I haven't read any of Ava's books for a while and when i saw Asher's release I just had to jump into the paranormal world of Dark Falls. This is the first book I've read in this series, I'll have to go back and read Jagger. However, I could follow Asher well considering I hadn't read the previous book.
I liked Asher, I felt an instant connection to him the moment the book started. It took me a while to warm up to Savannah, but as the end approached it showed us her attitude and power come from somewhere. I won't go into details, because you'll need to read it. Lol! But, if you like PNR, a fast paced story, alpha characters...then this will be a book for you.

New beginnings
Ashers time in the Military is over & he knows he cannot return to a Pack with an abusive Alpha, after a confrontation with the Packs Beta; Asher knew it was time to leave for ever. Asher knew being on his own would not end well, so finally he reached out for help; he called his friend & mentor Jagger who not only got him a job as a detective with Dark Moon Falls Police department but also a place within the pack. Asher is struggling with the unconditional love and Kindness given to him from the Pack & his new Alpha Elias. After his first day of introduction Jagger is taking him to his home they find Jaggers Mate Storm fighting off Nash a rouge wolf who is demanding Savannah’s whereabouts. Asher never saw it coming when he met Savannah how much all there lives were about the change. They were each other’s mate; Savannah has a secret she’s been hiding, not even her friend/Boss Storm or her mate Jagger know what she’s been running & hiding from. The one thing Asher & Savannah have in common is they have been on there own for so long they need to freely accept help unconditionally from the Pack & Also Trust others. All is about to change for them all.

Asher just wants a peaceful new life in Dark Moon Falls. He had his fill of action when he was in the militay. Seems fate has other plans for this shifter though!
Savannah is clearly hiding from someone or something. And Asher just feels himself being pulled into her maelstrom of mystery! Savannah believes she and her family are cursed and she is terrified of wreaking havoc on the town.
OMG I loved Asher and Savvi! They just leap off the page and into you heart! You can feel Asher being torn about his need for peace and also to help his mate. Sometimes you just need to give in to fate and except that you are not destined for easy!

If you have been reading this author than you know this is that gets your attention. Asher is with the Dark Falls police which makes him yummy already. He also has to get used to the new way of things in this pack. They are different than what he is used to. Than there is Savannah whom turns out to be like him was by themself for a long time until coming here. Oh and they are mates that have to learn to trust each other. You are quickly drawn into this with you seeing where they go and the events that play out.

Asher not only has to readjust to civilian life but to a new town, a new job and a new pack where pack means family, not something He is use to.
I like Asher, he has a lot of adjustments to make and Savanna is hiding something that will surprise everyone.
If you like danger, drama and passion, heat level high! Then you’ll love Asher, it’s one hell of a start to his new life.

Fantastic
I love all of Ava's books, and this one was no exception. The wolves of Dark Moon Falls are wonderful.
The characters are strong, and loyal. The love scenes are hot, and the details are all there.
I would recommend the entire series to anyone who likes a hot wolf and good story.

Another great story in the Dark Moon Falls series. This is fast paced, steamy and action packed story. Asher comes to Dark Moon Falls for a job and to become part of the pack. He's had a bad experience with his previous pack. He meets Savannah who has been hiding her powers because of the nature of her powers. There is an instant attraction when they meet. Can they trust each other and find love?

Asher is the new guy in town, but he acclimates to his surroundings quite well, which includes an attraction he can't deny. There are secrets, there are threats and there is some red hot passion!! I definitely recommend Asher!! Enjoy!!
