Rate this book
No AutoCAD user should be without this complete alphabetical reference guide! The Illustrated AutoCAD 2004 Quick Reference lists and details every AutoCAD 2004 command in alphabetical order, with each command starting at the top of a new page for ease of use. Additionally, it serves as a cross-reference in cases where a related command might be more appropriate than the initial one. Command prompts can be used to write scripts and macros, and a variety of ways to access commands through the keyboard, icons, menu picks, and tablet location are included. Cannot have too many references.

As with any sophisticated application, AutoCAD of an older nature has many hidden depths. This book is not here to teach how to apply AutoCAD or even understand the disciplines that it applies to.

This reference is and does what it says. For the seasoned AutoCAD user, an older version can be quite interesting and may someday come in handy, especially with its robust choices on how to use the tool quickly and effectively. You do not want to start with this older version as it is a great leap from previous versions to today. This reference will be good for a basic understanding of where AutoCAD came from. At the time of this review, we are at least at AutoCAD 2020. Who knows where we will go from here?
