I loved this fun rom-com. Gemma decides to use a dating service to find the “one” but she got more than she bargained for. Not only did she find the “one” she also found the “two”. Watching her navigate between Lucas and Connor and find the true love that she was looking for was such a great ride. This book will have you laughing one minute and fanning yourself the next minute. Loved this read. If you are looking for a perfect book to help you relax, then this is the book for you.

I’m pleased to see so many others enjoyed It’s Complicated, but unfortunately it was a miss for me. Others have summarized it pretty well, and while I didn’t mind the love triangle because our heroine was openly dating via a service to find “the one” and was honest about it with her suitors who were doing the same thing, I did had problems with her planning dates with two men on the same day back to back. What was the rush? Have you no shame? I also felt certain parts repeated themselves and other parts were unnecessarily drawn out.

What bothered me the most and thus the 2-star rating, was after she narrowed it down to the top two, the conversation that transpired between the two men was unnatural and juvenile. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but it ruined the entire book for me. The hero who won her heart did a complete 180–he never wanted to marry at all and after he finds out about guy #2, wants to be in a committed relationship and is in love after only a couple weeks.

To me, it was basically a “competition” to the “hero” and I use that word in jest, because he was not a stand-up guy to me. He was very pushy and controlling, and trust me I do like alpha men in my romances, but convincing your girl to have sex in her childhood bedroom after she says no, that she feels uncomfortable because her entire family is right outside the door and you just met them five minutes ago, and there is no lock on the door is just creepy and a big red flag. You’re not a teenager so control yourself because that is not sexy. When a woman says no she means no and he did this repeatedly...more like he wanted the upper hand as he verbalized this when he said he was “marking his territory.”

Guy #2 acted of character after he found out he wasn’t "the one,” and that turned me off as well. He was blindsided as he wasn’t even given the respect of an honest explanation...he had to figure it all out on his own, but his banter with the “hero” was equally disturbing. And the worst part is the spineless heroine never even spoke up–she was selfish, shallow, and pathetic. The behavior that followed was also disappointing because it was written to reinforce that the heroine had made the right choice. I just wish guy #2 had more class and character in this situation and just walked away.

4 Star Review of It’s Complicated by J.S. Cooper
The title It’s Complicated the latest book from J.S. Cooper is exactly what this story is. What complications can arise when signing up for a dating site. Gemma is a Greek woman who has decided it is time to find a partner, before her intrusive Greek family do it for her.
When the dating app, chooses numerous men for her first date, she is intrigued by two of the men, Lucas and Connor who couldn’t be more different if they tried.
What follows is an interesting and entertaining read with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in. The writing was strong and there were enough twists and turns to keep me on the edge of my seat guessing who will be the the chosen man.
There was humour, drama and a little angst as Gemma struggled with her feelings and the decision on which man to choose.

I’m a huge fan of JS Cooper and still remember the first book I devoured of hers and I’ve read almost every book she’s put out since and this book is prime example of why I adore her writing. This book was light, humorous and the banter just had me smiling at how funny it was at times. Gemma got more then she bargained for when she joined a dating site and finds everything she’s wanted in a man but the problem is she finds it times 2 lol. Totally enjoyable read

I’ll be honest. I really did not like any of the main characters here. I thought Gemma was inconsiderate of other people’s feeling, whiney and more concerned with money and how one looks. I did like her confidence and sass though. Connor is a jerk who bulldozes over Gemma’s feelings and thoughts until they aligned with his. I thought Lucas was the nicest of the next all until the end but I kind of understand why he was that way. I had a really had time getting into this book as the story line sounded good but I just didn’t like how everyone played with each others’ emotions. I have really enjoyed other J.S. Cooper romances but just not this one. However, the story was very well written.

