Strong Brothers #1

Say Yes to Love

Rate this book
A Fake Marriage Office Romance

I (fake) married a man who’s (real) married to his job.
That man is also my boss.

This whole thing was no mistake.
Ryan thought it’d be fun to go to Europe and get hitched.
Why?
Because my charm helped him secure a deal.
It was all fun and games until we were only walking hand-in-hand on the streets of Europe.
Until it was just the two of us.
But Ryan broke more than just the one rule which says that we can’t be together.
He got me pregnant.

Now, a baby would definitely take the fun out of this madness.
Especially one that Ryan would never want… ever.
He’s (real) married to his job, remember?

So, I’ve got two options.
Tell him and risk losing him.
Keep my pregnancy a secret and still lose him.

I end up with a broken heart either way.
Unless a miracle saves our fake marriage and our futures from collapsing.

** Note to reader: This series can easily be enjoyed out of order.
Stay Yes to Love can be read as a standalone novel. It is the first book in a series that follows four brothers. Dive into this friends with benefits office romance filled with so much emotion and forbidden heat, and of course, a happily ever after sure to make you swoon. This is Ryan’s story.

Romanzo molto carino. Ho apprezzato l'evolversi della storia tra i protagonisti anche se ci sono un po' di lacune. Nonostante tutto è stata una piacevole lettura.

SAY YES TO LOVE is the first book in the STRONG BROTHERS series and I can't wait for more. Ryan is working in the family business along with his brothers and grandmother. His assistant, Kellie, is a hard worker and seems to know what he needs before he even realizes it. When their professional lives collide and cross a line with their personal lives, things heat up fast all because of a business deal he wants to make happen. It results in a fake marriage while in Tuscany but also a whirlwind honeymoon all thanks to the person whom he hopes to do business with. The descriptions brought Europe alive and made me feel like I was there. Their friends with benefits agreement may be something more, but is it?

The story is told by Ryan and Kellie in alternating chapters. It's sometimes confusing since you have to remember who is doing the speaking. There are twists and turns to the story along with romance, lots of steamy moments and feelings that neither knows what to do with or how to communicate them. When they return to San Diego, will it be back to business as usual? There are secrets, sadness, tears, hurt feelings, anger, lots of work, family, laughter, some surprises and touching moments, along with loving and love. The story has a nice flow to it and I enjoyed getting to know the characters and their siblings. There is a nicely portrayed happily ever after with nice closure thanks to the epilogue. There's an excerpt from book two of the series, GIVING IN TO LOVE, and it whet my appetite for more.

Ms. Williams is an author whose books I've enjoyed. They're on the steamy side and sometimes take me out of my comfort zone but add to the story and not just included for the wow factor. I look forward to reading more of her books and not just those in this series.

Accetta di amare Ajme Williams

In lista da quando è uscito, è il primo di quattro libri che raccontano dei fratelli Strong.
Questo è sull’ irreprensibile Ryan.
Kellie e Ryan lavorano insieme.

Ryan Strong wants to take his family footwear business internationally. He is a hot, sexy, boring workaholic, the oldest of the four Strong brothers. Hunter and Carter both work hard in the business while the youngest Noah has lots of fun and little work. Their grandmother still is CEO, but is stepping down soon.
Kellie Nichols is Ryan's very efficient assistant. She lives with her arty sister, Natalie and her best friend is Andie, assistant to the matriarch , Margaret Strong.
When Christian La Mont, the French distributor Ryan wants to sign a contract to work with to expand internationally balks because none of the Strong boys have a wife, Ryan lies and tells him that he is engaged to Kellie. Christian offers to have his wife arrange their marriage at their house in Tuscany. Find out how Ryan talks Kellie into fake marrying him in Italy and what else Christian has in store for the couple since he's all about love, This is the first book of the Strong family which is full of wonderful characters, handsome sexy men, emotions to solve before they find their HEA, and very virile. Fairly sure their women will be strong and individualistic in nature. I couldn't put this book down and can't wait for the next book.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Kellie Nickols and Ryan Strong. Ryan has been told by his grandmother that she wants him and his brothers to run the company together. No CEO no one person over another all of them feel that there is more to the story but their grandmother just says she wants to retire. Ryan is determined to get this contract with a man from France. When he looks like will waiver due to the fact that Ryan isn't a married man and has no prospect for children. That is when Ryan claims that he and Kellie are engaged but didn't want to say anything since she is his assistant. Kellie doesn't know what to think about this whole sham of a marriage for a contract. Sure she finds Ryan very attractive but she knows at the end of the day he is married to his work. What happens though when feelings get involved. Will their be a chance at a HEA for these two or was that fake relationship for a deal the beginning of the end of everything for them including a working relationship?

