strong willed and strong minded. Gotta give that Pappa a run for his money! 😉

Ok so where to start…. First of all i likedthe book there ware some Areas that i felt could be improved butoverall the Story was good, it wasn't good enough to make me want to grab the next book in the series but if i had it laying around it wouldn't go unread.

This i liked
The Story idea
The characters (though some more Depth wouldn't be wrong)
the worldbuilding

Improvment worthy
edeting
Depth all around
pacing
flow some Areas feel somewhat choppy

But the Story was a quick read and the idea behind it could be great so it wasn't a waist of time.

Very Different, But Very Interesting

This was a little different than her age play books I have been reading, but I did enjoy the adventure. There is a lot of changes that these droblins have to get use to. It would be nice if they had a warning, but alas where is the adventure in that.

There is a lot of drama and action in this book and I imagine the little will have a red bottom a lot as she learns her new life. It is a very interesting ride I will admit.

Until Next Time... Tabi

A wonderful introduction to what looks like an interesting new series

We meet Garrick and Violet as he brings her into his world to be his drobbin . She will be his companion, enhancing his magic and he will love and take care of her forever. But she is kidnapped by an evil sorcerer. After Garrick rescues her they discover a stone that introduces The Magic of Twelve and so the story begins.

This is the first book in the series. We met Violet and Garrick. When Violet turned 22 she is transported to Garrick’s house and he is a Sorcerers of Bairn. She becomes his droblin. This is like Pepper’s Dr. Richards books but with a lot of magic. There is some mystery and I am assuming it will be delivered in book twelve. The one thing I want to know is where is Garrick’s house. Is this a special planet or what. I enjoyed the book and will read all twelve to see what happens. Enjoy

Violet Is Destined For More

This was interesting, not too far off her Dr. Richard's book, just added magic and a new world. Not much information given on the planet or planets that the Sorcerers lived. Some mystery involved in the story. But I'm not sure if I will follow up reading more of this series. I read this on KU.

A short and rewarding read...

Pepper North brings magic to the Age-play genre and for me it really worked....
The Magic of Twelve involves the Sorcerers of Bairns who are gifted droblins (littles) who when they reach the age of 22 are magically transported to their new Pappa’s... but evil is approaching....and I am hooked so will be looking forward to reading the next book...

Violet

Violet just celebrated her twenty second birthday. She had an old mirror but when she touched it she was transported some where strange. That is where she met Garrick and he explained what was going on. Can Violet reconcile? What lies ahead? What is the meaning of the Magic of Twelve? Nice story.

Violet

This is a good age play/fantasy story. The Sorcerers of Bairn are matched with humans to love and take care of, and Violet is the Little in this story. I enjoyed the story, although there was a bit of issue with the editing. This couple got their HEA, and I’ll be interested to see how the overall story develops.

I loved Violet and Garrick’s story. After Violet turns twenty two she is transported to another world, one full of magic, and to the sorcerer Garrick. Violet is Garrick’s droblin, but evil is approaching...will Garrick be able to keep Violet safe? A definite must read and one I enjoyed immensely.

Excellent story!

Pepper North has such a way of telling stories. Her kindness and caring with the characters is amazing. I have been reading her books for a while and I always come back to read them over and over. This story was wonderful and humorous. With just enough suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat and a beautiful ending.

I usually like Pepper North but I didn't care for this one. I was really hoping to like this because I love fantasy and the ddlg dynamic both and wanted to see them combined, but so many things bothered me. She can't see her parents again, as they think she's dead, and she just has to accept it? No thanks.

I liked this better than alot of other Pepper North stories, it was way more fun and adventurous with it taking place in a fantasy world of giant wizards.
Otherwise it’s typical Pepper North- not so much my thing but I loved the plot and all the different elements that basically forced Violet into accepting her new role.

Magical World

Let your mind wander in this fantasy work where Garrick waits for his drublin Violet. When she turns 22 she is ready to become his and leaves her world and enter his. She has to learn to listen and obey or consequences will come. Can she adjust?

This was a very different read - a fantasy take on Daddy dom and Little with magic thrown in. An unusual combination but it works. Interesting story - looking forward to where it goes in future books.

This is the story of the droblin Violet and her Pappa Garrick. I've never really been into paranormal or magical books but this was very interesting. It was a little strange to get into with the different wording but I did enjoy it.
