Want to gift this one to all my friends with kids. It’s pretty straight forward, it’s just the constitution simplified enough that a child could understand it. It’s awesome!

I saw the author interviewed on TV. Altho he wrote the book to help kids understand the Constitution, I, a teacher who taught the the Constitution every year wanted to check it out. I think it might be a good book for kids especially if a teacher or adult led them through it, as some of it they might not understand. The author uses humor, diagrams, has a section on why it’s important to know your rights, and how to get involved. He also includes the complete and original documents in the back.

Ben Sheehan does an excellent job of explaing what the Constitution says. As an adult, I learned a lot. It was written in everyday English, with the actual text of the document in the back of the book. My student found it very interesting.
