Other former members of CLAMP also included Soushi Hishika, O-Kyon, Kazue Nakamori, Yuzuru Inoue and Shinya Ōmi. Currently, there are four members in the group.
In 2004, CLAMP's 15th anniversary as a mangaka group, the members changed their names from Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona Apapa, Mick Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi to Ageha Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi and Satsuki Igarashi (her name is pronounced the same, but written with different characters) respectively. The August 2004 issue of Newtype USA, a magazine specializing in events of the anime and manga subcultures, reported that the members of CLAMP simply wanted to try out new names. In a later interview with Ohkawa, it was revealed that initially Mokona wanted to drop her surname because it sounded too immature for her liking, while Nekoi disliked people commenting that her name was the same as Mick Jagger's. Ohkawa and Igarashi, wanting to go with the flow of Nekoi's and Mokona's name changes, changed their names as well.
In 2006, they made their first USA public debut at Anime Expo in Anaheim, California. They were well received at the convention, with 6,000 fans in attendance at their panel.

Oops, forgot to review this! What to say except how lovely it is to see all the threads coming together before the final conflict? And not just the plot threads, but the character connections that power them. The consequences for Toya's actions and then his confession were perfection. This man really said he would not be misunderstood any longer.
Sakura's big emotional moment was also quite beautifully handled. I liked the pacing in the anime better, because it allowed for the audience to sit with each moment a bit longer, but they're quite similar moments, which makes me happy.
And the Eriol reveal! We knew, of course, but the main cast didn't, and then what he does at the end? Diabolical. Can't wait to finish this series, but also don't want to. Still debating on whether I want to read Clear Card (straight after) or not.

Me sigue encantando este manga a pesar de los años.
Nos acercamos al final, ya se han hecho varias revelaciones: parece que que todo el mundo sabe ya quién son los demás; también avanzan varios romances: Toya y Yukito, y Sakura y Yukito llegan a su conclusión y Shiaoran tiene todo el apoyo de Tomoyo, con Sakura.

HER-MO-SO! De verdad los dibujos de este tomo me maravillaron, las ilustraciones del manga de Sakura siempre son tiernas pero creo que esta vez se superaron.

Un de mes tomes favoris car les personnages grandissent, Sakura s'affirme en tant que maitresse des cartes, Yué ne se cache plus, et puis les sentiments de chacun évoluent également. La bataille finale s'annonce et c'est toujours un régal.

Definitivamente mi tomo favorito hasta ahora! No puedo creer que tenga que esperar un mes (con suerte) para el último tomo!
En esta entrega hay de todo un poco, perp sobre todo mucho shipeo! Touya, Yukito, Shaoran, Tomoyo... todos expresan directa o indirectamente sus sentimientos a sus seres más queridos.
Creo que es la primera vez que descubro algo que no sabía. Y admito que después de leerlo (en un par de horas solamente), busqué escenas de Sakura porque este manga me dejó revolucionada y llena de amor.
Espero que el último tomo esté a la altura, cierre la historia y me de lo que quiero 💕

Se acerca el final y el anteúltimo tomo no decepciona. Creo que leí este volumen en el momento justo. Necesitaba una dosis fuerte de dulzura y me dio justamente eso. Se empieza a desarrollar el climax del segundo arco y no puedo esperar al siguiente volumen (mas allá de que sé lo que va a pasar).

🃏OPINIÓN PERSONAL🃏
Nos encontramos ante el tomo 8 de una serie de 9 en su version deluxe. Cuenta con varias temporadas en anime y alguna que otra película.
En este tomo se va a ver como los sentimientos de Sakura hacia Yukito no son correspondidos.
Por un lado esta Sakura, una niña que va a secundaria todos los dias en patines, esa caracteristica suya sale en cada tomo y me encanta. Ademas es muy dulce e ingenua aunque cuando se ve en apuros o hay riesgo de que su gente mas cercana se vea envuelta, saca el poder que lleva dentro.
Luego están, como siempre menciono, su padre y su hermano mayor que son los que más aparecen, junto a Yukito y Tomoyo (además de Kero por supuesto).
Esta compuesto por varios capitulos, como todos los tomos que le continuan, algo a destacar es la mencion frecuente de Yui en este tomo.
La lectura me ha durado menos de 3h.
El final se ha quedado en lo mejor y estoy deseando coger el siguiente. Porque Oriol ha mostrado su autentico origen y se viene batalla epica.