This is another hit out of the park by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Another amazing storyline by Ajme. This is the first book in the Strong Brothers series. Ryan along with his brothers are helping his grandmother run the family shoe company. Ryan is the oldest and is all work and no social life. He whole life is consumed by work. He has a personal assistant Kellie that is very organized and helps keeps everything running like a well oiled machine. She is very smart, intelligent, and knowledgeable about his clientele. While trying to close a big client overseas the client Mr. LaMonts started to have second thoughts because he believed strongly in family businesses. And none of the four brothers were married or even had girl friends. Then Ryan blurted out that his was engaged to his assistant Kellie but they been keeping it on the down low. Then everything thing got out of control with Mr. LaMont saying his wife and him would throw them a wedding in Italy. They just needed to bring the paperwork.
Oh lordy you don't want to miss out on how this all played out. Did they get married? Did his grandmother discover what he was doing ? Did he close the deal and get faked married only to pretend it never happened when they returned? Did fake become real ?

Great book!

This is a great start to this new series Strin Brothers. The oldest of 4 brothers, Ryan helps run the family business with his brothers and with his Grandmother retiring the each need to come together to run the business. While Ryan is on the phone with a new possible client he gets himself into a little white lie that turns into something a bit bigger then he thought possible. Ryan sells to the new client that he is engaged to his assistant and then has their wedding planned at his Tuscany estate a week later and then gives them a European honeymoon. Kellie is shocked to find herself in this position and in the end agrees to go along with it and tries to enjoy the trip of a lifetime. These two never think to cross the professional line until they find themselves being faked married and enjoying spending time together. Once they return home, things go upside down and Kellie believes she on her own. I have to say Ryan grew up with privilege and a broken heart from losing his mother at a young age that it takes a swift kick in the but to see what he can have with Kellie. Finding love is the best reward! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Say Yes to Love. The start of great new series! The Strong brothers along with their grandmother own a shoe company. The oldest grandson wants to take it international, so Ryan has been conversing with Christian Lamont from Italy. They have a deal but Mr. Lamont has doubts about the deal because none of the brothers seems to be grounded in a relationship and that bothers Mr. Lamont. So Ryan lies and says he is in a relationship and have plans to be married. This excites Mr. Lamont and gives his blessings on the account on one condition, Ryan and his fiancé must marry in Italy. Now Ryan is backed in a corner because he told them his fiancé is his assistant. His assistant is shocked but plays along with the lie. Crazy things happen when they go to Italy to get the contract signed as well as to get married. His brothers feel this is going to be a disaster for the company and hopes Kellie doesn't sue them. What will grandmother say? The book is a great start to a new series by Ajme that will keep you hooked! My favourite so far. I genuinely think that this novel is Ajme's best yet. The writing style, the easy flow of the plot, vocabulary, character descriptions, in short, all that the craft of writing entails is in a completely different category and class from all the previous works I read from her. The storyline had been repeated by others with some variation, but it is the way this novel was delivered shows a definite talent. Kellie and Ryan have undeniable chemistry, yet there is a great deal of denial on both their parts. There are aspects of this book that feel unrealistic, like the business partner's insistence and gesture to spend a fortune to ensure Ryan's stability and business credentials, but the superb way the whole European trip was described enabled the reader to imagine it with ease. I don't want to go into describing this storyline but this is a novel that would appeal to many. All the characters are described well and are likeable. I couldn't help rooting for Kellie and Ryan. I would most definitely recommend this book.

Would you lie to get what you want, especially a lucrative business contract that could skyrocket your company? For Ryan Strong the answer is a resounding yes. No hesitation. His assistant Kellie was always the consummate professional so when she agrees to the fake marriage, he's shocked. They didn't expect to catch feelings for each other.

Kellie was the perfect balance to Ryan's all work and no play personality. Since this trip to Europe was her first and possibly only opportunity, she wanted to enjoy every bit of it. It took Kellie's joie de vivre to open up Ryan's eyes and view life from a different perspective as well as open himself up to love. Having read almost all of Ajme's books, I can say that this one is by far my favorite of all. The characters, the storyline, the changes that occur were woven together to create the perfect happy ending for this couple.

this is the first book in the strong brothers series and what a great start!

Ryan is married to his job, no time for fun, but when a business deal relies on family relationships and commitments, he comes up with the idea of a fake engagement with his assistant Kellie, but that all back fires when his client arranges for them to get married in Italy and them surprises them with a honeymoon, unable to back out they agree to it and get close but only as friends with benefits, even though they are both lying to themselves.

upon returning from the fake honeymoon they cant get over each other so carry on having sex as friends, until one night Ryan proposes to Kellie and that's when she tells him that she is pregnant, can they get over this or is this the end?

I loved this book and can't wait for the next one in the series, once again Ajme doesn't disappoint like all of her other books it has you gripped from the start till the end.

Accepting The Risks Of Love -
Ryan was industrious, but crotchety and had made the family business his entire focus. Kellie was very effective as his assistant, as she knew how to work effectively with him. However, their working relationship took a left turn after Ryan told a fib to sign a contract. The romance, sizzling sexual encounters and engaging banter, made it just so easy to fall in love with Ryan and Kellie.

