Brandon Varnell is the author of several book series, all of which involve anime-inspired fanservice. Having been an anime nerd for basically his whole life, his books tend to reflect that. He likes writing stories with loads of T&A, shonen-style battle scenes, and steamy romances that are both light-hearted and erotic. He is also a huge fan of harem anime, so most of his books feature harem romances. If that bothers you, you probably shouldn't read his books.

A good bit (most?) of the book is about the world and the party’s individual character development. The dungeons are interesting, the fighting follows what magical combat would (probably) be like, and the fox yokai is cute. Level and ability progression is slower than before, but it’s kind of expected with the mechanics in place.
It was worth reading and I can’t wait for the next book!
It’ll be interesting to see what happens when the anime logic to not talk about anything is broken and the party figures out it isn’t a game. That or Titania figures out they don’t know it’s a realm and finally explains it. Kind of an obvious hint to miss when your esper abilities work in the game world and the NPCs don’t act like an AI.
This book has elements of virtual reality MMO along with real life set in the future. It has interesting stats for the players in the virtual reality world as well as a lot of drama action terror with a little bit of erratic romance thrown in. Everything is done with the taste towards the story progression and not just for excitement sake. I like the interaction of the characters and the world building and it gets more involved as time goes along. Each character has their own personality and it shows, I cannot wait to read the next book, hope it comes, soon.
I actually hope Mr Varnell reads this… First off I appreciate that a harem lit story isn’t just SEX SEX SEX SEX. & let me shake it up a little Sike more sex lol I appreciate the character development and growth which makes it acceptable to have an OP character because he does more than just enjoy his sexual partners This series is amazing But I just wish I did have to pay for the series because I have kindle unlimited it’s sooo good that I had to cave in and buy them I can’t remember why he left kindle unlimited but I’m happy his books are still available
Awesome book. The world-building, the plot pace and the interactions between the main characters is going great. Now having read how Aris acts, I now enjoy her character.
As for the harem, I'm looking forward to it. Though I hope the next girl to formally join is Lilith.
Though I will be honest, kinda disappointed there was no picture of Adam kneeling to Fayte.
Either way, I'm looking forward to the next book when it comes out.
Been really enjoying this series. Its well done and the characters and story are great, which is hard to pull off with an op mc. The pacing has been terrific but I can't wait for Adam to spread the love.
As always Varnell-sensi delivers another incredible work absolutely killing it! MMG is a fascinating work with a rich cast of characters and fascinating world! I cannot recommend this or any of his other series enough!
And we have the start of his harem! Glad to see that stats are not everything. Makes learning to fight a big deal and not just who is a higher level and has the best gear.
I was worried the pages would be filled with stats and meaningless battles, but no the setup of plot and characters come to a head and I can see a lot of potential for this.
The progress and excitement continue to build. Adam and the crew are kicking not just monster ass, but also player’s ass! Gotta sun to Patreon to read the next one before it’s officially out!
What can I say, another banger from Brandon. This series is definitely one of the better ones in the genre of litRPG as it has everything you want from game stats to a great story plot with amazing character.
I enjoyed this third book and the plot development. The characters are developing more and its getting more intense with other players entering I to the fray both good and villainous
