The Lost Alpha Queen is an RH shifter romance full of mystery and plot twists that’ll keep you guessing what’s going to happen next until the end especially with that cliffhanger! If you love a Heroine who has character development from start to finish with the journey she has to go on which includes finding out all of the secrets to her past while learning who to trust and juggle all of these new relationships, you’ll love Rebekah! Rebekah develops from this girl who just goes along with what ever happens to a strong back boned take no crap women and I loved the development. There’s plenty of mystery and secrets to unfold and of course villains to figure out who they are and what their plans are that you might not see coming. Her men all have a different personality and all mesh well but can be overbearing at times. Rebekah’s guys are in for it though when they realize how strong their mate is and what she won’t take. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

A great first book by Kim Ward. Yes its a slow burn RH story but i found the lead character - Rebekah engaging. Shes pretty much a loner at her school but events turn for her when she starts to find out her background and her destiny as The Alpha Queen of The Blackwood Devils Wolf Pack. I genuinely liked Rebekah with all her wit and sarcasm. On the other hand her Alpha's/Mates - Brandon, DD, Deven and Aric just did my head in. I understand that half of what they did they felt was for the best but to not include or more or less exclude Rebekah from it all was just asking for trouble. I really wanted her to get a little bit of payback for all of that happened. I was in complete agreement with Rebekah and how she confronted/handled everything that happened to her. So much plot twists and turns that i certainly kept you on your toes and i liked that it did. Its a cracking start and im looking forward to the next book

Not going to lie, the cover of this book drew me in. It did not disappoint either. So here we have Rebekah who is just counting the days down til she is done with school. She has a friend at school only one because for some reason no one wants to be friends with her anymore. Now her one friend is questionable. Then something happens and everything changes for Rebekah. She shifts and her whole like changes. Then a mysterious tattoo appears. She goes through a lot of emotions. She grieves for her losses and skeptical about what she is gaining. Who can she trust? She meets her mates and yes they are hot as sin. She even got twin brothers as mates. Like lucky girl right. Well that is not the only thing. There is a lot of action and betrayals. It is exciting to read and I loved it. However, if you are wanting to know if there is smexy times in this book. It is very light and a really slow burn. The story though was amazing. I cannot wait to read more of this series.

This is a slow burn paranormal reverse harem. The mc is strong. There is a lot of twists and turns with a lack of communication. There is a love hate relationship with all the mates and the mc. I'm interested to see where this series goes.

Shifters, romance and RH heck yes sign me up! The Lost Alpha Queen was all of that and so much more. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I starting reading this one but I can tell you it completely blew my mind. A story that truly keeps you guessing until the end filled with so many ups and downs. Moments of awe, moments of tears and moments where I seriously needed to throw or punch something. There are so many moving parts to this story and so much that we still don’t know. The secrets just keep piling up not to mention the feeling of betrayal which seriously ripped me to shreds but let me tell you Rebekah and everything, she has been through so much throughout her life and she still manages to have this beautiful outlook in life and then she is hit with one thing after another and still holds her heard up high and takes her place like a true Queen. BISH YESSSSS…. Lord help her guys they are in for it for real. I don’t think they ever expected such a strong independent mate but they are about to learn today… I cannot wait to see what happens next!!!!

I really liked the storyline of the story. It is intriguing and extremely interesting. It is a unique blend of action and drama with a bit of mystery. The only issue I have is at times parts of the story feel left out or skimmed over. At the end of the book a couple of questions are answered but other times throughout the story I was asking what happened to this or that. However, it is a fantastic storyline that really drew me in. Even though somethings were skimmed over it wasn’t enough for me to put it down and say forget it. Rebekah is feisty and strong but also has those moments where you can tell she is young and young-minded in thinking. Her mates are a mixed bag of emotions. At times you love them and then other times you hate them. I hope going forward we see them growing. Other then what I have mentioned before the writing is excellent and the story itself draws you in. The ending was unexpected and I am excited to see where it leads.

Definitely needs work.

I tried really hard to keep an open mind while reading this, knowing that it's the authors debut novel. I really, truly did. It was just so difficult to read. The many punctuation errors is something that could be fixed in future books with more editing, beta and ARC readers, so that doesn't hold much sway in my overall rating, although it is definitely something I hope the author looks into.

