I never get tired of believing that love can show up unexpectedly and with determination. That it can find you anywhere, even curled up on the couch, in your jammies, while eating ice cream and binging romance novels. Then a knock on the door reveals your gorgeous new neighbor that you didn’t even know had moved in… or maybe it’s that hot friend of your dad’s you only know through photos…

Possibly the HEAs come easier because my home and office are in a romantic clearing of giant evergreens in the Pacific Northwest. Think Snow White without the Dwarves. But I do have a bounty of wild animals that come to visit. There’s even a resident nuthatch that talks to itself (constantly)! And there *are* currently seven chickens in the henhouse…

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Kaycee will do whatever it takes to take care of her twin brother and after she saw the damage that could inflicted when the equipment wasn’t up to scratch so when she approaches Corps Security and finds that no one is prepared to listen to her concerns, she decides to take matters in to her own hands and that means going right to the top and the top is Rafe. Only when she finally gets to the top she isn’t expecting the man she has spent so much time watching to notice her or to insert himself in to her life and act as her shadow. What did she unlock the night she crept into his room and will she end up regretting it or finding what she had no idea she wanted?

Rafe is only in town for the company’s New Year party, it’s not his favourite thing to do but it beats his sisters repeated attempts to set him up with someone she deems suitable. After a restless sleep he wakes with an eerie feeling that he wasn’t dreaming last night and someone had been in his room, with no evidence and even after checking security tapes he decides it is a mystery and one he intends to solve. So when he spots Kaycee at the party the way she behaves sets off alarm bells and every one of them the right kind. He knows that this woman has been in his room and now he knows who she is he has every intention of finding out why and how he can keep her there permanently. Will Rafe be able to show the woman who is determined to challenge him at every chance she can that they are going to be together?

I have loved all of the Corps books granted I haven’t read them all sue to missing out on ARCs but I have every intention of revisiting this series in the future and have no problem recommending this author and this series to you all. If you like books that have a healthy dose of steam, women who stand up to their men and still get the HEA then do not hesitate to read this series. I am sad that this is the last in the series but am waiting with baited breath for what she has for the future. 5*Read

This was an amusing short holiday read. It was quick paced and the characters were amusing. There was a good bit of humor included in this work making it quite a memorable read. THe interactions between the two main characters were humorous and allowed for laughter as the story moved along. The plot was a bit flat but held some great humor, I know it was a quick read but I would have enjoyed more background and a deeper story.

I give this a four out of five stars. The characters were amusing but the plot fell a little flat.

Kaycee has been trying to get someone to listen to her regarding the military equipment being manufactured by the company she works for. After being stonewall at every angle, she decides to take matter into her own hands. Rafe is not a people person, but he does what he has to for his company, so when he wakes up in the morning he realizes someone was in his room, but who.

This spicy and hot suspense story will have the Rafe making chances to his company and Kaycee making changes to her rules. This is a great story to snuggle up with for New Years.

This is such a great story. I love Kaycee as she is brave, sweet and a bit innocent. And Rafe is such an alpha male! I almost died laughing when Kaycee first saw Rafe (that was so brillant!). Their chemistry together is steamy hot and I adore how he interacts with her once they have met - it may be domineering but it is also sweet in many ways. This was a thoroughly entertaining and fun read!

Complicado

O começo do livro foi complicado pra mim por causa do que a mocinha Kaycee fez. Se os papéis dela e do mocinho fossem invertidos.... ah, teria muito barulho sobre impropriedade e abus0. Achei repulsivo e desconfortável. Por boa parte da história não consegui ignorar esse acontecimento e isso tirou minha vontade e empolgação de ler o livro. Resolvi ler só para fechar mesmo a série. Conforme a história foi evoluindo, até que melhorou um bocado e, no final das contas, acabou sendo melhor do que eu esperava. Mas sigo achando aquele começo muito errado. Poderia ter ficado sem.

An enjoyable, fast pace, steamy romance! It is a well written, well developed, emotionally deep, and engaging page turner that moves at a brisk pace and will leave you wanting more. The characters are likeable (Rafe is all alpha; Kaycee is sassy) – together they make an amazing couple; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

I never leave reviews and feel terrible about it especially when I read this author. I'm an avid short story, HEA reader and Olivia Sinclair is by far my favorite! Her stories never disappoint. I highly recommend this author and the entire Men of A Corps series especially Rafe which might be the best yet! I'll hold off judgement until the next comes out...

Rafe is an older man/younger woman office story between Rafe, a billionaire businessman, and Kaycee, who sneeks into his hotel room to inform him of a defect in the military helmet manufactured by his company. They are instantly attracted to one another. This is a quick instalove novel with great characters and a plot with humor and steam.

I really liked Rafe and Kaycee's story. The way it started certainly grabbed my attention lol. She was determined to get things changed and he was so intrigued by her that he wanted to claim her and help her. They had fantastic chemistry and a beautiful HEA.

It was cute, sweet and a really quick read. Kaycee breaks into Rafe's hotel room to inform him about a problem with the helmets his company makes for the military. Rafe is totally fascinated by Kaycee and spend the rest of his time trying to convince her of his feelings. These two sizzle together. Another amazing read in this series. The story is fast paced, quick and it will keep you reading till the end. The chemistry between Rafe and Kaycee is amazing. The way these two meet is fabulous and will keep you giggling through out. I enjoyed all of the books in this series. You will want to re read them all. Looking forward to read more from this author.