I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Santa Baby, I've really been an awful bad girl. If the city ever decides to put a sign on my front door it will way "Good Girl Gone Bad" This year I am definitely on Santa's naughty list and it's no even my own fault. How was I suppose to know that when I asked for a boyfriend for Christmas, that my wish would be granted; with not one but two suitors vying for my heart? When one problem turns to two...My two suitors are exact opposites. Lucas, the corporate hottie wants me to spend Christmas Even at his penthouse and Connor, the bad boy rockstar wants to take me to an isolated cabin on Christmas Day. I've agreed to both invitations. Hey, a girl has to explore her options. The Christmas surprise I didn't see coming...And then everything went wrong. Because who couldn't see this train wreck coming; asides from me? Both guys wanted to see me on New Year's Eve: each on sliding a naught note under my door promising copious amounts of spiced eggnog and an even spicier night. The only problem was they'd both invited me to the same party. Turns out they were connected in a way I never saw coming. It's complicated doesn't even begin to express my dilemma. The only thing I know is that at midnight, the fireworks going off aren't just going to be in the sky.

This book is all one huge complication. Two men and holidays? What is a girl to do? I will say that if you start this book and don't really like Gemma don't lay it down. She gets better as the book goes on. She goes to a dating sight and has not only one match but two. Two guys that she is attracted too and who are complete opposites. One doesn't have to know about the other right? She is a smart girl and can keep them from finding out. On New Years though things are so going to blow up in her face as they have both invited her to the same party. I am not going to give away the story you just have to read it . I thought it was a light hearted fun Christmas read that will have you in stitches at times and swooning way many more times.

Gemma is searching for love and after many epic fails in the dating pool she has decided to join an app that seems like it will be legit in helping her find the one. What happens is she finds herself dating and attracted to two guys who are complete opposites. Connor is the laidback player who likes to live life on the fly and whatever happens happens, then we have Lucas who is the straight laced lawyer and they both have so much to offer her but how could she ever decide. As we go with her on her journey through this complicated situation we are met with steamy moments, funny predicaments, and loads of fun. She doesn't see the twist that is headed her way when both men are faced with each other and neither did I. I was shocked and loved how everything played out. Another fun read by this author who takes a crazy situation and makes us laugh and swoon!!

As always, I received an ARC copy from the author. This is my complete and honest opinion.

Gemma oh Gemma. When I first started reading this book. I didn’t like Gemma. She seemed like a snob to me. Living a “normal” life wasn’t good enough for her. She was living above her means and wanted a rich guy to fall in love and marry. But as I was reading I came to like her. I still didn’t like that she was focused on money, but she really did want to find love. Dating sites are all the rage now days and this was the route she was also taking. This site is above others. The dates are different and interesting. Everything being set up by the site. The downside is finding a connection with not 1 but 2 guys, finding things you love in both of them, and having to decide what your future holds with both of them.

I can honestly say I didn’t expect it to end the way it did. No I am not giving it away. You’ll have to read it to find out.

Gemma hasn’t had much luck when it comes to choosing men however she knows that she knows that she needs to find her match before the decision is taken out of her hands. She joins a high-profile matchmaking site and now finds herself having to choose between two contrasting men.

Connor is a successful lawyer while Lucas is a free-spirited musician. The only thing they have in common is their attraction to her but when they find out about each other who will she choose, or will she lose both of them?

Gemma’s takes us on a humorous ride as she searches for love with the help of her family and friends. Her escapades will have you laughing out loud and the secondary characters really enhance the story.

This is everything I expected and wanted from this book. I will forever be a J. S. Cooper fan if she keeps pulling me in with books like this 👏🏾👏🏾✔

"It’s complicated doesn’t even begin to express my dilemma. The only thing I know is that at midnight, the fireworks going off aren’t just going to be in the sky."

It's Complicated has just become my favorite J S Cooper book. I absolutely loved the characters, the plot, the drama, the anticipation, and the ending.

I would definitely recommend you check this not-so Christmas novella out. It's a good read full of drama, anxiety, angst, romance, and HEA.

I received an ARC for this book from the author via Bookfunnel in exchange for an honest review.

