A sweet swoon worthy first meeting of Marcus and Emma when he stopped in her check line while they were both on duty in Afghanistan. This definately got my attention because I could feel their attraction and could not wait to find out what would happen!

But right after they meet Marcus is MIA in an explosion and she can only hope he survived. One back in the states she keeps hoping she will receive a call from him and everything will turn out alright.

Loved this story can I so!!! I could not wait to see what would happen and I know you will be hooked too!

The Bridesmaid Rescue is an hold to your seat kind of book. Full of excitement, and secrets that will leave you hanging. Emma Taylor is a K-9 MP at the last checkpoint before the Marines head into battle at Kandahar. One of only 2 women at that checkpoint, she gets plenty of attention from the soldiers that are on their final stop before driving into the mist of enemy fire. She gets plenty of proposals, flirting, and entrainment as she checks the trucks before releasing them through the checkpoint. She meets Marcus Zane and something about him just clicks with her. For them it was love at first sight. And not long from the time they leave the checkpoint they hit enemy fire and the checkpoint is sent a message that Marcus is MIA. She keeps her hope that he will show up but months pass by and she doesn't give up. Several months later she is in Corpus Christi for her best friend's wedding and there is a couple of shots fired at a beach house next to theirs while the beach wedding is going on. She thinks she sees someone and decides instead of partying after the wedding she slips out to check the area she seen and who does she find but her Marcus! He is a sniper for a black ops mission. He decides then they could use Emma's skills. They get married under the name of Jack and Jane Smith and are sent to watch over two Marines that was on Marcus' team that was in a burn hospital and their lives are in jeopardy. But, as Emma finds out all their lives are in danger.

The Bridesmaid Rescue is a story about two marines who found love on the battlefield and their story after as part of an undercover operation. The Bridesmaid Rescue builds on characters from previous books in Texas Hotline series which gives the reader insight into their lives which is a nice bonus to Grafford’s series. Grafford’s descriptive writing is her superpower. She fills her stories with descriptions of her scenes, characters and moments, which also brings great romance in her relationships. She has a special ability to bring across understated conversations and narration that makes the reader smile and gives extra depth to her stories. I highly recommend this author and this series.

Loved Marcus and Emma's story!! Marcus is presumed KIA. Emma's still waiting for his phone call. Her best friend is wanting her to consider her stepbrother as Emma's next boyfriend. Emma can't get over Marcus. When Marcus returns, Emma joins him in his new quest, trying to bring down some homegrown bad guys. When someone they both trust turns out to be dirty, can they ever be together again??? This is such a great read!!!! If I were Emma, I'd have waiting for that call as long as it took, too!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is my own.

This is a great "love at first sight" book! Emma and Marcus meet at a check point in Afghanistan and it's love at first sight for both of them but within minutes, Marcus is involved in an explosion and thought to be killed! Emma just doesn't believe it and waits by the phone for his call for months! Everyone tells her to get on with her life but she can't! Will she see Marcus again or not? She's later drafted to go undercover and boy, the things that happen!!!! This is an amazing love story, military shenanigans and wait until you see who the mole is regarding the stolen arms!!!! So much great stuff in this book! I loved it!

Loved Marcus and Emma's story. After one chance meeting Emma and Marcus felt a deep connection. It was so strong Emma shared her contact info with him, something she never does. Then Marcus became MIA and Emma had to hold on to hope he would be found. What a ride! A lot more happened, but I don't want to spoil anything. I did have several gasping moments as things were revealed on the pages. If you like clean, inspirational stories with intrigue, you can't go wrong with, 'The Bridesmaid Rescue'. I highly recommend. I received this book from the publisher. The thoughts and comments are my own.

Fantastic story! This book will definitely keep you on your toes, my emotions were tossed all over the place. So much action and under cover work with danger lurking throughout every page., along with a hunky hero who gives his all to protect and serve with so much on the line. Such a fun story with a sweet romance thrown in to wrap it all up in a story that will knock your socks off!

This clean romantic suspense book is part of a series about heroic men and women willing to step up to protect others. In this book, Marcus is proven to be alive though presumed dead by his fellow marines and his family. His new assignment leaves him in the shadows but still able to reconnect with Emma. Soon she joins him (as his wife) in a convoluted mission that grows stranger by the day. The entire story was suspenseful and romantic. I thoroughly enjoyed this light fast read

The Bridesmaid Rescue is a clean, heart stopping, thrilling romance. As Paul Harvey would say "This is the rest of Marcus and Emma's story." Can be read as a stand alone, but will be even more satisfying if the previous two books have been enjoyed. This well written book will keep your interest with thrills, chills and twists throughout. I could not do anything else until I finished reading this exciting journey!

A Very Compelling Book!!

This book hooked me from the beginning to end. A magical romance that had to fight so many obstacles to be together. The characters seem so real and relatable. The ending was explosive and totally unexpected. You think you know a person then true colors are shown and it drops you to your knees. I would suggest reading the books in order to get the full experience. Most characters are in all the books. An awesome series so far!!

Action-packed, but still clean! Well done! I loved how these two MCs had a unified purpose and the determination to follow through. Their faithfulness is something missing in so many of today’s relationships. That they looked to God for help, but also practiced their faith in daily behavior was an awesome thing to see. If you’re looking for a short, clean, action-packed, inspirational romance, this could be a good book to try.

I did enjoy this book. Like the previous books the storylines are basically the same but this one was much more interesting, because of the wonderful reunion between friends. There were some scenes that I felt like the author should not have eliminated. It would’ve been great to have seen the reunion between Marcus and Axel. This series, each book is more like a Novella but they are fun and quick to read.

I loved this book. I really hope you skip reading any reviews with spoilers because you need to read it for yourself. Jo Grafford really outdid herself with this story. Not only a great story line, interesting characters, humor, romance, danger and a few twists you won’t see coming. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Best Story of the Series!

Finally the full story of Marcus Zane and Emma. After reading bits and pieces about them in previous books in the series, we are treated to a robust, thrill ride Marine soldier style. A fast and furious romance under dangerous conditions, I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

Great story

I pray that all the evil double-crossers targeting our military get their just reward!
This story is great fiction & well-written but holds a nugget of truth. May God bless our military, encourage them to remain honorable & help their families to remain strong & courageous through the super hard times & separations as they serve together.

This love at first sight military story was full of mystery and intrigue. My heart went out to this couple as they were not sure they would see each other again. An inside enemy separates them and is trying to kill one of them. But the love that binds them together never lets them give up.

Waiting for a ghost to call...

Oh, this book has lots of tears, sad, happy, relieved, it is a fantastic book, although there is a cross over with The Secret Baby Rescue and the timelines crossing can be a little confusing, but I still LOVED it!

This story is simply beautiful. We briefly meet Marcus in another story. He goes to marry Emma then. And he does in this one. Their love is great. I loved this story so much. I didn't want it to end. Great job. Had me in years at the end.
