Cassie Howell, high school student and recovering compulsive liar is enjoying a peaceful Florida summer, free of any vampire troubles. Which is good, because anytime Cassie seems to encounter vampires, it's really hard to get out of the situation without backsliding on that whole lying thing. Until, suddenly, she's not enjoying the peace anymore. Because when vampires attack her in broad daylight, Cassie starts to realize that the "interesting" phase of her life might not have ended with quitting lying. And there may be an even bigger liar trying to kill her...and her friends.
Robert J. Crane was born and raised on Florida's Space Coast before moving to the upper midwest in search of cooler climates and more palatable beer. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in English Creative Writing. He worked for a year as a substitute teacher and worked in the financial services field for seven years while writing in his spare time.
Hit You Where You Live Review: Robert J. Crane makes you want to hang in there until the very end even if you don't want to. Our vampire slayer teenager simply can not leave well enough alone. She thinks she in invincible and that her actions have no consequences. How could she be so naive, simple, ignorant, unsophisticated, wide-eyed credulous, green, gullible, harmless, impulsive (take your pick). We knew what was coming way before it happens. We love Robert J. Crane anyway. Keep it coming. :)
Omg Mr Crane!! You kept us waiting but WOW was it worth it. Only started reading this book at bedtime last night and finished it today before 5pm because I couldn't stop reading. I'm so excited for the next instalment of the series
Another great book about cassie with lots of ups and downs. Jacqueline needs bringing down for what she's doing to Cassie. I love these books with all the twists and turns and not knowing what's coming next.
What a world for a seventeen year old to experience. The phrase if you never walked in my shoes then shut up, comes to mind. A good series, I enjoyed the read!
Great writing. I love how your vamps attack what isn't true, shimmery vampires. Lol. And hos only a select few are noble. Looking forward to the next one.
