The stakes keep going up as the Reverse World starts playing a more prominent role in this volume, foreshadowing a climatic clash of worlds (quite literally) in the future. Meanwhile, a very key character finally makes their appearance in this volume after being the long running plot device for the last 10 volumes or so. In any case, Touya is ready and set to face the challenge and nonchalantly resolve it with his smartphone.

More of the same is pretty much what I'd describe this volume, and admittedly I was rather entertained by this volume more often than not. Of course, a few of long running gags are long in the tooth by now but the attempts at fresh takes of them in this volume do prove funny enough for a few chuckles.

A smorgasboard of characters actually show up this time, mostly due to the author putting not only the Reverse World to the forefront, but also introducing us to the Spirit World, which has been hinted for a while.

The major disappointment for me was the introduction of the key character that's been driving much of the conflict for the last ten volumes or so, but it fell off the radar pretty fast which was quite a letdown for me. Luckily the author's own afternotes do say he plans to finally wrap up that plot next volume, so at least there's that for me.

Those who are expecting more sweet moments with Touya and his nine fiancees are going to be pretty disappointed yet again as there is quite a sore lack of the fiancees in terms of character development this volume. Nevertheless, there is a still a pretty nice scene involving all of them so it's not a total letdown!

Touya learns that the Mirror World and his new home world are about to merge due to the actions of the mutant phrase. He is the only one who can save both worlds. The first step is to make allies on the mirror world. While working on this he comes across an opportunity to deal with the regular phrase as well.

Like previous volumes, a light-hearted entertaining read, nothing deep nor any special twists, just an OP MC dealing with the problems around him as he comes across them. The number of characters are at times a bit of a problem in that they all blend into one character, especially his fiancés suffer from this. The MCs oddly dense behaviour at times is also more cringe than funny for me. Still, for quick read it is entertaining enough.

Great things are progressing

Well things seem to be running along quite well so far. I am wondering what will happen when kids are added to the mix.

Loves it. It had more action and more depth to Touyas role in the worlds. I believe God didn’t accidentally killed him but had a need for him to keep and eye for him to oversee other worlds.

The adventures continue in volume fourteen of the light novel. I hadn't been keeping up with the series, so I forgot some of what happened previously. Touya continues to make friends and influence people. Now, he has to do it in the mirror world, too.

The Wicked God and Yula plan to combine the mirror world and the regular world into one entity. It would create one world where the God of Worlds has no influence. The GoW realizes these machinations are happening, so he enlists the help of Touya.

Remember the whole plotline with the Sovereign Phrase? Well, we found her. Her name is Melle. Melle appears to be around Touya's age, and she learns what her people are doing. Melle is horrified at the destruction.

Furthermore, something happened to Endymion. Someone brainwashed Endymion, and he does their bidding as a knight. Melle helps him out, though.

I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.