OMG!! Super Loved This Rom-Com!!
I am addicted to J. S. Cooper's books!! She is the Queen of Rom-Com!
Meet Gemma Doukas, she comes from a traditional Greek family, her loving grandmother believes she should have been married with children already.
So, she joins a high end dating app. She meets a few men who are definitely not for her. Then she is matched with a handsome successful attorney, and he is looking for a commitment. She is also meets a gorgeous, blond rocker/music writer, but his intentions are questionable.
This was such a fun, page turning, sexy, steamy book!! Angsty and unpredictable, with great characters, and an addictive story line! This book is a definite reread and I'm so happy to have read it for an honest review.
I would have loved an epilogue, because I really cannot get enough of lucky Gemma and her mystery choice!!

"It's Complicated" by J.S. Cooper is a fun read. I enjoyed Gemma's story. This story had humor, dating, twists, passion, close friends, family, and more. I can't wait to see what happens next in "One Night Pact" to see what happens with Gemma's friend, Sarah. Recommend to fans of romance, humor, and family.

Imagine a wish taking you from zero to two in a flash. Two suitors can liven up your life but imagine the possibilities when they're polar opposites. This book is well written and will keep you laughing and crying. Great characters who are likable and interesting. The book is overflowing with drama and some suspense. Twists to keep you guessing. I rarely give reviews, but this was so bad

I rarely give reviews, but this book was so bad that I’m looking for a much needed zero stars rating!!! Unfortunately for me once I pick something up I read it cover to cover. Newspaper, magazines, book & even instruction manuals. This was the most torturous 3 days of reading that I have ever had. The majority of the book is comprised of trying to make it seem that Gemma is a classy chick with strict morals while at the same time giving 10,000 reasons that indeed she is the queen of sluts & Gemma repeating anything she was asked in her answer to the question. —Do u want to be in a relationship with me? Yes I want to be in a relationship with you but what does that mean?—- Gemma do u want me to be your boyfriend? Yes I want you to be my boyfriend but what does that mean?—- All of the characters seemed to be lacking intelligence( yet all were college graduates) but none so much as Gemma. Gemma made the airheads I know seem like Harvard graduates. This book is number one on my please don’t waste your time book list!

1. Not MFM, despite what some have tagged this to be.

2. Heroine, Gemma, is looking for a sugar daddy. She's from a large Greek family who's pressuring her to get married; I mean, she's letting them pressure her. She also admits that she lives way above her means, and is looking for a man to buy her whatever luxury items her heart desires. Insert: rolling my eyes.

3. I don't have a problem with her paying $2,000.00 for an online dating service and for dating multiple men at the same time. That's her privilege! What I do have a problem with is her being wishy-washy (Luke or Conner? Conner's an ass, but he's sooo [insert: whatever she finds attractive about him], and Luke's the "ideal marriage-type of man." She also goes to both of the guys' parents' ( ) house for NYE; cries after she has an abrupt mind-blowing sex with Conner, while Luke is banging on her door; and abruptly breaks up with Luke after he invites her over to his parents' house for NYE. If that ain't a bitchy move, I don't know what is.

4. Obviously, Luke's feeling hurt and angry after he got surprisingly dumped, but the author made him act as an asshole, immediately after Gemma and Conner goes down to meet the folks after their sexcapade. He was a gentleman in the first 99% of the book, and he's virtually spitting on Gemma and basically calling her a cunt in the end. Gemma's in the wrong, I agree, but Luke's characterization was an unexpected change. Makes him human, I guess? Still don't like it, though. It's like finding a good investment initially... then, finding it to be a total waste in the end. Augh.

Not Complicated

I was expecting this book to be funny, but it was boring. All the dialog about Gemma's Greek family was very tedious. First of all $2,000 for a dating service is ridiculous, especially for a working class girl. The book was too all over the place. What woman has a date with two TDH sexy hunks and doesn't have sex at least by the second date. I scaned through the book to find out what brother she would end up with. Turns out Lucas was the jerk and Conner was in love with Gemma. BTW, who has sex in their parent's house during a family event. I thought this book would be more entertaining because of the subject. It wasn't complicated, nor romantic.

Gemma’s Journey To Find A Boyfriend By Christmas Gets Off Track When Both Lucas And Connor Enter Her Life! Her Greek Family Adds Color As Well As Warmth And An Authentic Flavor To The Story.

