This author has given us a pretty solid, somewhat angsty and dramatic debut. Logan and Abby have always had each other, but the second Logan finally opens his eyes to realize just HOW he’s got Abby, everything goes sideways. His ex has to remain in his life, Abby has serious struggles in her own life, and Logan repeatedly shows his stupidity by letting her down and running away. And when he finally gets it together, Abby isn’t willing to just take whatever he feels like giving. Oh, no. Abby knows her worth and wants a true partner. So Logan has to take a good look at himself, then decide if he and Abby are really meant to be.
I’d say this is a good 3.5-4⭐️ read and the author definitely shows potential here. She doesn’t shy away from some hard situations and I think she’ll continue to deliver with Chase’s story.

This is the first book of the Savage Brothers series & my first read by Teigan. It's a friends-to-lovers, second chance (of sorts) romance with plenty of drama and misfortune, but ends with a HEA.
This story is so tragically beautiful. My emotions were wrecked. Logan & Abby's story is one for the record books. The situations/issues the characters encounter are intense and heartbreaking. I was sucked in from the first chapter & became invested in the characters' lives immediately. The struggles they face are so realistic, it makes the story that much more powerful.
I would definitely recommend this read! I'm looking forward to reading more about the rest of the Savage Brothers.