Much of the books just feels like the FMC is rambling. It gives the book an overall rushed feeling and makes it all very confusing and hard to follow. The timelines jump around too fast, with little to no description of what's going on. When the book switches POV, it doesn't mention whose POV it is, so I also takes away from the story by making the reader have to figure it out based on context alone.

I really hate giving one star reviews and I wish I could give a higher one, but the book needs a lot more work for me to be able to do that.

Not a win for me

This book was a tough read. This is the Authors debut book so I try to be more lenient since they are just starting. I had high hopes for this book because I love a good Alpha female. But this book unfortunately didn't meet the bar for me.

I liked the character intially but throughout the book I feel like the characters just got lost. She was too wishy washy for me. The betrayal in this book is real...and plenty. It was coming at the main character from everywhere I felt so bad for her.

The guys (and pack) in this book need a good knocking around. The way they treated her was crazy. I hate to say it but I really did like her mates 😬 and didn't feel like they really redeemed themselves.

Overall I had to push through to finish this book. I think the author just needs to work on consistency with the characters for book two.

I enjoyed this book, really good storyline, I wish there would have been just a bit more growth for the FMC instead of going from who she was a loner human to *BAM* a BA wolf shifter gaining her powers and ready to take the world on. I wish we got to see a bit more of that journey then it just jumping to it.

I loved the guys in the beginning they seemed perfect for her then they started being a little shady. I am still on the fence about them.

There was lots of drama and conflict, big secrets are being kept, who can she trust and who can’t she trust. It has a nice mix of everything.

I won’t post any spoilers. This author did very well for her debut and I will definitely read book 2.

I loved how snarky and funny Rebekah was. She has loved her entire life thinking that she had a normal girl…to being dropped into a supernatural world the first time to she shifts. Life gets crazy quickly, as she’s pulled into a world that she knows nothing about, and is tested at every turn by her mates and the alphas in the pack. I wanted to hit the boys often as they tended to discount her feelings for the pack. They are insensitive often, but it’s because they don’t know what to make of someone who is as forceful as Rebekah is. She will not let anyone make a fool of her. In fact…I’m a little scared for the guys because they have no idea what they’re in for. Rebekah wants her mates, but she wants them as equals….and she is no one’s pawn.

What a great debut!! Rebekah’s life got turned upside and she only came out stronger! Everything she thought she knew and who she thought she was, turned out to be false. With her new life as a wolf and as Alpha Queen she has to learn all about a new world and how to navigate it. This new world is overwhelming, not to mention she suddenly has five mates. I loved how they were her mates, but there was still conflict in their relationship and it wasn’t just perfect the whole time. (This is probably normal, I just don’t read much paranormal 😂)

Kim Ward’s ideas for this book/series are amazing and I can’t wait to see Rebekah grow even more as a character. After that ending, I need to see how this plays out!

I had some mixed feelings about this book, but overall it was a decent read. As this is Kim Ward's debut novel, I was more forgiving in my assessment as she is just getting started as an author and all. The characters were interesting and intriguing, the relationships were great, the world and plot are definitely captivating as well. The problem was within the actual writing. It was rather choppy at points, with some editing issues, as well as slightly awkward writing with run on sentences, excessive unnecessary descriptions, etc. There is a lot of great potential here though, and I am excited to see how the rest of the series develops, because I loved the plot and characters and I know everyone's writing gets better with each book they work on!

I loved this story! Kim takes you on an amazing ride through the transitions in Rebekah’s life from a regular high school senior to becoming The Alpha Queen of The Blackwood Devils Pack. Rebekah’s journey in learning how to become the strong leader necessary to rule The Blackwood Devils Wolf Pack is an experience unto itself. The ups and downs, the obstacles she faces and overcomes is a testament to her strength of character. Rebekah’s journey with her men is a roller coaster of emotions. I didn’t know if I loved or hated her men, it depended on which part of the story I was reading. I will confess to weeping in a spot or two.

I can't rave about this book enough!! It has lust, anger, alot of anger, stupid men and a storyline that will have you screaming at your screen one minute and laughing the next.

Rebekah is like every other girl until one day her life takes an unexpected turn. Her life literally gets turned upside down and inside out and her heart take on a bit of damage along the way too. With 5 mates in her future and the responsibility of the packs on her shoulders, she's allowed to have a few freak outs.

Kim Ward is an amazing author and you will love everything about this book and every other in the series.

