“Shall you discover the book of all charmed mechanic, must you first howl with the wolf, pierce your hand by its stony teeth. Place the teeth to master’s hand, and he shall give you what you seek.”

A time of Charmed Mechanics. Whoever holds the key rules. A 4-part mystery/adventure with Gina Mansfred a jewel thief by night, an heiress by day. But, this female “Robin Hood” has her own issues. She has a dilemma of the heart and an ethical conundrum and spends a great deal of the body of the book in struggling with them. What will she decide?

This book starts kind of ho-hum, but picked in speed and tension as it progressed. I was impressed by the imagination Elina Vale shows, and would happily read another in the series. Highly Recommended 5/5

Our jewel thief by night/heiress by day heroine Gina is something of a Robin Hood. However, a problem arises when she accidentally becomes seriously enmeshed with two men who are in search of some fabled charms giving the holders great power.

She really discovers she's in a major ethical conundrum where Philip and Nickolas are concerned as both her life and her heart-strings are in serious danger. The book spends an inordinate amount of time on it, almost to the point where I could not finish the story. But once it picked up, it r-e-a-l-l-y picked up and then I just could not put it down. If you love authors with great imagination and stories that take you in unique directions, then this is for you! Perfect for the adventure and treasure hunters in us all.

Wow! I loved it. If you like treasure hunting, adventure, romance and magic this is the book for you. Gina is a strong woman and opinionated at a time when women are suppose to be weak and do not have any opinions no matter what according to men.
When her father passes she starts on her adventures by looking for her only living relation. During her adventure does she not only meet one but two devastatingly handsome men that make her heart a flutter. The adventures, romances, with a few surprises and mysteries go on though out the book continuously. I will leave the magic for you to read, because it is such a wondrous thing and you should read about the Charmed Magic yourself.

I really fell in love with this story and the characters. It had me on the edge on my seat almost all the way through, and I finished this book in two days. I loved the complexity of the main character Gina as she tries to navigate through a man's world. She feels obligated to continue the family business as a merchant, but is also pulled in other directions as a mysterious locket comes into her possession. She decides to follow her heart, and it leads her to some unexpected, and troubled waters, but also into the arms of a man that leaves her feeling exhilaration. This book is pretty solid on characterization and plot, but I had to give this story four stars because of a lot of editing issues.

This book was so entertaining! It's a definite page turner and had me questioning who was right and wrong about the Charms and their uses. I have a feeling that things are bound to get even more interesting between Gina, Nick, and Philip. What do you do when your head and heart are in constant battle? I can't wait to see how Gina handles the situations between both guys and what her final decision is about the Charms.

This was a fun book to read. It is the first book in a new series that mashes mystery, magic, secret societies and suspense into a great read. It starts out a bit slow to lour you in and think its a straight forward story, then bang. I loved the twists as the Charmed Mechanics and a simple Love story of who will Gina choose mix together. I loved the writing and the pace and cannot wait for the next one.

The Charmed Locket is the first book in the Treasure Hunter's Heart series. This is a great start to this new series. The characters are well developed and likable. The storyline is well written, with a modern-day Robin Hood, adventure, magic, a love triangle.
I am looking forward to the book in this series.

I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
