The chess puzzles are first rate. I appreciated having more story this time. My only complaint about the puzzles is that it slowed down my reading of the book because I would usually take a while on each (still working on my chess prowess). If you like chess and mysteries, this is one to check out. (full disclosure - Kevin and I went to high school together and when we played chess he would start without his queen to make it fair. I hope I could win with that handicap now, but we would have to play again to tell).