This book is a stand-alone Christmas-themed book. Gemma’s best friend Sarah, however, gets her own book in One Night Pact. Sarah and her best friend from childhood Harry Parker Huntington finally cross the line in their friends to lovers story. Both are here and readers get a sneak peak into their upcoming story.

Gemma Doukas, twenty-eight, wants a boyfriend for Christmas. She eventually wants to get married and have kids, too. She comes from a big, loud Greek family who pressure her to settle down already, and if she doesn’t hurry Yaya promises she will set her up with a nice Greek man. Gemma lives in Manhattan and works as a researcher at the American Museum of Natural History. She loves her work and is deep into the study of the Amerindian tribes of Brazil. She attended Columbia where she studied history and anthropology. While earning her master’s degree she met her best friend Sarah.

As the holidays approach, Gemma knows she must take preemptive action to ensure she keeps her family off her back about being single. The free dating apps haven’t been fruitful, so she splurges on an expensive one in the hopes of being matched with men that are serious about settling down. One True Love sends her a list of matches to choose from, and she narrows that list down to five. She is incredibly picky, so it doesn’t take long for her to know that only two of those men have her full attention, but deciding between them proves to be a bigger problem than she had anticipated. Both are great. They are honest and she feels good being around them. She can see herself being happy with either, but beyond that they are as different as night and day.

Lucas, thirty-two, looks great in a suit and specializes in corporate law as a partner at Morgan, Wallace, Chiltern, and Percy. He works long hours and spends his days researching and writing, much like Gemma. He is a complete gentleman and makes a sincere effort to please her. He seems vested in the process and like her, he wants to marry and settle down. He represents safety and security and everything Gemma dreamed about in a husband.

Connor, thirty, wears a leather jacket and works in the music industry. He is a music producer and sometimes DJs, though he studied advertising in college. His in your face honesty is a little different, but he isn’t mean about it. A bit of a free spirit, he is very open and philosophic, and challenges Gemma with thought-provoking conversation. But Connor is upfront about the fact that he will never marry and has no intention of offering forever.

Gemma’s decision should be simple. Connor, however, doesn’t let her off he hook easily. Clearly he has some issues, and she is not naïve enough to think she can fix them for him, so she is only delaying the inevitable. But as each weak passes and she has yet another date with each man, her thinking becomes more confused. Each man has missteps. It doesn’t help that her religious upbringing is in conflict with the whole idea of using the dating app. Although all participants understand the process and each starts out dating several people, it is still challenging to manage multiple relationships at the same time without feeling guilty about it.

But in the end, Gemma must choose between the two. One is everything she asked for; the other challenges her and sweeps her off her feet. One hopes to promise her forever, but the other has taken forever off the table. Her heart might be swayed one way, but reality sends her to another. She could be happy with either man, but has to let one go. Although she wavers as to which one to keep, both continue to hold on. What she doesn’t see coming is the connection the two share, and the inevitable downfall of the HEA she dreamed of.

Gemma’s journey to find her HEA is filled with drama as she goes about the impossible task of choosing between two good men. Most of the conflict is internal. She struggles with preconceived notions and norms. The dialogue in her head is a bit repetitive at times. She goes through her own journey of self-discovery along the way as she challenges herself as well as both men in her efforts to find the best match. There are plenty of steamy moments and lots of great chemistry to go around. But life proves to be messy, and she learns that the hard way.

*Spoilers* Although it makes for just a little more drama, it is sad to see that the men face disappointment beyond simply losing the object of their affection. One is surprisingly abrupt, and the other rightfully confused. With more thoughtful words and a desire to minimize the damage, much could have been prevented. That those thoughts were absent felt a bit off and made Gemma into a Yoko Ono type figure. Nevertheless, the characters conceivably get back on track soon enough.

Gemma’s journey to find a boyfriend by Christmas gets off track when both Lucas and Connor enter her life. Her Greek family adds color to her story. The ethnic references lend an authentic flavor and warmth. Her story is plot-driven. It is a light and fun read. It is written in first person in Gemma’s POV. I rate this book four stars.