Wow, what a ride this book is. It is actionpacked and has so many twists and turns that I'm in love with this book. Then again I love shifters. But what they didn't expect is this girl is an alpha queen and no one can order her around. Watching how she deals with all of what is coming her way is awesome. Her mates however think it's best to keep her safe and don't always tell her what they are doing and plotting. Rebekah doesn't like that one bit nor should she. I love the guys none the less and love DD, Deven, Brandon and Aric. It's a slow burn but a good one and there still is plenty fun to read about!

This book is incredible!

The Lost Alpha Queen is the amazing debut book by Kim Ward.

Rebekah is a fierce, strong and resilient young woman. She finds out that her whole life has been a lie and she is not only a wolf shifter but an Alpha Queen and she has multiple mates. Rebekah not only lost the one person that raised her but now is part of a pack that doesn’t really give her a warm welcome.

This book is filled with lies, deceit and betrayal and has twists and turns you won’t see coming. If a strong fierce FMC, sexy fated mates and slow-burn romance then you need to read this book!

Kept me up half the night!

I can't believe this is an embryo author! Everything about this book drew me in, from the beautiful cover to the intriguing plot. This is a slow burn rh. Rebekah is a strong FMC, who falls into a life she never expected. I loved the balance of her characters sarcasm and strong will, though she's going to have a lot of growth coming her way if she's going to contend with her 4 Alpha Mates.

This book is a really great debut. There's a lot of twists and turns, combined with a love hate relationship, I can't wait to see where the story goes from here

Kim Wards first book and already a hit for me.

This is kind of a slow burn RH story about Rebekah who thinks she is just an ordinary girl. But actually she is a (wolf)shifter.

This story is full of mystery and plot twist that you aren't able to see coming.

This story is well written throughout all the transitions Rebekah experiences and this made it so good for me, this isn't a book that goes from 1 point to point 36 in 2 pages.

If this first book is so amazing I can't wait to see how Kim Ward will write in the next few years.

This book was so good! I couldn't put it down and read it all in one sitting! I'm not usually a fan of PNR or slow burns, but something about this book called to me and I was not disappointed. With all the twists and turns, lying, hiding secrets, and sweetness of Rebekah's guys, this made for a fabulous story. However, I do think that Aric, Brandon, DD, and Deven should have had to do more to get back on Rebekah's good side.

I am now unpatiently waiting for book 2 in this story, as the cliffhanger is incredibly intense.

Must read

I devoured this book in a day and a half. The characters are amazing. The setting is good. I don’t mind the slow burn the story has. Rebekah is just trying to make it through her last year of high school. Something happens and she ends going to live with her family she never knew she had. She is to become queen of the pack. She has her mates. She thinks everything is fine. Until something happens and she ends up away from her mates and family. Can’t wait to read more and see if she makes it back to her mates.

OMG, what an amazing read that this was. It grabbed me from the very first page and I proceeded to finish it in one sitting. It moves along at a speed which makes for an easy read, was not jumping from one speed to another. It has amazing characters that you will fall in love with and you want to know more about. The story will interest you and keep you reading till the end and then you are wanting more. This book is a must read, no doubt about it.

Great debut from Kim Ward! Intriguing story with lots of twists and turns that you don't see coming. This is a slow burn RH shifter romance. Although I would have loved a bit more world development, (some of the storyline had AMAZING ideas I just wanted to ponder in for pages and pages), I am very excited to see where the author will take us in the next book. Definitely purchasing book 2! I can see bright things coming for this baby author! I will be following her journey for sure!!

A crazily good debut novel for Kim Ward. This slow burn paranormal romance will keep you on the edge with the drama.

The detail Kim writes allows you to fully immerse in Rebekah’s story without confusing the reader. Her handling of mental and physical health of the FMC means the characters are lifelike and you want to be her friend.

It features a strong FMC who starts to find her voice. I can’t wait to read the next one!

Loved the characters in this story and there were a lot of them. Hope to read more about them in future books in the series. Definitely need to see what Kim Ward does next in book two!!!

This book was really good. I loved the back and forth with her mates and I loved that she kept to her core beliefs. Reading this book was delightful and I can't wait for the next book in the series. You can’t go wrong

With anything by Kin Ward. Seriously. But, wow! Lost Alpha Queen is just beautiful. The story grabs you from the first chapter and just doesn’t let go. You can feel the tension and know that each secret unraveled is just going to keep you guessing. Don’t be afraid of the slow burn because the pay off from the story is so worth it.
