THIS IS MY ONLY ACCOUNT. Born and reared in Wexford Town the South East of Ireland, but living with my husband and step-son in Cashmere Washington USA. I have been writing for over 14 years.I love to write stories for those who enjoy to read and experience new characters they can fall in love with. I do not write about butterflies and rainbows and probably never will. I write about love, sex, violence, war, paranormal and sometimes branch out into nonfiction, if, the story is one I feel needs to be told. I create fast paced, dark, strong men but stronger women, while making a point to writing for everyone regardless of sexual preference.
Hellbound is the much anticipated (by this reader) book 2 in “The Sekhet Saga” by K.K. Weakley, (so I was very pleased to receive an ARC copy). Happily, we are reunited with the survivors from Book 1 (and some who did not survive!). Both the well-loved and the cringe-worthy return, although in K.K.’s hands, these are often one and the same. The new characters, pulled from a remote Werewolf pack, offer a glimpse of the demon Sekhet’s reach into the fetid underbelly of the paranormal. The dark tale begins just prior to Hell claiming its due from the powerful witch, Molly Patterson. Her outstanding debt? The self-sacrificing “IOU” she wrote against her soul to save her Sisters. As Molly’s beloved, Joe, searches for answers in the “normal” world, her sisterhood pulls out all the stops to save one of their own from eternal damnation. In the wilds of Montana, the werewolf pack deals with their own bloody “Sekhet problem.” Lucifer and his bride wait in the wings, impatient for Molly’s company in the pits of hell, as two sparring hell demons consider alternate fates for the young witch. Werewolves, witch covens and hell demons populate the pages of this engaging account. Cunning Machiavellian plots abound, as devious as you might expect from this group of intriguing characters. The author casts a literary spell as potent as an enchantment from her Twisp coven. You’re drawn—spellbound into her world of demons, werewolves, vampires... indeed, a full cast of Supernaturals who are impossible to resist. Can even Lucifer hold Sekhet’s sublime fiendishness in check? Will Molly’s demonic father aid the coven to spoil the plans of his dark lord? Or at threat of death, will he bow to the demands of the king of hell...for what does a demon know of love? Can the witches and werewolves find common ground to defeat their mutual enemy? Or do the pages of the mysterious and forbidden grimoire hold the key to Molly’s salvation? No spoilers here! Turn the pages and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed! But fasten your seatbelts and place your seats in the full upright position in preparation for a wild ride. “Hellbound” is a must read for horror lovers!
Demons, Witches and Ware wolves. What more could you ask for, sekhet has her eye on Molly but is forced to seek her pleasure elsewhere. Pain and death is what the demon wants and her target, Wolves. Once again Karen has knocked another book out of the park. This book kept me hooked to the end and wanting more. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
First, as a fellow Washington resident, I love reading about our area through KK Weakley's words.
She makes you feel like you know the characters personally (witches, werewolves, necromancers, seers, demons and more), while seeing the story through each and everyone's eyes. You feel what they are feeling. The story sucks you in and you gasp when it ends because you just want to know what will happen next.
My only critique would be in editing. There were some mistakes that it took me a moment to get past with my OCD mind.
Hellbound by KK Weakley dives right into Lucifer wanting the powerful witch Molly Patterson to pay her debt after sacrificing her soul to save her sisters. Molly’s sisterhood and her beloved Joe are doing everything they can to find a way to save her from eternal damnation. But will Molly’s demonic father be able to save her? Meanwhile, the werewolves of Ware, Montana, deal with an old problem, and her name is Sekhet. Sekhet is also looking for Molly to destroy her, but the witch is under the dominion of Lucifer and Lilith, who want Molly to serve Lilith.
Weakley has done it again! Immersing the reader immediately into the drama, action, and mystery, one can’t help but continue reading on. The author seamlessly weaves several character storylines together to make one nail-biting story. The reader is taken on an emotional and nerve-wracking journey as we are consumed by werewolves, demons, and witches.
The author’s descriptions of places and characters are so vivid that the reader becomes mesmerized by the words. Weakley’s unpredictable writing puts the reader on edge as you never know what is going to happen next. All of your favorite characters are back, including new characters that you may or may not love. Molly’s character is still a favorite as she is a powerful witch who does whatever she can to save the people she loves. On the other hand, you have Sekhet, who is a character you love to hate as she too is powerful and does what she needs to get the job done. Who will win, Molly? Lucifer? or Sekhet? Witches and werewolves must come together to defeat a common enemy.
Hellbound will take readers on a dark and terrifying experience that will leave them wanting more. For those who are fascinated with the supernatural world and enjoy a riveting occult horror novel, this is the novel for you.
I have read the first book from this author and it was awesome! So when I got the opportunity to receive a ARC copy from the author, I took it!
The first book left me wanting more, and I couldn't wait to read this one. My favorite two characters are Molly and Sekhet. One is a witch and other is a demon. Both women are powerful, and have their own agendas, and it makes the story damn interesting. Sekhet's wants to destroy Molly, but the Dark Lord wants her alive just to serve/please Lilith. Chief of police/werewolf is having his own problems and when his sweet loving wife is killed ruthlessly the mystery brews further. If it was not the Dark Lord, not Sekhet, who killed her?
While Molly's fate is sealed, her father buys her some time, her family and her love are trying to save her. But will it be enough? Will she end up in hell? Serve Lucifer for eternity? You have to read this one to find out!
This was yet another wonderful book by K K Weakley! The Sekhet saga continues and it is packed with werewolves, witches, and demons. Hellbound is every bit as exciting and fast paced as Sekhet, and it kept me reading for long hours. I'll be moving on to Eternity with gleeful anticipation to find out what's happening next.
Hellbound is horror meets urban fantasy and it is full of twists. Note that the book ended on a real cliffhanger, so you should probably gear up for book 3 while you're at it.
