Rate this book
Marie Jenner’s going to a Hallowe’en party. Unfortunately, it’s being held at the house where her boss, Gerald the Tyrant, lives. More unfortunately, a cat named Pookie lives there, too.

Gerald loves that cat, but he’s not the only one. Goldie, a street person from Gerald’s neighbourhood, is convinced that Pookie is hers, and she wants him back.

The problem is, Goldie’s dead, so she’ll need some help.

All Marie wants is a little bit of fun. She isn’t going to get it.

This is a 3.5 star read.

A rather cute short story that introduces us to the main character and her inherited talent for seeing ghosts.

I received this book through a BookFunnel author giveaway. I thought the book was cute, and just the right length when you're waiting in the doctor's waiting room. BookFunnel is an app, and I have it on both my Kindle and my smartphone, so I can start a book on one, and continue reading it on the other depending where I am. Anyway, this is a cute quick read. It had a happy ending. I recommend it.