Gemma Doukas just wants a relationship, a boyfriend for New Year’s Eve. So Gemma does the unthinkable, she pays two thousand dollars and joins One True Love dating agency. Gemma is bound and determined to find a boyfriend to not only show her family but to finally find love and something long term. Gemma is excited when she is matched with two wonderful guys Lucas and Connor. She loves the stability and promise of forever with Lucas but can’t stop the crazy spontaneous but wants just to have fun Connor. As Gemma gets closer to both she grapples with cutting it off with Connor because she knows he doesn’t want a relationship yet still wants him. Gemma also wants Lucas but can’t give him everything either. Gemma can’t choose but pretty soon she must because Lucas and Connor will find out soon enough that she is dating them both. Connor and Lucas do have an even bigger secret which will just make the dilemma even more complicated for Gemma.
What a wonderful holiday book perfect for the season! Of course it isn’t all sunshine, roses and rainbows because there are two fantastic heroes making things even more difficult. The story is filled with funny humorous moments, twisted crazy family relations, great major/minor characters and lots of plot twists that definitely keep the story moving. Of course we are also left in the dark between Lucas and Connor. Yes, we suspect but the twist is a good surprise that keeps us tied to the book and turning pages. It would have been nice if there were more hints but it’s still a joy nonetheless. Gemma the beautiful honest Greek heroine seems like she would be a lot of fun. It is kind of sad that she only has one friend because who wouldn’t want to hang out with her? It’s kind of hard to imagine Gemma physically though even with a description but there is also some unknown physiological issues never explained. Lucas seemed like a good guy but it’s really hard not to fall for Connor too. This is definitely a captivating book that is a joy to read!

How is this book published?

Reading this book was like dying a long and slow death!

Not sure how old this author is but as a young professional woman, the words like “girl”, “cool” and “gosh” does not exist in every single conversation I have with others. It was as if this
author is so out of touch with how people talk in their 20’s.

These characters had no depth and each encounter and dialogue went no where and added nothing to the story. And I don’t know any women who would meet a guy on the first date that mentions having sex even if it’s innuendo would go on a second date. Both Lucas and Conner did just that and yet she liked them both?

Gemma was the most wishy washy person ever. Having someone lick your clit is having sex…it’s called oral sex. So it was the most confusing when she would go back and forth with them both. Bottom line she had sex with them both but only one she had vaginal sex. And how is this girl fine with having sex at his parents house also with his brother knocking on the door but at her parents house she’s worried about getting caught?

Lucas is a lawyer!…how the fuck did he not clue in to Gemma also dating his brother Conner when she shows up at his parents house? Especially since she was to meet him else where. And that break up was pathetic! “My dick is bigger than yours…” that’s his comeback? He’s a 32 year old lawyer. This is what a 16 year old would say out of immaturity.

On top of it all…there were a ton of grammatical errors that just added to the torture.

The ending of this book should say it all “My love and my hard cock will last for you, forever.” THE END

❄️❄️ONE FANTASTIC WILD RIDE❄️❄️
Blasting blitzen! Cooper rolls this bad boy right on out with this fun-filled tilt-a-world, basking in the glow and going with the flow, pulling out all the stops, grabbing your attention from the start and holding steady till the end, propelling this jewel to staggering heights. Escapades and serendipity descend in a flurry of mishaps and mayhem, obscured boundaries and shattered perimeters solidify as restrictions are relaxed and exploited, observing the titillating struggles and impressive triumphs as the dramatic twists and wicked turns unfold, kicking this bad boy into the eye of the storm, booting it into a frenzy with astonishing impacts, secrets confessed, revelations unmasked and promises made, blasting this baby to life brilliantly. The attraction and chemistry ignites with such intoxicating intensity and boundless emotions, showcases the thrilling electricity and infinite affection, drawing our characters closer, binding them to one another perfectly. The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balance and blend, with amazing depth and diversity and enough spice to add an extra kick to the mix. Throw in 100% on point realism, raising the stakes with such graphic scenarios that are so colorfully descriptive and vividly detailed its like you're living it with them instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Remarkable job Cooper, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.

