Tim Niederriter writes books of science fiction, fantasy, and combinations of the two for fun and novelty.
Tim is the son of two physicists who read him the Hobbit (repeatedly) at a young age. The math adds up. He loves both far-flung science fiction and epic fantasy of all kinds.
Tim hosts the Alive After Reading podcast and cohosts the Of Mooks and Monsters podcast, both available on timniederriter.com.
For the record, I received an Advanced Review Copy (ARC) of this book with the request that I leave a voluntary honest review for other potential readers. Having said that, here is my honest opinion and review of this book. This is story surprised me. It was not what I was expecting and did not go in the direction that I thought it would. That is an excellent thing to me. The plot was different from most of the fantasy books that I read and was quite enjoyable. There is both excellent world building and character development with a great deal of carefully balanced information presented in a particularly good and easy to read dose. The writing style is excellent and flows nicely with good pacing. A couple of minor slow spots that turned out to be the calm before the storm. The villian had a very complex plan and the execution of it was beautifully done. Our heroes and heroines certainly played their parts to perfection. I found this book to be a very good read and do recommend it to sword and sorcery fans.
Our heroine gets a rare opportunity to learn magic, but with power comes great challenges. Will she be able to meet them?
This is an intriguing fantasy story. It is well written and easy to read, with a well developed setting that has many common fantasy elements and yet is distinctly unique at the same time. The characters are well developed, particularly the heroine, who I really like. She has just the right combination of strength and smarts that make for a really good character. The story develops at a good pace and, for me at least, was very engaging. Overall, I really enjoyed the story and hope to see more adventures with our heroine.
Highly recommended.

Tim Niederriter is a new author to me I enjoyed this story but there were so many errors in this story usually I can glide over them but there were way too many and that spoiled the story for me, it was an entertaining read I could see where this author was going with this story so would I read the next book in this series yes I would now that I’m used to this authors writing style.
The book starts out with Saben and Jaswei Da Knki coming into a town to rest from a journey they are on that we get to read about how. It was a fun story that entertained me and kept me reading just to see what happened next. I liked the characters and the situations they came across on their journey.
Demon Scroll by Tim Niederriter is a wonderful story that I have loved reading. This is book number one in this start to a brand new series writen by a brand new author for me. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy on their stories as much as I do.
