Patch bosses infect your life—even when they’re dead. Rosie has been working in the parlour at The Angel, reclaiming her life after a hideous time with an old flame. Until she kills her neighbour, then everything goes wrong. The past she’s been running from catches up with her, and The Brothers, leaders of The Cardigan Estate, step in to help. Marla is a woman from Rosie’s past, determined to prove her ex-‘sister’ isn’t who she says she is. When a man goes missing from a block of flats, Marla’s convinced history is repeating itself. The thing is, can she prove it? Someone is watching Rosie from across the street, writing down her moves in a little notebook. Rod Clarke, the dodgy detective, crosses the line and becomes someone he never thought he’d be. Dead bodies are stacking up, one after the other. The Cardigan Estate is one place you don’t want to dwell—if you know a flower called Rosie.

Rosie Has Changed Her Entire Life...But Has Her Past Still Followed Her..

Ya gotta love the Cardigan Estates, there is Always Something happening there...A mystery, a murder, a fight...The residents of this block have strange lives, bad habits, and plenty of bad blood! Rosie is a woman who moved here after an incident that had her changing her name, occupation, and way of living quickly...She is calm now, happy, comfortable in her life...Unknown to her a woman who also changed everything lives across from her...And Watches everything in the neighborhood, writing notes in little notebooks for Each resident...Well...They say history doesn't repeat itself...But it Has happened Again...And Rosie needs help, calling the Brothers, leaders of this block...And so it begins...Will she need to move AGAIN...Or can the block return to it's 'normal' turmoil...We Will See...
A great story of folks and an area that thrills me with every book...Some things sound So familiar...How's life in Your neighborhood?!

Enny Ennis is a great story teller knowing what it takes to keep readers interested.

This book was as brilliant as expected carrying on from the previous book. Another job the brothers have to clean up on the cardigan estate that also tests their limits and their rules.

This book is about Rosie and how she ended up at the Angel. We also get a glimpse into the brothers psyche that leaves us wanting more on them.

We see a twist that partly was expected and partly not. I cant wait to read more.

Every book is as good as the last. I'm really enjoying this series. The characters sound and behave like real people, people you might know. The Brothers are obviously based on The Krays, but they behave like them too, and it's interesting t see them act in a contemporary setting.