I really enjoyed the story, as it showed that although Ryan the decision to never fall in love, it took him finding the right person, the right circumstances and a push from his family, for him to realise love is a beautiful risk. This was a truly wonderful start to the Strong Brothers Series. After reading book one, I am really looking forward to reading book two.

I really enjoyed reading Say Yes to Love by Ajme Williams because it was such a wonderful story about Ryan and Kellie. Kellie was Ryan's assistant and he was the boss. I loved their interactions with each other. In order to secure a client, they had to get "fake married" and have a honeymoon. But the feelings and emotions were real for both of them and it scared them. I loved Kellie's character. She was bright and fun. Ryan was more focused on work all the time. But with Kellie around, he was starting to see things through a new perspective. I loved reading this story and would highly recommend reading it.

Say Yes to Love by Ajme Williams was one I thoroughly enjoyed. Ryan told a businessman with which he wanted to seal a huge deal that he was engaged and soon to be married because the businessman placed a high value on a strong family run business. Ryan stated that Kellie was the one he intended to marry. Kellie was his charming assistant further enhancing the deal since the European businessman was greatly impressed with Kellie. Ryan was as determined as Kellie to keep everything on a professional level while proving that they were so much in love in order to seal the big deal. The plotline is all about how they accomplish their goal. I really loved reading this book.

Ajme Williams has hit a home run with her new book Say Yes to Love. All this starts by Kellie, Ryan's assistant agreeing to be his fake fiancée during a business call. Before Ryan and Kellie knew it they were married (fake no license) in Tuscany and on a one week European honeymoon, a gift from Ryan's new business associate. When they came back to the US Kellie and Ryan went back to work as they planned but they both had feelings for the other and did not say so. They entered into a secret friends with benefits agreement. This book will have you wanting to know what's next and not wanting to put it down. Personally I loved it and if I could have given it 10 stars I would have.

Ajme is off to a great beginning with her new series that is based around the Strong brothers and the first story goes to the oldest brother Ryan and his assistant Kellie. Ryan trying to seal a deal opens his mouth while on a business call and says he is engaged to Kellie. Kellie actually goes along with Ryan’s plan and they end up in a fake marriage. Their journey is a hot mess full of banter back and forth between them and a few surprises along the way. Neither of them wants to admit they have feeling for the other but the chemistry proves otherwise. I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait to read the next installment in this series. I know Ajme will not disappoint.

This is going to be a good series

Ryan is all about work and his family’s company. Until the president of the European company he wants to expand to tells him he’s worried. He’s worried that since neither Ryan nor his brothers have married and started families, they aren’t as committed to their company as he’d like. So Ryan blurts out that he and his assistant Kellie are engaged. No harm, no foul right?

Kellie has kept her head down and done her job well, maybe too well. When Ryan tells their potential business partner that they’re engaged, she goes along with it. Pretend to be engaged, sign the contract then break up. But the businessman insists on having their wedding at his home in Italy. This can’t be good, can it?

Say Yes to Love is the first book in Ajme Williams new Strong Brother's series. First up is Ryan. This is a boss, fake fiancée romance featuring Ryan and his assistant Keli. Something that makes this story a little more fun than typical is the Ryan and Keli didn't expect to be playing these parts. Ryan is faced with potentially loosing a job and off the cuff says they're engaged, put on the stop Keli goes along with it.

We knew before that happened there was already a spark, things just heated up more from there. This is a great kickoff to a new series. I look forward to the next.

Ryan is trying to secure a business deal which leads to a lie. A lie that has Kellie going along with the fake engagement to her boss. Ryan and Kellie have a witty way of interacting with each other that you can not help but love. What a wonderful connection they share full of twists, turns and drama. An entertaining story where neither is willing to admit how much they care but things are not so fake anymore. What a fantastic way to start a new series and I am definitely looking forward to the next one.

Say yes to sex....

Enjoyable story line, enjoyed traveling to Europe, the sights, sounds and food! Ryan the oldest of the Strong brothers, was handsome and aloof, afraid to love. His assistant was perfect, smart, intelligent, diligent and professional. Unfortunately his next business partner thought that Ryan and his brothers were a risk because none had married...that’s where your story begins. To be honest it was too pornographic for me. I would skip 10 pages at a time. So if that’s your thing you’ll love it.

I finished the book because I had to see how this love affair ended! Stay safe!

Good romance, a little predictable
This is the first volume in the series. The story is very well written and I liked the narrative, but found it predictable in the first part. I preferred the second, more moving and more intense.
Ryan and Kellie are two workaholics. She's his assistant and when he uses her as a fake fiancée to close a contract, the two have to deal with an attraction they didn't see coming.
I liked these characters a lot, but I have to say that Ryan's brothers hint at good sequels.