Not a lot happening in this volume. Mostly suffering through the fallout of the previous volume (Toya and Yukito especially) and then going to a festival in fancy summer yukata.
Sakura has to have transformed almost all of the Clow Cards in deck by now. I think only Dark and Light haven't made an appearance, but I could be wrong. (The constant butterfly motif on Eriol and company make me wonder if Yuuko is involved. Or if I've read Tsubasa too many times and can't stop acting like a conspiracy theorist.)
All that's left is for Eriol/Clow to reveal himself and explain what his issues are (which he starts to do in the final few pages, leaving us on a cliffhanger). I'm totally in love with the outfit Tomoyo made for this final showdown, the flowy skirt and all the star accents. It's perfect.

Este volumen es la preparación para el final. Creo que lo más relevante es que se descubre quién es realmente Eriol y el desafío queda establecido. Antes, una serie de acontecimientos relativos a las relaciones personales, van cerrando algunas tramas y dejan otras preparadas para el desenlace. Uno de los episodios más relevantes en este sentido es la declaración de Sakura a Yukito y el rechazo de este, que enlaza con lo que siente Syaoran y la decisión que toma sobre su declaración a Sakura.
Es un volumen cargado de sentimientos y muy tierno. Y nos deja con mucha expectación de lo que se supone será una gran batalla.

Festival en la primaria Tomoeda, Sakura invita a Yukito y le confiesa sus sentimientos, es rechazada y Shaoran la consuela de una forma conmovedora porque sabemos lo que él estará sufriendo, la escena del columpio siempre me ha roto el corazón. Sakura le hizo ua Yukata Shaoran y es nuevo para mí.
Touya está muy débil porque le ha entregado todo su poder mágico a Yue para que o desaparezcan.
Me da un poco de miedo Nakuru Akizuki porque quería robar el poder de Touya.
Van a la torre de Tokyo y se enfrentaran los dos grupos.

Este tomo es PERFECTO.
Todas las tramas se fueron cerrando. La de Toya y Yukito me tiene chillando, y la de Sakura y Yukito me dejó el corazón calentito por la delicadeza y cariño con la que Yuki manejó la situación. Y luego está la de Syaoran (le amo) y Sakura ganando fuerza. Sé cómo termina pero necesito leerlo ya.
Tomoyo es lo más dulce del mundo por apoyar así a Syaoran a pesar de sus propios sentimientos. En realidad todos en esta serie son lindísimos, no hay ni un personaje malo. Es un safe place ❤️🩹

En mi opinión, uno de los mejores tomos de la saga, ya que hubo mucha acción y la trama avanzó a pasos agigantados. Es difícil reseñar este volumen sin hacer spoilers porque estuvo plagado de revelaciones importantes (OMG) así que me limitaré a decir que lo disfruté un montón. Se acerca el final y no puedo esperar a leer el último libro, pero a la vez me da una pena horrible que se acabe.

Mi favorito que más puedo decir, ya estamos casi en el final de este manga y no quisiera que terminara pero de verdad quiero seguir leyendo.

The end of the volume was very expected, and I was relieved to see that Eriol's identity was finally revealed. Other than that, it is a continuation of the past volumes, except for the increasing effect of Sakura and Syaoran, which is building increasingly as the pages pass and I am living for that!

Avec ce huitième tome, nous arrivons à l’avant-dernier volume de la série ! Si j’ai un peu traîné pour m’y remettre, je ne regrette pas d’avoir pu enchaîner les derniers tomes !
On sent que la fin est proche et que les mangakas nous y préparent petit à petit en distillant des informations.
Ce tome se concentre une fois encore sur les sentiments des personnages même si on y retrouve aussi de nombreuses scènes d’action…
Etant donné la fin de cet opus, on peut s’attendre à un final haut en couleurs et plein de rebondissements ! ♥

En el próximo número termina el Manga. Este manga me parece mucho mejor que el nuevo arco del manga "Clear Card"
Lo estoy leyendo y lo paso bien, pero es una historia alargada innecesariamente. Por lo menos esa es mi opinión.
