Two-time DragonCon Finalist & Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award semi-finalist--- "Wait a second. Let's cut to the chase. I write kick-ass urban fantasy & sci-fi novels with conflicted characters, breathless action, and no-holds-barred dialogue. My books may not leave you feeling all fluffy and warm inside, but they will excite you. There will be plot-twists, angst, probably a few dead bodies, and very likely your favorite character will turn out to be the bad guy. Don't say I didn't warn you..."
Rating to come in December but here's things I'm hoping for:
1) Please make Rafe disappear. I don't like the character, whenever he shows up the plot ceases to exist, his habit of saying darling makes me squirm, and he's such a boring character. Get rid of him.
2) Add more of Jack. He's entertaining and actually introduces some world-building whenever the plot is focused on him. Plus, he adds maturity in his interactions, unlike Rafe and the heroine acting like horny teenagers.
3) Give me the Vampire Queen.
4) STOP having the heroine silence every character trying to offer exposition. I don't care if it hurts your feelings Lhyner, let the people talk.
