A word from the author...
A few years ago, I found myself in a tough season of my life, both personally and professionally. Returning to a powerful reflection exercise I had used earlier in my life, I discovered a new insight which for me brought a clear focus, renewed energy, and a sense of peace and hope. The insight was the gift of Safe Brave Spaces , and it sparked a desire to discover and capture situations, people and resources that had resulted in important changes and moments of realization in my life. I came to see that with this realization, I more fully unlocked my individual potential and helped enable it in others with whom I was in a relationship.

I remember firsthand being in important meetings with people that I really respected (and some I feared) and debating if I should say the unpopular thing, the brave thing, the vulnerable thing. I wish I could tell you I always said it; I often did, however, there wasn't always the sacred space where it was safe, and other times I didn't trust that if I jumped I would be able to handle the reaction. I used to think I needed to arrive at being an "assertive person", however Greg shares the journey that we're all on to co-create brave spaces within ourselves, teams and organizations. I wish I had this book 20 years ago...