I really enjoyed this book. It's well written, entertaining, funny and steamy. This is not a ménage or reverse haram book it’s a love triangle trope. This book has a happy ending and Emma does make a choice between the two men. It's not overly angsty or dramatic which I appreciate. I’m not a huge fan of love triangles or major drama between characters when one person has to choose but I did enjoy this story. Romance is my escape from the drama and troubles of life. I enjoyed the interactions between Emma and her best friend Sarah and am looking forward to Sarah’s book that’s next.

Emma is tired of her family asking her when is she going to find a man. She's tried the free dating sites and gotten nothing but bad dates. She's pulling out the big guns and paying several grand on a dating site membership. She believes this will help get rid of the losers. Emma knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go for it. After narrowing down her matches to five guys she decides to set up dates with them hoping to find the love she's looking for. She eventually narrows down to two guys and they both want to spend New Years Eve with her but the biggest surprise and shock, they know each other. What's Emma going to do? Who will she pick?

Wow, just wow! I loved this heartfelt story of a Greek girl and her typical Greek family who is determined to see her married, especially her Yaya. No pressure! Gemma joins an expensive exclusive dating agency in hopes to find the man of her dreams! She chooses four potential possibilities and settles on two. Lucas, a lawyer, profile has everything she's looking for marriage, kids, and commitment. Conner, a music producer, isn't looking for a serious relationship. No commitment just fun. She has chemistry with both. She is determined not to have sex until she has several dates. Fun yes, sex no, until?? Lucas is handsome and more reserved while Conner is flirty and a free spirit. It gets complicated while trying to date two men who are totally the opposite of each other. Of course, Gemma becomes more attracted to Conner. He was upfront with her not to expect more. So, she leans towards Lucas but keeps being pulled more and more to Conner.
All will be revealed at a New Year’s Eve party.
Which man will she choose in this love triangle? Could there be a happily-ever-after for either Lucas or Conner?

You will absolutely fall in love with this book! There are a few unexpected twists and funny moments with all the dilemmas Gemma finds herself in.

Gemma, 28, is a museum researcher who is looking for Mr. Right in New York City and decides to use an expensive and exclusive dating agency to find someone. She is set up on 4 matches and narrows the possibilities to 2 men after one date. Lucas is a handsome lawyer who wants to settle down and Gemma has fun with him and they go out several times. Connor is a handsome, charming and flirty music producer that she is also attracted to after several dates. Gemma enjoys flirty texts and dates with both alpha men and realizes that she has to decide which one she wants more because she likes them both. When even more complications arise which man will she choose?

I loved this fun story of the Greek girl whose family wanted her to settle down and she decided to try using the dating agency to find a match. The conversations she had with her friend and her grandma were great and provided a lot of insight into Gemma’s thoughts. She was attracted to both Lucas and Connor and they were both interested in her which made her decision even more difficult. I loved this well written, fun, sometimes humorous book with several unexpected twists and highly recommend it.

This was a fantastic story about a young woman, Gemma who is trying to find love. She, like so many other young women feel defeated when it comes to feeling that they will never find that forever relationship. With the pressure of her family that she should be settling down, starting a family is not adding to it. So she decides to take the plunge and join an elite dating service thinking it could lead her to the one. While she does have a few unworthy dates, she has two matches that peak her interest to the point she thinks they could hold a hope for something more. Her conservative values keep coming to play though as she struggles with the thought of having two different guys that she is liking at the same time and what is even more odd is that they are so very opposite. She keeps going back and forth with her attraction to each of them and who is a better choice. So who will she end up with, which is the better choice? Is there something she doesn’t know? This story keeps you on your toes until the very end and has and ending you might now expect. It is definitely a great read.

I received this ebook ARC from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review.
Gemma is looking for a man to start a relationship that will lead to marriage. She joins a dating site and meets Lucas, and Connor. Both men are attractive and she is drawn to each one. Lucas is more stable, he has a good job, and home, and is looking for a woman to fall in love with, and marry. Connor is a bit flighty but loads of fun. He is a music producer and enjoys a free life without any permanent relationships.
She dates both them off and on, but she begins to have stronger feelings for Connor. She enjoys her time with him. Christmas and New Years come around, and she continues to juggle dates with both of them. Everything is discovered at a New Year’s party, there both men realize that she has been dating both of them, and the truth of the connection between the two men is revealed.
Eventually Gemma makes her choice and they obtain their HEA.
I’ve read several books by Ms Cooper, and she always has a great story line, with great characters. I’ll always recommend her books.

