Not sure what the connection is to the original, but it's still a worthy entry in this fun series for young teens or tweens. Lots going on in such a short graphic novel, but the back matter helps it cohere.
This one touched on a great point. Bipolar disorder and how it can affect a person's life. I had great appreciation for it. Very well written and fun to read.
