"It is a pleasure to have a full length treatise on this most important topic, and may this focus on transfer become much more debated, taught, and valued in our schools." - John Hattie

I really liked this, but a lot of it is the Backward Design method I learned in graduate school with new terms. Good reminders and some great question leads, but I was hoping it would have more new concepts than what I pretty much already do. Great read for all curriculum teachers though, especially if you haven’t used Backward Design.
An absolute essential for teachers, full of best practice for taking concept-based teaching to the next level. We should all aspire to this -- if only the modern education system and teacher education would catch up.