Gemma has decided to join a dating site but she has bitten off more than she can chew as she has met two men that she really likes even though they are different from each other they both have great qualities and have both invited her to a New Year's Eve Party how will she juggle two parties in one night. Who will she choose and what will she do when she finds out that they are both at the same party, will they understand or will she loose everything. Omg I absolutely love this book so much as it was amazing and so addictive that I couldn't put it down and the banter between them was so funny that it had me laughing so much. The characters and storyline pulled you in right from the first page and you have to keep reading to see what would happen and you will definitely not be disappointed. J S Cooper is an amazing author and writer and i recommend you read this book and others by her as she definitely knows how to keep her reader's entertained.
I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this book.

Cute and Sexy Story!

Gemma wants to the find “the one” and she also has pressure from her big Greek family to settle down and have a family. Gemma decides to join an expensive dating app to find guys who are looking for a serious relationship.

As Gemma starts going on dates, she is having fun and weeding out the ones that she doesn’t have a connection with. However, it comes down to Candidate #1 and Candidate #4. Candidate #1 is looking for a serious relationship, he is sexy and successful… everything she thought she wanted… however there is something about Candidate #4… such a strong attraction, however he is just looking for fun and can’t commit.

Gemma is dating both and though feeling guilty, she can’t seem to stop her back and forth. However, now she has said “yes” to both for a New Year’s party… even more drama… the same party!

It was entertaining reading through Gemma’s drama. You will really enjoy this cute and sexy story.

Looking forward to reading about Gemma’s friend Sarah too! 😊

I really like this author ...BUT

I so tired of the Brit speak! It would be great if the characters were of British extraction but they're not. Especially in this story the protagonist is of Greek heritage. People who are born and raised in New York City , New York USA do not use "takeaway" to describe carryout ,"lad" to describe a guy be just a guy ,"cricket" to describe playing darts. And please look up the meaning of ground and floor. One describes Tara Firma the other means man made ground covering. This not the only book this author uses Brit speak or does not know what the ground is or what the floor is. This book was very hard to get into, it took a great deal of time for book become worth reading. It seems as though she was only half interested in writing this story. Jeez Louise! I feel guilty writing this review . She needs a better editor and some betas to give her feedback. Bless her heart!!!

It seems as if everyone wants love and to be loved and Gemma is no different. She is a twenty- eight-year-old woman who eventually wants to get married and have children. In order to accomplish this goal, she needs a boyfriend. The last thing she needs is her Greek family getting involved to set her up with a “nice man.” What is a woman to do? Splurge on a costly dating app to meet the man of her dreams…enter Lucas and Connor, two men who are total opposites yet Gemma is attracted to them both and this makes it a tough decision for her. Overall, this storyline is filled with drama, wit, steam and brings to mind the very funny film “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” It is said that you want to love the one person that makes you better and watching Gemma’s journey shows that sometimes life gives you challenges to see how you can handle them and that it is necessary to learn the hard way. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.

It's Complicated by JS Cooper starts with Gemma taking control of her dating life and joining a dating service to find a potential Mr.Right what she didn't expect was to have a to love interest Lucas and Connor. This is a love triangle.

Gemma comes from a Greek family who will marry her off to some random greek, so she pays for an exclusive agency. Gemma is a funny quirky lead who is finally ready to go on real dates. She has a feelings for two men Lucas and Connor who could not be anymore different. Connor is not interested in a relationship, while Lucas is looking for that relationship. Gemma goes on multiple dates with both of them to find out which one she loves. What happens when Gemma dates collide, is she ready to face them both. The twist I did not see OMG what did I just read! It is a fun read, but its seemed fitting for Gemma's story. I kept turning the page to see who she would choose!
